| Crazy lore and development this chapter. So there was a traitor after all. Figured Whitebeard wouldn't hint at the possibility for no reason. Ochoku looked like the scummiest, so that checks out as well. Since Wano traitors seem to be obligatory in every arcs. And eriously, Shakky being the main prize as the most beautiful woman in the world is not stupid in the slightest. Rayleigh and Roger have more than valid reasons to pull up for here. For those not satisfied with that, there's another reason for Rock's going to God Valley. He sent Teach and his mom there. Dragon still a young marine was there too. This definitely was the key incident which made him start Revos. Also, Xebec was part of the Davy clan and so is Teach. The bloodlines for Luffy and Teach going way back cements the Naruto vibes all over again, lmao. Well, we felt that way since Imu's introduction and this development isn't surprising. That said, character being revealed as D. clan members lost it's novelty factor and shouldn't be that impactful anymore..unless it's Davy Jones himself. That's pretty sick. Plus the Davy clan is a new one. For Law the D. in his name was secret, for Xebect it's Davy, which says a lot. The line about Teach being special hits even harder now. And heck, even when Kuma was too kind and didn't become one, Blackbeard has every right to become a villain after all this xD The set up in this chapter is crazy. Everyone was on frigging God Valley. Hyped for the main event. I hope Oda won't leave us blueballed. I won't expect full fights. At least give us some match ups, clashes and the conclusion. |

| It's so cringe seeing mfs call this "Goon Valley" because of Shakky being the grand prize, with rescuing her presumably being the reason why Roger went there. The fandom is in shambles thinking this makes Roger look bad like....how lol. Putting his horniness for Shakky aside, is he supposed to just sit around with his thumb up his ass and do nothing while someone he knows and probably respects is paraded around as a prize for the CDs? Like, no shit he's going to jump into action lol. So the discovery that Garling made in the previous chapter that he said would please Imu was definitely him finding out about Rocks' family. And if Rocks was just trying to protect his family, I wonder what made Roger team up with Garp to take him out 🤔 maybe he was rampaging, or perhaps Imu took over his body like what they're doing in the present to Gunko. Also, as a side note, it's nice to see that Rocks wasn't a deadbeat dad LOL. I suppose I should stop calling him Rocks after the revelation that his name is actually Davy D. Xebec, descendant of Davy D. Jones. Like FM said, there's so many "D" characters in this series that the novelty has worn off, but I'll admit I never thought Davy Jones would be revealed to be a D. This makes Blackbeard's ancestry even more interesting. After reading: This incident really moved all the chess pieces into place perfectly. Roger and crew going there to save Shakky, Rocks going there to save his family, and Garp going there because he heard Roger was going there. All the major players converging. Seeing what Dragon experienced, it makes sense why he left the Marines and started the Rev. Army. It's also insane that Shakky getting kidnapped halted the global economy for weeks. Man, we're finally gonna see the God Valley Incident, I've been eagerly waiting for this ever since we were drip fed some brief GV crumbs all those chapters ago. In terms of matchups between major characters we'll definitely see Rocks vs. Garp and Roger, and hopefully Rayleigh vs. Garling, other than that we'll probably just see some quick clashes. |

It's somewhat ironic for the current trend of this male's fragility/insecurity, where being a goon or simping is now synonymous/projected with being less alpha, having less aura, etc. It's not like Oda demasculating or making the characters less cool. If anything, Roger is the homie you want to put aside his feelings and basically support his fam Rayleigh. |

| that's some crady lore bomb drop in here. so the gov (garling) infiltrate hachinosu and kidnapped shakky to prepare her for his bride in the span of 1 year. dragon is still a cadet at the time, I hope Oda make him a powerful not just as an influence figure, but a really powerful individual in term of raw power. ginny leak the info to morgans, a newbie at the time and morgans leak to both rocks and roger. this would lead him to become notorious in the underworld today. Xebec has a family in god valley (which also become target for hunting), had to go after hearing shakky is also held hostage and became a prize in the same hometown as his family. it's 2 bird with 1 stone for him. Xebec is trying to save his family and the other crew trying to save shakky, their goals aligned. it looks like harald choose to go down in purpose after knowing Xebec going there for his family. but Roger had to be an ass for stopping Xebec to save his family. the prize is 9 chest, 10 including shakky. dragon saves shanks by putting him into 1 of the chest, but what happen to shamrock? it's now makes sense why shanks feel too attached to luffy, shanks might already know dragon saves him, and he's just paying back by protecting luffy. and the gov also know about davy clan, after all this time Xebec can't even hide his true identity. no wonder Dragon never met luffy since child, he doesn't want the same happened to him. |

| Okay so Ochoku basically aided in the kidnapping of Shakky, Don Marlone (Presumably, Capone's father died). So Rock's real name is Xebec :0 Davy is his clan, That was surprising. Ayoooo, Was not expecting that random Dragon reveal, He saved Shanks and Shanks saved Luffy lol (I wonder if Shanks knows this fact) Also, Are Dragon and Roger actually somewhat friends? Could this explain why he entrusted Ace to Garp (Because he's Dragon's father) or maybe it was by coincidence that Shanks landed on Rogers's ship. Dragon must have eaten a legendary devil fruit here, No reason why Oda would show Dragon as rookie here otherwise. So the world government doesnt even know that they've kidnapped Xebec's family damn, I honestly really like Rocks as a character now. Call him a scumbag but atleast he has morals. He even still considers Harald his friend despite their falling out. So this God valley incident was actually incited due to Shakky (Goon valley is real lol) but underneat it lies a fact that due to Ivankov and Ginny leaking the news to Morgans, All the top tiers will gather here now. Garling is a piece of shit though, Cant believe he's Shanks' actual father. Side note, This is where Bigmom got fruits for her children and probably Katakuri aswell. | Peak Chapter 🔥 The reason behind the God valley incident wasn't just for the devil fruits which we came to know through Ginny sending the transmission. It was just one of the reasons. Who the hell managed to abduct Shakky from the Pirates Island with full of Rocks's crew there..even taking down Don. And Rocks was actually hiding his real name. So the D doesn't stand for Davy since his name is Davy D.Xebec and he's related to the legendary pirate Davy D. Jones. Garland proved how big of a scumbag he's is. Killing Shanks mom and he tried to take Shakky as his wife as well. I think Garland just wanted a kid from the bloodline of D who lived in God valley for some reason. And he must have known about Rocks's family living there and the Davy clan living there for years. Dragon saved Shanks and how did he end up with Roger ? What about Shamrock ? How did the twins get separate ? How did Teach escape? Why Garp and Roger fought against Rocks ? Or was it just a lie spun by the world government? We will get to know all the answers to these questions in the upcoming chapters.. |
