| Well Shinji's discussion with those people IS really happening, inside of the entity that tries to absorb humanity into one being. Watch End of Evangelion since it's what the ending was originally planned to be. The show isn't written in a way that is supposed to make complete sense, you just need to think of your own explanation. |

Some of the theories people come up with about things like the "Congratulations" scene always get me, when the answer is right there if you just watch that show. | The ending isn't bad from a thematic, and narrative perspective but it sucks because we are viewers and we wanted some closure that didn't involve avant-garde bs. They ran out of money but yeah End of Eva is better. |
