Adding a YouTube video
To put a YouTube video on MAL, you have to get the last part of an YouTube URL, the last part that comes after the ?v=. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJdWoU4i2Mg would be [yt]qJdWoU4i2Mg[/yt] . Though it happens that theres something else after the part of the URL we want, like: &feature=related, this part needs to be left out.

Adding non-breaking spaces to your text (Does not work in blogs!)
To add a non-breaking space to your text you have to do the following. Enter your text mark the places you want to have a non-breaking space and post it.
Now edit it, and all the places you wanted a non-breaking space replace them with &#8194 or &#8195, first one is en-space second one is em-space. Now preview your edited text, the previewed text should look wrong, but if you look in the edit box, everything should look ok there. Save it and now you have non-breaking spaces. Just like this:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  
•  SOFTWARE
  
•   Microsoft
  
•    Windows
  
•     CurrentVersion
  
•      Uninstall
  

Write BBcode as normal text
I guess some of you might have though how you can write in BBcode without it be formatted by MAL. So here is what you have to do:

1. Write your BBcode
   
2. Insert [i][/i] after all the [ and before the /
   
3. Save
   
4. Profit
   

For example if you are trying to show your friend how to add a YouTube video to his profile. You write:
[[i][/i]yt]qJdWoU4i2Mg[[i][/i]/yt]

The result will look like this:
[yt]qJdWoU4i2Mg[/yt]
It gets messy pretty fast, but it works!

Types of lists and indenting the lists
There are two different types of lists you can use. You already might know them both from the BBCode Help.

These are the following lists you can use:

• two

[list=1]

1. one
2. two

The smart thing about these are that you can combine them in more levels, just like this:

• Level 1.
  
• Level 1.
  
  
  
  
  • Level 2.
    
  • Level 2.
    
    
    
    
    • Level 3.
      
    • Level 3.
      
      
      
      
      • Level 4.
        
      • Level 4.
        
        
        
        
        1. Numbered list.
           
        2. Numbered list.
           
           

Though you can see after level 3, the bullets don't change, have that in mind. Now you are probably thinking, how do I do this?
Simple! Just don't close the [list] tag and write a new one inside. Let me illustrate:

[list][*]Level 1.[*]Level 1.
[list][*]Level 2.[*]Level 2.
[list][*]Level 3.[*]Level 3.
[list][*]Level 4.[*]Level 4.
[list=1][*]Numbered list.[*]Numbered list.
[/list][/list][/list][/list]/list]

The only thing different from normal separate lists is that you close all the lists at the end, and not after every list. Also you can combine the two types of lists as you want.
