evofox said: could i get some recommendations please. not to fussed over number of episodes genre but not really a fan of sports anime Hi there! I'm not a big fan of sports anime either. I'm awkwardly trying to find something good from my list that you haven't seen... The keyword is "good" The mutual anime list is really bad and misses quite a few entries, so if you've seen any of these ... too bad? Death Note Psychological cool stuff. Very similar to Code Geass, as many people have said. I think so as well, so if you liked Code Geass you'll (99% chance) like this. Steins;Gate Very fun. It's another one of those brainy anime. Includes time travel. I also think it's good. It's a thriller. Noragami Kind of similar to Ao no Exorcist in some ways. It features some sort of mythology. With demon/phantom killing as a main thing the MC needs to do. One Punch Man You liked Mondaiji, and if you liked the OP MC aspect of Mondaiji, you'll probably like OPM as well. Also the main characters are both bored. Uh.. Let me know what you think of these. If you need more recs I'll do my best >.< |

crotaku15 said: Recommend me some seinen which I don't have on Ptw.Each episode 30 min max, no streaming service restrictions. Max 30 episodes. Seinen... Huh? I don't know too many. [ur=https://myanimelist.net/anime/31478/Bungou_Stray_Dogs]Bungou Stray Dogs I guess it's a seinen because the tags say so. There are elements of mystery which you might enjoy. HanaKana also appears as a supporting/minor role in all three seasons. Kiseijuu / Parasyte Apparently also a seinen. Also features HanaKana (in a more main role). This one has more horror. Also has action. Houseki no Kuni The only other seinen I've watched that you haven't. This is very different from the other recommendations in which it isn't set in Japan (it's set in some fantasy world), has non-human characters (they're gems or something), and also doesn't have HanaKana lol. But it might be worth a watch. There's a huge element of mystery surrounding just about everything. Psycho-Pass Isn't a seinen but might be worth watching otherwise. Has HanaKana as the main character. This one is more similar to anime such as Death Note and Steins;Gate - makes you question things, has action, is a thriller, that type. Hope one of these sounds interesting! |

isabilly said: can someone rec me something with 12 eps Well... You liked Orange, so you might like Ao Haru Ride It's 12 episodes. AnoHana Also similar to Orange, but 11 episodes. Otherwise you seem to be a fan of some long-running shounen series. Boku no Hero Academia seems like something you might enjoy if you liked Black Clover. It's 13 episodes. Ao no Exorcist is slightly similar to Black Clover, but it's 25 episodes. Mm.... yeah. Let me know if you need more recs. |

Kiri-gouter said: Hi, here for the challenge as well, can someone recommand me something as well? ^^ Sorry my PTW is already very full, but there are still plenty of stuff not in it ! We have 92 shared anime out of my 190. Um... You think the remaining 100 might be in your PTW? Haha Aggressive Retsuko It's about this office worker who's super nice and then releases her frustration by singing death metal or something. Houseki no Kuni Cool fantasy-world non-human main characters living their life, fighting weird creatures, and trying to learn more about their world. Lots of mystery. IDOLiSH7 It's idol stuff, with guy idols, but you know, actually has plot and stuff. They sing well. Look do you know how hard it is when you have 2700+ anime on your lists and I have <200 completed XD here, some recs that are on your PTW Nurarihyon no Mago - great series with Fukuyama Jun using two different voices. With youkai and secrets and fighting. Pandora Hearts - are you really just putting these on PTW by voice actor maybe? Lol Ono Daisuke's in this one. You should probably watch it. There's a lot of mystery and fighting in this as well. Kuroshitsuji honestly just watch it for the Ono Daisuke. It also has lots of fighting. And Ono Daisuke sounding cool. It's too hard when they're all on your list already lol. |

Eh.. by short, how short? I know this anime called "Wan Sheng Jie" which has 12 4-minute episodes that I'm also watching. But I don't really know how good it is. I'll recommend that if you want XD I'm guessing you want shorter than the standard 12 24-minute episodes? |

