| I feel sorry for anyone living in Rotsgard at the moment. Amidst the ongoing chaos in Rotsgard, the group led by Makoto, who entrusted the battle against the mutants to the knights, focused on aiding the evacuation efforts of other countries and townsfolk. Meanwhile, a considerable number of mutants appeared in the city and surrounding areas. Informed of this development by Makoto, Jin and others set out to exterminate them. On the other hand, Mio, tasked with escorting refugees by Makoto, detects a strange smell during her mission. Following its source, she discovers Ilumgand, who, despite becoming a mass of flesh, has regained consciousness. It's basically full-on war in Rotsgard right now. |

| Ah yes another episode of barely anything happening. Alot of scheming going on for a bunch of people that all could easily single-handedly kill all the demons. I might get that Makoto underestimates his power, but surely Tomoe, Shiki and Mio understand that they could just wipe the floor. Yet no one is doing anything for some reason... So boring. |

| The main character is becoming more and more unlikable, he is extremely passive. It's a wonder he actually did something for once and saved some women. Like bro, why are you sad your store is destroyed when the the whole city is getting massacred and you could have easily done something with your super OP henchmen. This season is so weird and boring at the same time. |

| Makoto beat the “he doesn’t care about hyumans” allegations today by saving the prostitutes from the octopus monster, but bro is stronger than me because I would’ve folded as soon as I saw pink haired girl lol. Speaking of the monster, that design is hideous holy shit a dog mixed with an octopus was not what I had on my bingo. In the minority here, but I hated the Mio scene. Genuinely felt bad for Hopelys and think he should’ve got a redemption arc, or at least a chance to talk to Luria again. Really got dealt a bad hand with being manipulated by the demons and separated from a childhood friend. Mio just killing him like that didn’t sit right with me at all. Also, I get that Makoto wants to plan things out so that he grows his business and gets more customers etc, but surely we don’t need this much time spent building up to him and the others taking on the demons? He, Mio and Tomoe can easily wipe the floor with them. Crazy to think the Hibiki hero flashback episodes that everyone hated ended up being the best eps this season so far 😂 Hopefully next episode we get some action. |

| Idek why he's still pretending to care about that town or his business in it when he was literally just talking about leaving town after that event ended. "OH no the place I was about to abandon is getting wrecked". Really enjoyed season 1 even with as rushed as it was, s2 tho has just been abysmal. Too much focus on things you should otherwise be able to just pick up on or foreshadow and instead just an excessive amount of world building that doesn't actually go anywhere. Like some aspects of the story introduced relevant changes but 18 episodes worth? Feels like 12-16 episodes of mostly nothing. We all always knew the shop wasn't going to work out, just like I knew after season 1 him going to school would be boring as hell. |
| Huh... I hate Mio for killing Ilumgand's remains. Makoto actually thought of bringing him back from the start, and even asked questions concerning how to make him hyuman again. iirc, it's not impossible but it'll be a hard process. So, if Mio actually understands Makoto's point of view, she would actually make him not die, but instead she killed him because of her own ideas. What a sad of a character. I actually liked her at first, now I don't. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Makoto is great for prioritizing helping prostitutes over citizens; we should learn more from him. Estelle seemed nice, and she'll help Makoto establish an alliance with the brothel owner. I liked the part where Mio killed Ilumgand; for some reason, I didn't want Ilumgand to return to being human, so I'm satisfied. It's time for the Kuzunoha Company to take action. It's about time the anime improved a bit. |

| bro could save the entire city in an instant but decides to lay low and save some prostitutes? you don't really get a feeling of intensity or danger when all he does is laze about and talk to people, like show us what the mutants are doing, show us the danger that the city is in because honestly they are not selling us on that just by saying oh the slums are okay now. |

I guess Mio didn't figure out the Hibiki she met was actually the hero... which is interesting, cause I thought Makoto told his servants about the 2 other human heroes? Tho Makoto didn't meet them yet. But Tomoe met the male hero and knows he's the hero. And... Mio technically fought Hibiki before Mio met Makoto... Mio is even trying to hide she's the spider that attacked her... so how is Mio thinking the current Hibki she met is someone else? HUH?... Okay someone explain why makoto has no issue watching people be eaten but come running like a white knight when the hoes are in danger? I know they are customers but surely that is not an actual reason. That would be retarded and so unnecessarily misanthropic. Speaking off, his human hatred makes no sense and isn't consistent. Makoto is trying to be a SIMP so dudes getting eaten is all good, but gotta save the girls and build that harem. LOL.... TBH, MC's personality and mindset is actually quite terrible... |

Well at least Makoto receive a lot of side quest there, not such a simple side-quest, but perhaps, a 'side quest, which; meet with the kingdom princess, empire princess, japanese-like country rep lady, even with the boss brothel! Looks like demon mischief doing actually create the more good opportunity for Makoto to regain more good standing toward the hyumankind society hierarchy. Since its needed to his goal as the greatest merchant on those world. Tho he still needs to be careful to not being naive, since i feel like even among the closed follower there'll be like one or two that goes oit of control. Sooner or later far future.... |

They spend even a few minutes on the scene of Mio and Armgand and finally she killed him anyway!! What is the point? What did this scene add to the story?

| @emo82 The point was to show her loyalty and cold heartedness to anyone that would dare offend Makoto, basically Albedo. Was a bit shocking I guess but that was the point. Azumi no doubt taking some notes from Maruyama. I enjoyed seeing Mio flex a lil. |

| With Iiumgand handled by Abelia, Makoto readies to move on to evacuate the people, as well as evaluate his students on the former's extradition as well. There's still so much to do in Rotsgard ridding all of the monsters, like a mollusk attacking prostitutes to which Makoto comes to the rescue for repaying their attending to his business, led by the brothel's supervisor of former adventurer Estelle. Mio sensing that Iiumgard isn't defeated yet, and hands him a taste of her medicine just for trying to harm Makoto. The whole situation of demons attacking Rotsgard, Makoto and gang still cannot pinpoint the reason for the instigation. Still, whatever connections they have, this is still an opportunity for the Kuzunoha Trading Company to firmly establish their position within the Academy City, falling into ruins. It's still salvageable within the mess that is Rotsgard. |
