| No and I was taught by my mother to keep my hands to myself but if I'm being assaulted to retaliate despite their gender. I seriously hate the idea that a man shouldn't defend himself if he's being attacked by someone who happens to be female. And one of the worst yet most common excuses seems to be, "You can't hit a woman, they're weaker than guys!" If a grown man defended himself against a teenage boy, how many people would complain about it? The sad thing is if you're getting hit by a woman and it's witnessed or reported, chances are it will be ignored. But if you hit her back then good fucking luck. However, I do think it's necessary to respond with appropriate force. For example if she slaps you, you shouldn't proceed to grab her head and slam it into wall several times like you're in The Raid. |

| I'm not really one for violence in the first place, probably because I'm a weak little bitch who'd lose against anyone in a fight. Do I think it's bad when a man hits an abusive woman? If she has a history of being abusive and violent, and the man is trying to defend himself, then no. I don't think violence is a good thing in the first place, but I'm not opposed to it if you're engaged in a physical fight with another person, and I don't care whether that person is a man or a woman. |