nightfury10 said: May I have a rec for something short (either 1 ep ~20 mins or 12 ep ~2-5 mins) please? PTW list means not much, but you can look through it lmao Well this is hard. Most of the short ones I know of are OVA or specials, but you haven't seen the main series for the ones I know of. WELL. Da Wang Bu Gaoxing is a pretty funny Chinese anime (12 7 minute episodes) where the main character rules the Eastern half of the underworld, except she's scared of ghosts. Oops. Here's an OVA: bnha training of the dead One 22-ish minute episode, it's related to S2 which you haven't seen yet, but it should be fine if you read the manga or something? Also how the heck did you watch the Bungou Stray Dogs movie when you haven't seen the show?? BSD Hitori Ayumu is an OVA, but it's more like an episode 25 (between S2 and S3) So consequently you should watch Bungou Stray Dogs (before that.) You might like it because it has action and mystery?' ((Also I see you also watched UtaPri and IDOLiSH7 haha)) There's this other Chinese animation Wan Sheng Jie which is 12 4-minute episodes. Not entirely sure what it is since I just started it for the challenge, but you could try looking into that as well. |

foxxykat1223 said: Recommendations please. minus my PTW entries We have 99 shared anime and you have ~100 PTW. Let's see if I can find something ahah Well... You liked Sword Art Online so Quanzhi Gaoshou Features an older (like, 20 something?) gamer who is the #1 best at the game. There are moments where you see the game from inside the game which is cool, but no one's trapped. You might like it. Idk why Natsume Yuujinchou Roku is on your PTW when Natsume Yuujinchou isn't. Did you forget to add it or anything? Anyway... Natsume Yuujinchou You watched Nurarihyon no Mago and I find these pretty similar, except Natsume is shoujo and has less fighting, and has more episodic stories. They both have youkai and a main character who has a secret. (Being a youkai / seeing youkai) Saiki K. You have Mob Psycho 100 on your list, so if you liked that, chances are you'll like Saiki K. as well. It's technically 120 shorter episodes, but equals 24 normal length ones. There's also a 24 episode S2, and shorter S3 and S4. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu Pretty interesting slice of life but with aliens and time travelers and stuff. Ono Daisuke's here if you're interested. Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic 25 episodes. Has Ono Daisuke being a cool character with a cool voice. It's more actiony. But if you liked Fairy Tail you might like this; though it has less "friendship is power" than Fairy Tail. Hope some of these pique your interest! |

LewdWarrior said: Can someone rec me something? No restrictions but preferably something not super long like more than 50 eps. Thanks! Code Geass... R2 why watch only the summary when you can watch the entire 25 episodes? You better do it. I mean you seem to like mecha so I just ... thought of some mecha. Let's be real I really don't know any Quanzhi Gaoshou Specials the sequel to quanzhi gaoshou, 3 episodes, and also Ye Xiu kind of gets revealed near the end to that one girl who didn't believe him in the first episode We have very different tastes in anime. I guess if you liked No Game No Life you might like Mondaiji Although Mondaiji has more physical fighting compared to No Game No Life's "we were super smart and memorized all the cards" - okay but there is one scene where a character memorized all the cards. Completely random recommendation: IDOLiSH7 aka some idol anime. It's one of the better ones because it has some story and actual realistic conflicts and stuff. They also sing very well. If you want to try some idol anime go ahead XD I actually enjoyed it from what I remember. Natsume Yuujinchou I guess if you liked the more youkai-related aspect of Monogatari you might like Natsume Yuujinchou. I saw it on your PTW. Also the main characters of both series share a voice actor. (Araragi and Natsume) Great I don't really know what you like besides "stuff I don't know" so ... I tried? Hope at least one interests you. |

Very cool. Reminds me of Kamisama Hajimemashita but with less romance. If you liked Magi: Sinbad no Bouken Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic you should watch the sequel/actually the main series Magi You seem to be a fan of anime with romance so Kyoukai no Kanata has romance...? I think? of some sort? This has action and all that too. And sad moments. WEEEEELL I tried |

You liked Saiki K., so you might like Mob Psycho 100 which features a psychic middle schooler and... well yeah there's comedy. He's also very powerful though he can't control it. One Punch Man More comedy with a very bored OP MC. But it's a very funny series. No Game No Life has comedy too. It features two NEET siblings getting transported to a game world, and since they're pros at games they win everything. Mondaiji is similar to No Game No Life. It's an isekai. And the main characters are all super powerful. But it's funny. And there's some action as well. Noragami Lots of action and potential sad moments, but also lots of comedy. I mean if you look at Yato GIFs they're hilarious. Kuroshitsuji Slightly darker too, but also very funny. It has more blood/action than some of the earlier listed series though. And it's 2-cour vs the earlier listed 1-cour series. Well, hope you find something good. Gintama I've heard is a great comedy, but it's long and I haven't exactly watched it yet. |

