| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, first half felt kinda slow but it was mostly the aftermath of what Mard Geer did. Speaking of which, I think he initiated a bounty on Lucy? Damn... Nice to see Aquarius' appearance this episode too. For some reason, I didn't really feel bad for Lamy's death at the hands of Jackal. This episode actually sets up the upcoming episodes well in terms of fighting against Tartaros imo. The most climatic part of the episode imo is when Aquarius' key is broken by Lucy to summon the Celestial Spirit Key. What an entrance!  |

| This episode really made me curious about Layla, as she also able to summon 3 celestial spirit. Didn't expect Aquarius having to sacrifice herself like that, the flashbacks and just seeing her bond with Lucy, and how they can't see anymore induced quite the amount of feelings. Well, looking forward to watch the Celestial Spirit King being worth his price. But that trump card is too cruel. |

| Even though I knew it was coming I fucking cried. The music, the flashbacks, everything was so amazing. I always forget that Lucy is the main but with this it really shows why she is the main character. HYPE TRAIN!!!!!! for next week for Celestial King vs Mard Geer. |
| I teared up so bad when Lucy broke her contract with Aquarius... The flashbacks made me feel nostalgic and I felt like sobbing into my pillow. At least Lucy got the spotlight big time in this episode. Looking forward to next week. |
| Well A-1 did this episode freaking justice. Holy crap the tears. Aquarius being sacrificed to summon the Celestial Spirit King was even more tragic in the anime than in the manga because of the extra foreshadowing and build up the anime did with her and Lucy. Next episode hype, Mard Geer Vs. Celestial Spirit King! |

| The Feels in this episode were too real! A-1 did not disappoint at all. Definitely one of my favorite episodes from fairy tail 2014. And both Lucy and Aquarius FTMFW! I've never loved them more. Looks like next week is hype as well. |

| Confession: Tears were present. Have they been adding in new OSTs? It seems to me that whenever a badass scene happens (Wendy kicking Ezel's butt or Lucy opening 3 Gates), they just reuse the Main Theme over and over and over again. Or are my ears just super bad? |

| Really do like the flashback of Lucy summoning Aquarius from the fish bowl as a kid. Recycled scene but dem feels still there. Overall, I feel like they're just gonna do some magicmumbojumbo and she can get another key or something. |

| Literally best part of this arc is here. One of THE strongest keypoints of this arc that reaffirms Lucy's role as one of the two main characters and as the sole protagonist of the story. I was waiting so hard to see how they do Lucy's scenes and A1 freaking delivered. Lucy holding her own, summoning three spirits to hold off three demon gates and then sacrificing Aquarius key to summon Spirit King was brilliantly handled, especially with all the additions in anime that built up their relationship till now(every time anime had an anime-original Aquarius scene last year I was like "Uh oh I see what you doing here"). Feels were had, tears were shed. the moment when Lucy is crying the key breaks and CSK just fucking destroys the whole Tartaros base in one swipe is such a powerful embodiment of the emotions felt for Aquarius sacrifice. If next week has the level of quality of this one, it will be even better. 10/10 |

| Finally the episode we all been hyped for! Even the studio knows, man! I was so hoping this would get a better budget and it did. So so so glad! Lucy is fighting with her everything, oh God. That Lucy Kick! When she opened the 3rd key, I was just so. proud of her. This girl has grown to be so cool and just perfect. I am so proud of you, Lucy! Ah man, Aquarius is here! When Jackal blew Lamy's face... the despair was real. It came as sudden as in the manga. Aquarius... I can't deal with it. It's as strong as in the manga, the feels, everything... I am so gonna miss Aquarius and Lucy's bond. Be strong, Lucy. And ladies and gentlemen, this is the animated ver. of the best chapter of the manga. I hope the Lucy haters learn their lesson and never come in the discussions now. Most of them don't understand her character anyway. This is the reason she is the MC. She is the reason everyone would be alive beyond these events. It's all thanks to her. |

| Best episode of Fairy Tail (2014). Lucy got her spotlight and dam were the feels were real this episode. Those extra flashbacks made it worst :( CSK vs Mard Geer hype next week! |
| Didn't feel that much tbh, mostly because I didn't like Aquarius that much... But DAMN that entrance is fucking big! Guessing shit's going down! Definitely one of the better episodes this season |

| What an awesome episode! Loved seeing Lucy get the spotlight this episode. Those flashbacks...damn, the feels. The CSK knows how to make an entrance. Can't wait to see the battle between the two kings next week!! |

| It's very bad when we have to deal with the lost of someone. It was a shame Aquarius but at the least I appreciated a lot your company during the all episodes. :( |
