| This arc is the most beloved arc by manga readers and I don't see a reason for it not to be a same case for anime onlies. If WIT doesn't majorly fuck up somehow, and there's no reason for them to do, I don't doubt it will have score near 9 after it finishes airing. It will certainly go down in time, but I think it will still be a lot higher than previous seasons. |
| It will at least beat Kimetsu no Yaiba (which is a weaker shounen with similar training setup at the beginning) clearly by at least 0.2 points higher score. |
Stop with that. SnK doesn't deserve 9. But a great 8,5 ~ 8,6 it's pretty good. |

| it'll fall down to 8 after it finishes Airing just like Mob psycho, OPM S1 & Haikyuu. 3-gatsu no Lion S2 right now is the highest-scoring non-Gintama sequel on MAL with 9.05, and it finished a year ago. |

Owarimonlgatari second season was at number 1 before 1 ratings came. So anything can happen. Happens with every series, even the ones that marked it's time. Newer people just don't have the context of the time the anime aired, especially nowadays when everyone is stuck in the perpetual seasonal cycle, some of the anime's charm can be lost when you just binge watching something without a care and context. The biggest examples for me personally is Clannad After Story and, one I consider a masterpiece that I've seen the score fall the lowest is the last season of Aria, Aria the Origination. |

| Well, after seeing how it started, with 9.16 score atm, I can say it for sure: It definitely has a chance of ending up with 9+. Imagine if it got such a high score after the first episode, what will happen from now, when the real insanity beings |
