| Unlike most of you who didn't care for the drawn out face shots, i actually welcomed it because it gave us time to really see each and every reaction of the scabbards when denjiro revealed himself. Great episode and use of the recap material was also necessary and it was short enough to not be a bother. I am so excited for next episode.. |

| Gotta admit, the episode had quite some padding. Still, it was good to see the Scabbards reaction to Denjiro's reveal and their memories together. The Kin'emon part was quite funny too lmao, when I saw Kanjuro flying away, I felt like Sanji should catch him asap, preview made it true lol |

| Kin'emon got quite lucky with his wrong interpretation of the altered symbols , I like how the Akazaya members besides Denjiro (his oldest friend) actually know he really believed it meant 'lizard' instead of 'wharf'. |

| I feel like Oda made this arc overcomplicated just to make it last as long as possible, the story would be almost exactly the same and probably better without the spy. Also before someone asks, the Triforce-like symbol on one the ships was the emblem of the Hōjō clan. There's another ship with the Toyotomi emblem so I assume that the ones I don't recognize are also references to historical clans (with the exception of Kyoshiro I guess). |

| Kinemon's reaction was priceless lol, Denjiro finally met his friends again. Everything is going good so far except that they took Momosuke but we saw Sanji trying to save him. Can't wait for the next episode. |

I'm also no fan of Kanjuro as traitor, but without there being one, Jack wouldn't have been able to find Zou, which was the trigger event for a chain of actions. |

| So Denjiro finally made his reveal to the Akazaya Nine. I just loved the reaction everyone had. After such a long time I'm sure most of them thought he was dead. To see him being alive was surely a big relief. I can't believe Denjiro thought Kinemon faked Tokage port as their meeting point and instead meant Hato. After such an conincidence I'm sure any luck Kinemon had left is now gone for the rest of his life lol. I mean we saw his reaction a couple episodes ago. If that was him just playing arround there he would have been a better actor than Kanjuro could ever be. But after all what happened in the past with Oden and also Wano it's nice to finally get some sort of justice even if it means to be lucky. Kinemon was died inside when he heard Denjiro missunderstood the plan which was hilarious. Obviously the rest of the Akazaya Nine knowing Kinemon noticed it was pure luck. I'm amazed Kanjuro was able to repel Kawamatsus attacks even with Momo on his left arm. He's a lot stronger as I thought. Judging by the preview we get some more action with Sanji and Zoro, but I have the feeling Momo won't get rescued. This would make things even more interesting because stakes would get even higher. |

| If I didn't spoil it to myself, Kyoshiro's real identity would indeed come as a surprise. Nevertheless, it was an epic way to reveal it, and seeing it in motion was much better than expected. It's very funny that Denjiro thinks all the changes were a part of Kinemon's plan. Hahaha, it's funny how clueless Denjiro is, but even more hilarious that the change was based on a lizard, a change based on luck. LOL. Yep, Kanjuro is a worthless piece of shit serving under Orochi, but it's quite understandable. Nevertheless, he is a scumbag using their hospitality to his advantage. Then again, he is quite clever for deceiving them for so long. In the end, I was confused. Kanjuro had kidnapped Momo and was about to get away and the mugiwara crew just stood there and watched. Positively the preview showed.... |
