| I'm sitting here at my friend's house while he's watching anime and he is really laughing out... LOUD! So this made me wonder how many people really laughs when watching anime. I guess I'm more of the type who sits there quietly watching even if something funny happens. |

| Not that often, as most comedy anime fail to make me laugh. Recent anime I've watched that actually managed to make me lol are Cromartie HS and Those Who Hunt Elves. |

| Very few anime have made me do this but I will admit I have. Most of the time I just have a happy face during a funny comedy scene or I will laugh but just not loud. |

| Usually when I think something is funny, the most reaction it'll get out of me is a smirk. So when something does make me laugh out loud (happens maybe once in every 10 series' I watch), it instantly boosts my appreciation for that series. |

| Well that's how I differ normal comedy series from my favorite ones. Gintama, Arakawa, Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei and DMC really made/make me laugh loud a lot. These are the only series I can think of that did that repeatedly to me so far, though Irresponsible Captain Tylor also had a few moments like that (but I haven't seen half of it yet). | I don't watch a lot of comedy but when something hits my funny bone, yes, I will laugh out loud. ADV's dub of the first Saiyuki as well as their dub of Ghost Story definitely caught me off guard a time or two. |