MoonPhos said: can anyone recommend me some anime? I see you finished Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou so San is next! :) But now if you want some non-series sequel recs, Nurarihyon no Mago It's pretty similar to Natsume in some ways. There are youkai and a main character with a secret. Though in Natsume, Natsume can see youkai, while in Nurarihyon, the main character is a (part) youkai. Kamiya Hiroshi appears in one episode of Nurarihyon. Also if you liked Code Geass, Lelouch's voice actor voices the main character in Nurarihyon. And said main character also has a double identity. Very cool. Nurarihyon also has more action and fighting than Natsume, but I think it also has some sad moments. Death Note is on your PTW and it's great. I watched it for the Miyano Mamoru, but now I wonder why I didn't watch it sooner. It's an amazing psychological thriller. You liked Steins;Gate and Code Geass so I'm sure you'll like Death Note as well. UtaPri S1 I mean... the only reason I watched this was because of the voice actors. It's a reverse harem idol anime and yeah the only thing. I actually liked about it was the music and voice actors. You might be interested, I don't know. Another random rec, Mob Psycho 100 Pretty nice comedy series with some action/fighting and some sad moments. Might be worth a try if you're interested. Hope there's something here you find yourself interested in. :) |

Hm... I don't know what you mean by "short" but I'll try to keep it under 13 24-minute eps. On second thought I really don't watch a lot of historical anime. But anyway, You watched Mo Dao Zu Shi so season 2 MDZS S2 It's 8 episodes. And also by the same author, Tian Guan Ci Fu is 11 eps. It's also similar in some ways to MDZS with long haired dudes in historical but slightly different China and with cool supernatural abilities. I guess? I really don't have anything else that's short or not on your list. |

But I'll try. Well if you liked My Hero Academia and Noragami you might like Ao no Exorcist It's basically shounen with fighting and powers and hunting bad demons. Want to watch more 100% cliche isekai? Isekai Cheat Magician is totally the one for you! and this Kami-tachi one. and uh Bakemonogatari for sort of harem but not really stuff! I think you might like it if you liked Date a Live and UtaPri for really bad reverse harem and i forgot what plot there was if any! But no worries since they sing really well! and here Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus for a pretty cool Kuroshitsuji sequel. I mean you've seen S1 and "S2" so might as well, right? Pandora Hearts is a very interesting supernatural+mystery series with some fighting weird creatures if you're interested in that. |

Thanks for the recommendations |

Can someone give me a rec? I'm good with almost anything that's under 50 eps and is currently completed [preferably not horror or overtly gorey!] |

I love love love all three of those! |

Mob Psycho 100 is also a good show that I enjoyed ;3 |

And Sakurai Takahiro shows up at some point playing Fitzy. Also Bakemonogatari has Kamiya and Sakurai soooo yeah, might be worth a watch just for that. Natsume Yuujinchou is a slice of life with angst and heartwarming scenes and youkai. And Kamiya Hiroshi. Mob Psycho 100 has Sakurai Takahiro as well. On your PTW I thought Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu was a fun show to watch. You might enjoy it too! Steins;Gate was reaaaaally good too. It's also on your PTW. Here's some random recs haha. I enjoyed every single one of the shows listed. |

Hi, can I get a rec from anyone? Preferably something with an all-male, OR predominantly male (ratio 1:3) OR a male duo MC. There can be girls in the MC list as well, just that it needs to have more male characters than female ones. Please don’t recommend harem, reverse harem, or straight romance. Idol anime are okay. If not this, then any slice of life, historical, or military anime. I’ve got a lot of things to go through in my PTW, so if there’s something from there you can recommend, it would be great. Thank you in advance! |

IDOLiSH7 is here for you XD There's like.. um... one female who's not even a "main character" plus 7 male main characters, they're all 10/10 at singing. With Eguchi Takuya. Uhhhh I just realized how many of my anime are actually some harem thing or whatever XD Code:Breaker was interesting. I wouldn't say it's the best but it was cool. There's a male MC and a female MC, but literally there are almost no female characters besides that. Kuroshitsuji has lots of male characters. Also has Fukuyama Jun appearing at times. Pandora Hearts is a mystery action thing with about 2 female main-ish characters and 5 or something males and like... actually not many females again. The music is composed by Kajiura Yuki so I'm sure you'll like the OST. Ishida Akira voices one of the main characters and Fukuyama Jun appears as well. I dunno... I can't find many more predominantly male cast anime that aren't reverse harem on my list haha. I highly dislike harem/romance but for some reason I have a bunch watched. I do remember cringing every time something with that happened though... |
