I just wondered what the majority of MAL does work wise.
I myself am an Enforcement Officer. It's a good job and I get paid about 8 pound an hour :D
What about you guys?

Edit: Pound sign doesn't work -_-

I was a waitress in a nightclub and I really liked my job but I had to quit because it was hard to work so late. Because I worked at night, I didn't have time to be with my boyfriend (who works during the day/afternoon) and it was impossible to wake up early to do the things that I like.
So now I'm working at a clothing store and I finally have a normal schedule. Even so, I will miss the tips... :P

I used to be a designer/CAD technician and general-purpose IT guy for a civil engineering company. Then I decided to try the whole full-time student thing. That didn't suit me well, so now I'm unemployed. The plan is to get back into that first one after the end of July and then do the student thing later part-time.

Senior teller for a bank. Not exactly a fun job at times, and not what I wanna do with my life but it pays the bills and puts food on the table and anime in the dvd player hehe.

to put it simply, I am a soldier.. But if a military person was to ask me what I was it would probly go something like this

Them: Whats your MOS?
Me: 74D.
Them: Whats that?
Me: a Chemical Opperations Specialist.
Them: *stares blankly*
Me: NBC.
Them: Ahh!

Basiclly I am responcible for all of the CBRN(chemical, biological, radation, nuculear) equipment in our company, aswell as training of personall, advising the commander in case of a CBRN attack, and keeping up with all of the current CBRN threats. Needless to say its an under appreciated job up untill something happes then everyone expects the world of you *shrug*...

Do any ofyou get any kick ass perks in your jobs?
I get a company phone which is totaly unmonitored and on contract so I don't ever have to pay for phone bills or anything :D
I also never have to wear a seatbelt while I'm working and I write up my own time sheets. !'m never watched so not even my boss knows what hours I work. I also pick when I have my breaks and how long I have :D. I'm in control of 3 other people too.

ehh i dont really have a need for a company phone because my father takes care of my bills for things, (besides we sell sprint and Cingular...i use verzion!) But all eomployees do get 50 % of anything in store or online (including ipods and lcd, plasma tvs) I only ork about 6 hours a week though soo writing up a time sheet would be a hassel for me...you sound like you have alot more responsibility in your job than i would ever want out of mine :P

Kickass perks? The biggest one for me is that I don't have to show up, being unemployed and all, though it sucks not getting paid. =P

Seriously though, in the past I've had some good ones. Free beer during and after work is always nice. I've worked at two places where we'd often have a few cold ones in the afternoon, and once for my birthday some of my coworkers took me out to Boone (the town where they went to college) and we spent the whole day getting paid to barhop. Also at the same company, some of my coworkers were given company trucks and allowed to drive them home, which is an excellent perk.

I also used to work for an awesome guitar shop back in high school, and they had pretty good discounts. I didn't play when I was there, but I got into it afterward and the owner still gives me good deals on the more expensive stuff since we're friends. And he's always given me good advice on gear and such too. Good times.

Hmmm, how to describe my job without *really* describing my job?...

Let's just say that I review claims for accuracy, provide support & answer bunches of questions :) My job title is Auditor, but not *that* kind :P

As far as perks go, we have a pretty good 401K plan (matching contributions @ 50%) and lots of paid time off the longer you work there (10 years now for me).....good for taking time here and there for anime marathons ;)
You've come a long way, baby.
