| Yeah, Regulus is just as scary as he was back in season two and just a couple of episodes ago for that matter lol. Someone, Subaru specifically, NEEDS to come and save Emilia quick. But yeah, picking up right where we left off last episode, with Subaru and Gluttony coming face-to-face. Action was fun to see, but pretty short lived, as Julius takes over while Subaru and Crusch go and confront best girl I mean, Lust. And it's pretty clear that the staff over at White Fox very CLEARLY have a bias (I do too after seeing her step on Crusch's chest ( ͡°( ͡° ͜ʖ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ʖ ͡°) ͡°), should've been me) when it comes to Lust because my god were her face expressions this episode brilliant. Aoi Yuuki snapped as well, she's the perfect seiyuu for someone like Lust. But while I very much enjoyed the whole scene with Lust and Subaru, it's very, very, VERY clear that Subaru didn't, if anything dude was being tortured from beginning to end rip. Subarus seiyuu also popped off this episode, wasn't just Aoi Yuuki. That's besides the point, because while that whole scene was cool and all, we got a switch to Anastasia and Kiritaka of all people lol. For good reason as well though, because out of FUCKING NOWHERE SIRIUS POPS BACK UP???? Hetaro the GOAT though, and letting them run away while he fights Sirius. Then we switch back to the whole ordeal with Reinhard and Felt, which I felt was kinda overlooked last episode because of how crazy it was, but thankfully it got the spotlight this time around, with MA BOY OTTO coming in clutch and letting Reinhard take care of Heinkel finally. Shit is getting serious REALLY fast because a whole FUCKING FLASH FLOOD HAPPENED AT THE END???? Meanwhile, this dude Subaru STILL has the rest of his leg amputated. Another banger episode man, I'd say the best so far just because of the whole Lust scene, for more reasons than one. |

| Some LN Extra Details (Volume 17 Chapter 5.5-5.7, Volume 18 Chapter Prologue-1.1 & Chapter 2.4 ) Differences from LN - Capella slice her hand with her other hand instead of biting it - Capella's blood is described as pitch black, but shown as purple-ish in anime - I'm not too sure on this, but I think the Felt scene is explained as an short offscreen in LN, but shown directly in anime. Although the scene jumps quite a lot when compared to LN, even i struggled to put things in for this episode, the pacing was intense and still feels really nice and satisfying. Hope that the future episode keeps being this consistent. - I'm not going to write much this episode and just savor it this week. |

| Yikes, Regulus may want to go the proper length and actually marry Emilia just with his other wifes and you can say that he loves all his wives, but that smug of his and Emilia's discontent and confusion over the entire situation made it seem like he's some creep who kidnapped her and is about to condition her to accept him as her husband. Oh wait... That's exactly what he did... Different name from the previous Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, twin brothers can have the same witch authority? Anyways, the old Subaru would've 100% charged head first into fighting Roy and perhaps die, how amusing it is that Julius, the same person that Subvaru impulsively fought and got humiliated by in S1, is the very same person to hold Subaru back and remind him to focus on his objective. Aaaand here she is, Capella Emerada Lugunica, the creepy, hyper-freaky and bratty💢 Sin Archbishop of Lust... From the moment I saw her in the OP, I've been looking forward to her making a formal appearance in the episode with her default form and holy hell does she looks UOOOOGHHHHHHH😭😭😭💢💢💢. Even the way she acts is insane, figuratively and literally. That doesn't make her less of an enemy though, her cruelty of transforming others into hideous creatures is such an antithesis to her self-proclaimed philanthropic stance on not wanting to kill others. However, that just means she's a massive sadist who enjoys the 'love' and attention others have for her as they all watch themselves be cursed by the vile tainted blood that Capella has. And frankly, to be turned into something that you're not by simply coming into contact with her blood is the very epitome of nasty, she's a nasty girl alright. Honestly... Someone, something, anything... Please let my man Subaru die, please give him the chance to recollect everything and revise his strategy in the next loop... This arc is immensely more complex and difficult than any of the others, with so many allies and friends that Subaru wanted to keep safe, yet with the presence of not one, but 4 different Sin Archbishops along with the untold numbers of townsfolk at risk... Absurd. |

