| @NbQuil Have you tried other 4x games like EU4, Stellaris or HoI4? Aside from the basic 4x structure, they are different games so you might like them. However yes, CK2 is the closest you can get as RPG since you are controlling a dynasty rather than a country or civilization. Maybe 4x is not your thing. Ironically I didn't like the CK2 when I first tried too. After playing and understanding the game, I started to have fun. |
| i think my favourites would probably be: - hello charlotte: full series - gris - valhalla: cyberpunk bartender action - oneshot - league of legends (pepehands ...) and i'll give honorable mentions to: transistor and nier automata both of which i have yet to complete but i know i already love. |
| It's hard to narrow down, but I'm a huge fan of: -Okami -Grandia series (2 is my favorite, but I love them all) -Project Diva series -Tokyo Jungle -Super Mario World -Donkey Kong Country 2 -LOZ Breath of the Wild -Shadow of the Colossus -Final Fantasy X-2 -Journey -.hack// series -Zero Escape series -Kingdom Hearts (the first one is my favorite of the series; I haven't played 3 yet so no spoiler responses, please) Those are most of the ones I like to play over and over again, anyways. I'm primarily a fan of platform, adventure, and rhythm games, but there are plenty of outliers that I like. I don't game often anymore, but I'm trying to change that. I don't play online games; I prefer games with a proper end, or at least a point where you can call it 100% complete if there is no story. |

I just hear a lot about how it is super fun once you understand how to play it, but I thought it was a lot of waiting for events to happen. | 1.) the Yakuza series: Got 0 on steam and went whole hog on it. I then preordered kiwami and took off work the day it released I was so hype. Currently sitting at chapter 7 cause I dont feeling like doing all the haruka subquests just yet. I will probably buy every one that gets released on steam now I love this series so much. 2.) Mount and blade: warband- infinitely moddable with a great mix of hack and slash and mild rts. I played this game so much when i first found out about it. Will definitely get the sequel whenever the devs get around to putting out a release date that isnt TBD 3.) Dark Souls- My computer can really only support the first one at lowest settings, but even still I find the combat enjoyable and will be sinking more hours into it and its sequels once i get some hardware upgrades. 4) Fire emblem- whether its playing the GBA games on ROM or the newer ones on a 2DS (until i sold mine, that is) I just love the combat in these games. 5) pokemon series- pretty much this and fire emblem are the only reasons I would consider investing in a DS again. |
