| Better premise than Book of Craporra. 7ish episode, giving it two-three eps before dropping. Nothing impressive nonetheless. Worse animation than Hatchin too. On the bright side, not too much fanservice meaning this anime might have a story (which is important in fantasy genre). |

| Well, it was ok but I have to say I actually enjoyed "lol-crap" Kämpfer more than this. With both being generic this one wasn't even a little bit funny (besides the "confession"-scene). I don't really like the main girl. Luke is ok. Male Tsundere vibes. XD Forging that sword was pretty awesome. Somehow the character art totally reminded me of Kannagi. I will give it a 2nd episode but it doesn't look too good at this point. It just doesn't look interesting enough to entertain me. Have to keep my PTW small for this season. |

| Wasn't too bad, but wasn't good either. Wasn't bad enough to drop... Though its probably the worst on my list this season so far out of 6 titles (Asura Cryin 2, Kampfer, Book of Bantorra, Railgun, Letter Bee and this). It did get a little better towards the end though. Hated the op, the ed was alright though. |
| Extremely generic episode for a most probably generic show. Yes, production values were good, but the character, the script and the direction are heavily cliché and absolutely nothing stands out in this first episode. It's once again a downgrade from the part of manglobe: Samurai Champloo > Ergo Proxy > Michiko e Hatchin > Seiken no Blacksmith. Not counting that Seiken no Blacksmith is the first teenager show that Manglobe makes. Oh and that makes it their first adaptation too, so why adapt this virtually unknown Light Novel specifically into anime? Wonder how low they can get with their next anime now. The shows of this new season are really horrible for the moment, seeing that White Album 2 and Bantorra are my top 2 of the early fall... (well, not even one show of my most wanted 5 has been released for the moment, thanks God, so I still have some hope :)). |

| I dunno about you guys, but I love it. The fanservice wasn't too bad, there was a hint of comedy, and yet it kept it's promise of fantasy and still retained a plot. (with a cliffhanger at the end!) My list of fall anime is still going on, but I just saw the Craporra episode, so I'm very happy that this episode lived up to the trailer unlike the others. |

Those words were the process of forging a sword, so it was kind of the same process, but magically done. |

| Prolly own fall show i'm watching besides FT and Railgun but the art looked good with somewhat generic characters, I'm not expecting much in 12 episodes but i'll probably stick with it and hope the 1st episode was just average because it was an introduction episode. |

| Yes, pretty average IMO. I didn't like the charadesign and everything seems just generic...Maybe I will watch 1-2 more episodes. The anime hasn't many epis so if it wont get better until then I am sure that I haven't missed anything great. |

| Could be better, but I'll definitely keep watching. Does seem like good production values. Hopefully they'll throw in some decent enough character development and real plot once this gets going. |
| The fantasy setting with nice animation and design is very refreshing, the plot isn't going to be very original or complex, but I'm pretty sure it's a show that will be above the season average. |

| Ok start...I liked it. Luke is cool, and his lil sidekick loli as well. Cecily is kind of annoying, but cute. The fight with the three monsters was nice, I liked his fancy footwork. The forging of the sword was cool. I think I'll watch this show, make my decision after a few more...Urahara Out!! |

| Meh. I was NOT impressed. The wolf? monsters/demons were interesting. Sames goes for the hooded guy and his scarred sidekick. The forging of the sword made me go WTF is that, not to mention the insane long chanting. Luke did however handle himself nicely when fighting. Might hang in there and watch the second episode. Seriously guys am I the only one here that noticed how often then screwed up the anatomy of Cecily's boobs ^^ |

| just watched the first episode and i was actually surprised at how much i liked it. before the season started i read the synopsis of this anime and thought that i wouldnt like this at all and also the hole character design also didnt really appeal to me but after i watched the first episode my thoughts on this series changed. the ending of the episode was really good, i like the endings of episodes where they leave you with a cliffhanger and make you want to come back for more. i rate this episode a 4/5 and that a really good score seeing that i havent rated anything over a 3/5 except for Letter Bee that i gave 5/5. looking forward to next episode :D |
| Pretty average start. I don't really like the character design. Reminds me of Kannagi or Umi Monogatari. And Cecily's constant introduction speeches were starting to get on my nerves. I'll continue to watch because it's manglobe though. |

I didn't find this first episode half-bad compared to others this season, but my standards are probably down a bit after watching Kampfer, that book show and other shit. | Well, this is the first on my Fall list that I scored higher than 3; 4/5. :'} Bantorra wasn't what I was expecting it would be...so I'm quite happy about this...even though I wasn't really expecting anything that much. But I like the simple, easy-on-the-eyes character design. :'o I'm surprised myself that I came to easily like this with just the first episode. I wonder if it really is because I wasn't really expecting much from this...lawl. Anyways... that OP, reminds me of someone singing through her nose...so I don't like. Toyosaki Aki-san's song for the ED is cute though. :'] I don't dislike it but I don't really like it that much either...but it's better than the OP. Maybe it'll take time until I could get used to the ED and like it...so yea. Cecily can be annoying... -scratches head- I hope she doesn't become MORE annoying as the story progresses. o_o;; I like Luke. :'3 And Lisa is cute. That sword forging was awesome. x'3 Now if forging swords were as easy as that, man, wouldn't that be cool? >w< Anyways, definitely going to continue watching this one! ;'3 Since it's better than Kampfer and Bantorra's first episodes. | good start, this show seems promising. Seems like it will deliver at least a decent fantasy story. The forging of the sword was quite cool and interesting, the action seems very good as well. The fan-service seemed completely unnecessary though, comedy as well. The ED song sucked, I don't want to hear more songs by her! :( |
| This episode was actually pretty good IMO, probably one of the best that has come out this season (so far), but then we have to see how it develops... And then, was it me the only one that thought that Cecil's outfit = a warrior version of a maid? I don't know why you guys even downloaded Kampfer, as soon as I read that it's about a guy that "transforms" into a girl... |

| One word... MOE!!! And LOL at the names: Cambell w/o a "p", oh well, maybe I was too used to American and English names <_< " Luck-Ain't-Worth"? What a badass name indeed XD Overall, it was a pretty good 1st ep, beating Kampfer, Book of Bantorra, and Loligun by a huge mile, only complain I got is about Luke design looked too MOE compared to his cool, bishonen manga look. Other than that, action is good, plot is good, character design is good, main characters are good. | Fabulous Luke is fabulous. That was quite nice actually - better than I expected after reading a bunch of troll posts at /a/. The forging of the sword was a bit strange, did the monster stop to watch it too just like Cecily? |
