 Reaction to being screwed over by Kurapika  RUH OH! A great end to the Yorknew Arc! The artwork/cinmetography/animation was TOP NOTCH this episode. Madhouse is awesome for animating the little details, adding the extra polish that just makes me fall in love with the show as much as I am. Just one example is when you see Illumi posing as Hisoka you see the tiny little fidgets showing the difficulty in him keeping his form together without his needles. As for the resolution to the story itself, a lot of the plot points this arc were tied up into a big bright bow. Gon just earned another reason why he's such a great protagonist to follow. When the Troupe were arguing whether to let Paku take Gon/Killua for the exchange, he calls Feitan/Phinks stupidity out for not knowing that all she wants to do is save a friend which to normal people would be common sense. The end though after the exchange occured and Gon/Killua finally progress on obtaining Greed Island though they run into the PT again. The silences there were perfect for the comedic effect btw. Anyway, when we saw Pakunoda's memory showing why Gon and Killua chose not to run away, it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling( the music also helped in that regard X D) . Farewell Hunting For You Dream!! | Started this arc with high expectations and was not disappointed. Besides the stunning visuals and the dark tone, I loved seeing the story from both perspectives, from the main cast and the villains. I hope the movie does the same. Maybe even showing the history of Kurapika as a child as well as before the formation of the Spiders. Haha, I feel bad for Hisoka. The fight between him and Chrollo was something I was dying to see. I'm so psyched for Greed Island. It'll be a nice change of pace to have a light-hearted tone following Gon and Killua's growth. |

| Felt a little rushed but I figured they wanted to end right at that flasback. It does give a feeling of an ending to the arc. |
| Yeah! That was hilarious when they walked into the auction house and saw the Troupe members. Hopefully new opening and ending next week. I wonder how much this series will animate? I expect all of Greed Island, but I don't know about the arc after. |

| A surprisingly touching episode with Paku's death, i love hoe antagonists are portrayed in this show unless like other shows where they are simply murdering barberians but here even though they commit crime the show still portrays them as 'human'. |

| Hisoka's trolled face FTW. The old version was too serious it missed out on bits like this one. Still fast paced, but I have to say MH's presentation gave the arc a different vibe. Although MH made the arc too fast paced for my taste, MH actually made the arc more shounen-like, ending Pakunoda's death (and the arc in general) at a somewhat lighter note. It also shows Kurapika as a proper human being, choosing his friends over his revenge (unlike you know who). HxH is very shounen, and is not as dark (as the 99 version) and disgusting as people say it is; only Togashi's drawings are ;P Even if Paku had a much shorter screen time in this adaptation, I hope the new fans still appreciate her and her role in the plot. P.S. PLEASE CHANGE THE OPENING!!! C'mon, animes with unchanging openings are ancient history; I even sound redundant with that statement, so Madhouse... please. |

| The episode did feel a bit rushed, but I can't say I wasn't satisfied. Loved the stuff with Pakunoda at and near the end. Hisoka and Chrollo moment was pretty funny as was the whole thing with Gon and Killua running into Phinx and Feitan at the auction hall. Anyway good episode, fantastic arc, and I can't wait for Greed Island! |

| I agree they rushed it a bit, and could have made one extra episode to completely pass over the ending properly. God lies in the details after all, but then again it probably only seemed rushed to us people who watched the original OVA. Things that I did miss though, and were in my opinion quite essential in the previous OVA: Paku's endless deliberation over saving the boss and therefor betraying her friends + the spider, and ultimately coming to the conclusion that sacrificing herself is the best road to save both. Hisoka's utter frustration and disbelief over Crollo loosing his powers, after Hisoka went through years of preparation and effort to come to this event. Kurapika succumbing to sickness because the realisation of him completing his lifegoal finally hit him, and his inner self struggling with that change. |

| Awesome end to a great arc. I haven't read this arc in a while, but wasn't Paku supposed to have some more story to her? She seemed to go along willingly... then again she did question herself last episode. Also did they skip over the entire auction part when Gon, Killua and are auctioning off their stuff? |
| Well that was a fantastic arc and one that is definitely up there for one of the better arcs in the genre. So many shocking unexpected moments and so many things I predicted that never ceased to exist. So glad at the conclusion no death of Shalnark or even Feitan. Was crying over Pakunoda though and Chrollo's lost nen abilities, but at least Phantom Troupe still hanging on. I wonder if this means they will stick around, or maybe a future plot point will be they help the main protagonists. That would be good. I loved how this arc went from one of revenge to now an underlying theme of friendship and trust for both sides, Pakunoda following orders cause she trust and wanted to protect all of her partners, Gon and Killua trusting Kurapika, and Kurapika putting his friends safety and such first above his revenge (though he was the cause of the whole situation anyway). I wonder if there were more fights what would have happened and who would prevail. Gon and Killua though do need to train some more since they were bested by a few members. They were awesome in suits, reminds me of when in Reborn the Vongola had to wear theirs for choice, shonen characters must at least wear suits at least some time in their anime, should be a requirement. |

This is what makes me love this series though. The combination of Madhouse's animation and the excellent storytelling make for a very awesome anime. I can't get enough of this show at all. Really nice ending to a brilliant arc. And to be honest, I do remember the original anime to spend more time here, but I personally don't really mind. I got used to the current style and have no complaints whatsoever, it's just pure genius on all fronts. |

| A bit fast paced, what was that 60 manga pages in one episode? Probably a lot of interesting content was dropped but I would have to brush up on the manga in order to recall what because I simply don't remember the end of this arc well enough. Overall a good arc, some things better than the old version, other things worse. Best arc of this version by far. |

| Aww, that was amazing! And heart-warming at the end... I'm so happy at how things turned out. So nicely done. Great end to an absolutely amazing arc. It was funny when Hisoka got trolled though with the fight. xD Lolz, I feel bad for Chrollo though.. I hope he can get back his Nen sometimes. And I'm really sad this arc is over... it was so breathtaking, I feel like the show can never reach these epic climaxes again.. Maybe I'm wrong though, we'll see in the Greed Island Arc ^-^ |
