Wait.... if you're a guy, why did you even take those tests? And yes, there are not only two options, but I can't put on a whole list of different options. A title "Tomboys VS Girly-Girls" is more simple, or maybe I'm just lazy.
I just took them for fun.

Some people do act as if there are only two options. Obviously there are always more versions of "in between" then there are poles (there can only be two poles and there can be infinite points in between them). Facebook has around 50 different gender options. Most people will fall in between and it can be hard to figure out which pole they are closest to. Having at least one option for the middle is better than having to choose between the poles.

Shoot.... never thought about that. Yeah, I made a mistake, I should have put something in between, sorry.

I pretty much like either tomboy girls are nice because they have oppinions and aren't afraide to voice them and like going and doing adventurous things and such. Girly girls are cute and are like princesses so yeah both are good in my book :P

That's not necessarily true. Personally, I take care of my appearance when going out but I am considered by my friends as tomboyish because my behavior is not too girly or feminine. So I think that what decides in which category you fit depends on one's personality as well.

That is false. Someone can take pride in their appearance and want to look their best without being a narcissist.

From what I've seen, her hair isn't naturally like that. If you even put a bit of extra effort in your beauty like makeup and hair styling, I think it's a bit girly to do so.

You make it sound like you think that being "boyish" is rolling out of bed in the morning, throwing on some clothes and calling it a day. Even men put effort into their appearance. They shave their face, they fix and style their hair, some men (like business men) even go to nail salons to make sure their nails look clean and presentable. Personal care isn't something that is gender restricted. A girl can be a tomboy and still care about how she looks.

It depends which anime you're watching. If you mostly watch shoujo and josei anime then that's not a tomboy thing at all. Watching shounen and seinen could be considered more of a tomboy thing provided that you're not a fujoshi.

It depends on who got the better ass personality. I've been into girly girls, and I've been into tom boys. Each has their ups and downs. Girly girls can get a tad annoying, and tom boys can make me jealous cause they tend to be the types that have lots of "guy friends".

I will also watch any from any demographic. For whatever reason I tend to prefer TV shows made for either men or for little girls. When I was a brony I also liked Littlest Pet Shop, Winx Club, and a few others. I tried a few episodes of Bratz, but it was shit.

I prefer either Shoujo/Josei or Sports Shounen (not because of the boys but because sports) + SOL. I guess I would lean more on the girly side.

Yeah, little girl shows are nice. They give feel-good feelings.

Not all of them are feel good, there's 3 dark Jewelpet seasons, Heartcatch Precure is pretty dark for a show for little girls, Sabagebu shouldn't even be watched by children under 10.

No!! Anime is of different genres, some which are for young girls, young boys, older women, or older men. By no means it is a tomboy's trait.

Yeah, Kanbaru for me too... I've also just always found it really cute/sexy when girls wear a shirt that's too big for them with no pants, like a dress. It looks especially hot with a basketball uniform :)

That's true, I think different people have different idea's of what makes a tomboy a tomboy though...

I usually think of girly girls as just typical girls, rather then a different breed. While tomboys I kind of think of as the girls who were always the ones playing sports with the guys, don't like to wear dresses, ext.

I do agree that things like sports should not make a girl a tomboy. I've never really thought that, like the girls on my highschools volleyball team were not tomboys lol. The tomboy was that one girl who decided to join the wrestling team that's all guys lol.

I don't think either should be thought of as negative.

A tomboy is usually a girl who's just into more stereotypically "boyish" hobbies and interests. She may or may not have a "boyish" dress style as well.

girly-girls definitely

I don't think you guys have ever seen a proper tomboy, i have. Lol. One of my mother's friends used to be a boxing champion when she was younger or smt and shes essentially a male...... tomboyish girls are only cute in anime and if you've ever met a tomboyish girl thats cute irl then she had high percent of girlyness

for example, Michelle Rodriguez in Fast and Furious is supposedly a tomboy but shes pretty sexualized.

It depends on how tomboyish they are but too much gets really bad, i know cuz ivé met more than one girl like that.

I don't understand why would you be born a girl and not go for cute stuff anyway, if i was a girl id be all up in cute shit over the place, especially shoes

You can do that anyway. Might be something you want to keep private though, since cross-dressers in public are generally vulnerable to getting their ass beaten.

And as Fintan said, you've mixing up "butch" girls with "tomboys". At the end of the day though, they're only loose categories/terms to refer to people by, everyone's different.
