| Bocchi's dreaded nightmare is back: the school's culture festival. And her class is doing a butler and maid café, which does not slide well with her. She would preferably be performing in a band, which her desire to be fawned at, has her application form filled out by her very own hands. Freakish Bocchi! Collapsed Bocchi still not feeling fine even with Kita around, and word must not go out of her application form since she barely ever performed at a concert before. If she ever went for one, she would be hiding at one corner...so not happening. AT ALL. Asking other people for help, both Nijika and Ryo have their experiences, though it varies if applied to the culture festival, and it would be best for Bocchi to give it another thought for the others. But before Bocchi could ever had a chance to think, Kita just submitted her application form...which the Mona Lisa effect is oh-so-oerfect. Hiroi drops by for some encouragement in the form of her own band SICK HACK's gig invitation, though her funds are consistently wasted due to her breaking everything. Oh well, at least Bocchi got what both Hiroi and Ryo owed her, and the trip down to Shinjuku shows her members of 37-year-old manager Ginjiro Yoshida, along with drummer Shima and guitarist Eliza, who's an otaku with the Slow Loop keychains. Time for the psychedelic rockafella gig, and it impressed Bocchi. Hiroi filling her in with her experience, and it helps her ease her anxiety. Yelp, it's high time that Ryo learnt her lesson off-loading on Bocchi, with a single fry as compensation. And as Kessoku Band readies for the culture festival, Kita's adamant submission helps Bocchi step out more, and it's a welcome improvement. Bocchi, where did you go? Disappear into the abyss? |

| One thing I learned from this episode is that the drunk lady is super awesome and so is her band and how she performs. I was happy to see that Bocchi was happy and influenced by her performance. It was great to see that. Ryo not getting food was cute and her stomach was grumbling hard. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| It was good to see Hiroi again. She's easily one of the best characters of the show. Nice Picasso and The Scream. x3 Slow Loop. <3 |

| The whole episode is pretty much a setup for Bocchi's mental and building her confidence, really solid episode overall. Kita seems like a character that will play a major role later in the show, it feels like she understands Bocchi the most. A solo for Bocchi and (new?) 4 songs? I'm hungry for some greatness already, really curious to see how it will turn out. |

| I swear I never stop grinning whenever I watch this series. Bocchi is just too good. I like how Bocchi doesn't just immediately change her mind about doing the performance like most anime would and chucks the form in the bin. That part of Kita towards the end with Bocchi was adorable as hell. Its so nice seeing bocchi more upbeat with a positive expression. Of course Bocchi disappears at the end hahahaha! |

| The show does tend to tone it down in the comedy department occasionally, but that's a good cost since it usually means more character development for Bocchi, and that's always a good thing. It's culture festival time, and Bocchi's class is doing a maid cafe, much to her chagrin, but there's also an opportunity to perform of the second day of the festival, which Bocchi wanted to do, but just couldn't bring herself to submit the form. Kita saw the form in the trash can, and knew she threw it away, yet submitted it anyway. Cue the Mona Lisa face! Bocchi needed some inspiration, so leave it to Hiroi, and her own band SICK HACK, to do that! The music sequence was well done combined with Bocchi's inner thoughts. The impactful part was after the concert where Kita apologized for submitting the form, but little did she know, that was exactly the push Bocchi needed to get her out of her comfort zone, and do what she truly wanted to do. The disappearance of Bocchi sparks some questions, but more than likely, we'll see her in a maid outfit next time, as she rolls in pain doing maid work... |

| The pre OP scene was hilarious. Glad to have more of Hiroi, she's really fun to watch. Her concert was lit too, need more of that. Also looking forward to their cultural fest performance. |

| I would have never thought I would hear psychedelic rock in anime. I need to hear the whole song of Sick Hack, not just the part that was played in the anime. I hope they will upload it on the youtube soon. |

| This episode was fantastic. Bocchi’s reaction to seeing Onee-san’s live performance was so well portrayed. Also Kita admitting she handed the form in against Bocchi’s consent was both unexpected and sincere. But they all know it was the right decision. I love these characters and how human their struggles come across despite lots of it being played for laughs. Anyone else missing Kessoku Band already, despite two more episodes being left? 🤧 |
| Decent episode, was a little bored at times but by the end, did manage to like it somewhat. Hiroi's gig was dope and it was also nice seeing her encourage Bocchi like that with her own experiences in her past as a fellow introvert at some point in her life previously. |
| That was one hell of a dream that Hitori had there. But one that I guess is normal for any musician. Its funny in that she's being brave without being conscious about it. But the manager's right in that during one's high school years one should try and do what they want before entering the adult world. Way to go Kita though for ensuring that the band will perform. The members of sickhack sure were a curious bunch. Guess they balance out Hiroi. Their performance was pretty unique though. But the push that it gave Hitori cannot be overstated. Looking forward to seeing the culture festival but looks like they have to form a search party first lol. |

| Really good episode, I love the new bar place. Hopefully we see more of the band and the manager. Also I loved the Slow Loop reference on the keychain. Can’t wait for the school festival. 5/5 episode. Amazing all the way through |

| This anime is too good, I've said it before, but it completely fascinates me in every aspect and each chapter is simply equal or better than the previous one. I look forward to every Saturday, they're incredibly joyful and fun! |