| As much as I think Lust should look and behave differently(the shapeshifting along with spikes of insanity and sadism are cool tho, Aoi Yuuki is killing the role. Great episode yet again. Things are looking pretty bad right now. And dude, Regulus getting off a spiritual virgin when he has a whole ass harem is some peak hypocrisy. Creep ain't enough of a word to describe him. |

| It all seems hopeless at this point, Capella is here! Problems are popping up everywhere for the characters, with Emilia being "married" to Regulus now, and the fights are still going on all over the city, but most notably, Subaru and Crusch came face to face with Capella. Aoi Yuuki did a fantastic job of voicing her, really selling that crazy nature of hers to the greatest extent. It might the most psychologically tough spot for Subaru to be in, especially when Capella can just shape shift to mess with Subaru's brain. He is definitely going to have to reset and regroup here, because my, that was a mess for him. Things really ramped up as well when the city started flooding at the end too. Best episode so far in my opinion. Capella is really commanding the ship right now. |
| They played both the OP and ED in this episode. That's how you know they mean business. Aoi Koga (Komi, Kaguya) voicing Regulus' wife no. 184 is batshit crazy. Even minor supporting characters get high-profile VAs. Regulus still being the insufferable yet still lovable (in a twisted way) asshole as always. But holy moly, the highlight in this episode was absolutely Capella... The animators absolutely went hard with those facial expressions. I'm sorry White Fox... I'm not gonna talk shit about you anymore. And of course, Capella-chan's VA Aoi Yuuki also went absolutely hard with the voice acting once again. I love it when the animation and voice acting come together like that. The end result is just perfection. I wonder if she'll go viral like Echidna did when Season 2 aired... Albeit for different reasons... Like that scene of Capella stepping on Crusch's boobs... Subaru lost his leg and then thrown into the flood. He is absolutely cooked. This whole episode was absolute insanity and I can't wait for the next episode.  |

| The facial animation was peak this episode, and coupled with Aoi Yuuki's sheer talent, Capella has been brought into life. You'd think she's the most goofy archbishop, but... Crusch deserves better, but no good person goes unpunished... White Fox are GOATs for this, and it the two month break will be a torture (and ample time for anime onlies to willingly get spoiled). |

| WHAT AN EPISODE. 10/10. I'm satisfied with what White Fox gave us in this episode. Regular Corny Ass is the one who knows how to say sorry. It's a good thing that Emilia is a pure or innocent girl who is immediately liked by Rugulus. Ah Sylphy looks beautiful in anime, very curious about how her role will be in this arc. Oh My God. the introduction of Capella's power is so cool, AOI YUUKI I don't know how else to glaze over her again and again. there are no words that I can say anymore with how cool Aoi Yuuki's performance is in this type of character. She always manages to make me scared of characters like Capella. Capella's various expressions in this episode really made my brain tremble. Crusch oh Crusch what a pity you keep getting attacked, whether this is called bad luck or fate, but being stepped on by Capella is something that people like me should love so if I can change Crusch's position and change it to me it's okay I don't like seeing Crusch getting hurt all the time, it should've been me not her. Subaru lost his right leg now, I really don't know how this timeline will go well or not but it seems that if Subaru dies now and he Returns by Death is used I wonder where his checkpoint is. Capella wanted Subaru to admit that he must have thought lewdly of the woman he loved. In this scene VA's performance is outstanding. Capella turned into the woman Subaru loved, Emilia, damn Rieri didn't want to lose in VA performance, I heard Megumi shouting Explosion lol. Can Subaru still love the person he loves if that person turns into a fly? If it's Rentarou from 100 Girlfriend's, it must be possible, but Subaru? I wonder. Anastasia seems to have escaped. Felt tells Reinhard to help what's going on outside and it looks like Reinhard will get a fight, or should a strong man like Reinhard be put on the bench? I wonder where Priscilla is now and really hope she gets a decent amount of screen time this season. Garf was hit by flood water and bounced away from Willhelm, Subaru has really exceeded his limits, I wonder how he can continue the fight if he doesn't die until later. Credit scene showing the city of Priestella destroyed by the flood, the visuals are really cool. All the VAs in this episode go insane, the VA cast of Re:Zero is truly one of the best, even Regulus' wife No. 184 is filled by Aoi Koga. .Really waiting for how White Fox will continue to cook again, see you next week.  |
