| The reaction of the crew is so nice 🤣 Not only the cover page was a callback Luffy was saying a bunch of nonsense lmao. Thank you Zoro, for basically having the common sense of a normal human being. Man, I've been missing these interactions on the Sunny.  Pretty sure many of us remembered this Oda is blueballing us now with Luffy's dream. These words from back then have a totally different meaning now  The first thing that comes to my mind is that Luffy wants to create his own kingdom that spans across the globe. That would mean he replaces the WG. Of course everyone is going to live freely and pirates will have a different image. Sounds so unspired, but I can't come up with anything better for now and it would be a good contrast to Imu(the current king of the world) this chapter. One Piece went dark again. We kow Lulucia from Ace's coverstory, we saw Koby and Helmeppo saving their princess from kidnapper pirates and the Revolutionary Commanders were introduced in the port town belonging to the kingdom that was attacked by Peachbeard. RIP Moda. Nobody should've survided that is what I would like to say if this wasn't One Piece. Oda has been killing some characters here and there, especially recently, but you can't be sure. Imu gotta be on some Enel shit. Being able to erase an entire island like that makes the Buster Call look cute. Did this happen to God Valley too? More importantly, there gotta be a condition or drawback to this ability or Ancient Weapon. Like how much time it takes to charge the attack. Besides, I don't think they're a combatant...I hope they're not. The WG and Navy forces are already having the numerical advantage. Speaking of cruelty of the WG. For now I'm more interested to find out more about Bonney. Why was she after Blackbeard? What's her realtionship with Whitebeard or Ace? Was she indebted to the Whitebeard pirates? Why was the government showing great interest in her, because of what she saw/knows? With her on board we could get exposition on the Sorbet Kingdom, Kuma and how exactly the WG framed him wrongly(?) . He's widely known as the Tyrant Kuma, which was pretty much contradicted by his demeanour and later by Sabo. Abou time to find out what's the deal here. Speaking about Kuma, there's also the connection to Vegapunk. So introducing him now would kill two birds with one stone. There's also potenial for more funny interactions. -Competitive eating between her and Luffy - Zoro will remember her and vice versa. This could get funny once Sanji catches on. - Sanji will of course simp and gladly cook for her. Knowing the amounts Bonney can eat, I wouldn't be surprised if he lets the others(aside from Nami and Robin) starve xD Can't wait to see how the new arc will unfold. Perhaps Oda will add Urouge too sooner or later, for he's the only Worst Generation member without much screen time since the timeskip. @VolKur it gotta be somewhere and that would be the best bet so far |

With Bonney showing up at the end it looks like it's now her turn to be the Worst Generation member that's featured prominently alongside the Straw Hats in the upcoming arc. Looking forward to seeing more of her since she's barely been featured in the story. |

I'm worried about the citizens of the island, especially that girl from Ace's sidestory. I'm guessing the island destroying beams were Uranus since it's the only Ancient Weapon that hasn't played a role in the story yet and it makes sense that that weapon would have something to do with the sky given its name. I figure this power is also what destroyed God Valley. What puzzles me is why Im destroyed this island in particular; the Gorosei's dialogue implied that Im chose the island without knowing that Sabo was there, so there must've been another reason. Also I'm really pissed off that Im's design is still in shadow. Oda has this annoying habit of using silhouettes and it's getting frustrating now that we're so close to the climax of the series. Oh and since the next island is a winter island, doesn't that rule out the crew heading to Sphinx or Fullalead next? |
