Laptop computer designed for the MacWindows EXP operating system @_@.
And enter the FroggyDoc (Gekota?!?)!
Kuroko's phone with the rollout film screen is amazing.

Saten-san = x_X.

The first half of my stream was soundless and horrendously laggy, so I probably missed a lot, but it looks like Saten-san (and her lvl-0 friends) have gone down due to usage of the level upper. The scene with Uiharu reminiscing her times with Saten-san was a nice touch, and you could visibly see her determination to do whatever it takes to catch the culprit and get Saten-san to wake up again. Then she finds the Synesthesia report sticking out of the drawer...
Meanwhile, Mikoto and Kuroko get a lead on the case with the help of their senpai. I liked the scenes between the two of them, especially the one before the end, where Kuroko was telling Mikoto to let Judgement to do the job, but Mikoto says something to the effect of "You're my kouhai, right? So leave it to your onee-sama!"

Next time: "Kiyama Sensei." Looks like we're reaching the end of this arc in a couple of episodes.

So they all used rare candy and Saten can control wind.. and collapses. Kinda different from what i imagined.

Enter Dr. Gekota and the Theory of Interconnected Networks. The latter making only remotely sense. But that's no wonder if you look at the crazy mastermind, it probably shouldn't be.

Let's hope those two less gifted protagonists will be up and running again soon. Especially Saten she's the soul and i don't accept an IP-conflict taking her out.

Distributed computing with brainforce, sounds strange first but in the end everything makes sense. The whole talking about AIM, introduction of Kiyama and such was prepared carefully.
Wonder how strong Kiyama will be next episode, preview let's guess she will power-up a lot.

Hope the next arcs will be as good as this.

Saten-san =[

Great episode. There were hilarious parts, like Uiharu bandaging Kuroko, and how people stared at Uiharu in the street when she was talking to Saten.

Did anyone else notice that the level upper gave Saten and her friends all the same power? (They all had levitation or something right?)

Also lol at "Real Gekota!" and the fact that the doctor is another crossover from Index.

I felt bad for Uiharu too, what with blaming herself for Saten-san's coma. The Stripping Lady's kind/wise words were unexpected as well. But I guess they turned out to be a lie, since she was the culprit XD

HAHA Uiharu won't answer about her flowers, even when asked about them. I wonder what The Stripping Lady's goal is though?

Can't wait for the next episode!

The level 0s all got levitation/wind abilities.

Also; under this current theory people wern't having their powers increased, but receiving powers from anyone in a coma. (Saten is still a normal level 0, and would probably still be able to use magic.)

Heh, that was a nice plot episode with funny parts included too... I haven't read the manga but this looks like it'll get pretty interesting.

Also anyone else notice that the production people like to use extremely technical terms? Especially in the episodes where we hear them giving lectures on quantum theory et cetera.

I feel so bad for Saten, it must be awful coming to a place where you think you'll make it big, and then you don't, but all your friends do. Misaka is one big shadow to her, and I totally understand it, and it made me feel for her in this episode.

At the same time, the drama and suspense were mixed well, I had NO IDEA that she was the one behind all this, I mean, she always was a shady character but I thought that just made her all the more interesting. Now I know the next episode will be great! To think this all started with some freak blowing up soda cans? xD

As the saying goes "easy gain, easy loss"

Though I must say it's quite a genius idea to manage and connect all those brains subconsciously, and then to figure out just how to utilise all that extra power.
Seeing how she seems to have a hard time to focus on the "now" tho, I guess it's not without it's drawbacks you gain this power. Or that Harumi could possibly just be a nutter =P

Anyway Kuroko's kickass action in the beginning was great and the part where she teleported Uiharu on top of Mikoto was hilarious, god I laughed so hard at that part xD

Hope we get to see some real epic battlers in the episodes to come :D

Amazing episode.
Uiharu and Saten's phone dialogue was very endearing and charming.
I dug the whole explanation on Level Upper's true purpose. It seems so complex, yet they made it easy to understand.
I knew that there was something ominous about Kiyama, but I never knew that she would backstab everyone out of nowhere.
And I really wonder what exactly Uiharu's true ability is. I hope the next episodes remain this good.

Holy exposition overload, Batman! But it was -fantastically- paced so I have only compliments.

When Uihara first tried calling Saten early on, I wondered if they would be unable to connect to each other before the Level Upper Crash set in. How perfect was the lonely piano music? But it led to one of the most endearing moments of the show and easily Uihara's strongest moment yet when finally they did.

Times like these when a show hits such a incredible chord... the fact it's 24 eps long seems like a dream.

It was pretty obvious that the undressing lady was the culprit, the OP already gave us a clue. Too bad she's going down, her undressing moments were hilarious. :( I wonder if she feels hot all the time because she's some kind of router between all those connected on the network.

Actually I didn't see them getting the same powers. One girl had telekinesis. The other had (arguably, it could have just been a trope) super speed. THe 3rd girl's powers were not shown.

As for Saten's power.... Remember they whole thing about creating your own personal reality and deriving your power from it? So Saten seems to have wind power... right? WRONG. Assuming she gets to keep it, Saten has obtained long range megure power!

Yeah the whole idea and how it was explain it was really good.
The undressing lady being involved was no surprise but i was not disappointed she is perfect for the role.

So they found the Level Upper being a song (I knew that since someone told me all I need to know) but the explanation about Testament confused me (guess a farmer is simple and not complex science person). I did like Shirai efforts to stop the chaos in the city because people got the level upper but her bruising was bad enough as she was a girl after all. Guess Saten and her friends using the level upper found to be stupid to have them get all the same ability more or less (wind and telepathy). Found it depressing the whole Saten/Uiharu talking but in the end it's true that you are who you are and need nothing more than being yourself. Found myself completely angry when Saten lost consciousness with her holding that charm from her mother. Find myself being a killer towards Kiyama and was wondering if anyone else wants to kill her because of what Saten suffered? Guess next episode will have some Kiyama VS Misaka....hope Misaka teaches her a lesson. Most saddest part and I really wish I could be there for Saten....because she is not defective but a person who would be a great friend.....
Was this guy in Index? He looks like the same doctor....
What is wrong with Kiyama's eye here? Part of her power? PM me a spoiler anyone that can

Wasabi said:

I think Uiharu's powers have to do with vegetation....those flowers are not normal on her....must be a clue to why they are always in good health. Yes?

That was something that added to the emotions and it was well done too. I would be determined to do something also if I were Uiharu but unlike her....I would fire my rifle if I had to.

Yeah Misaka was the best with the Kouhai line and so understanding of Shirai's wounds....was really nice because it was less ecchi and more emotional.

I don't get Network stuff. I do understand that computers can communicate between themselves with a protocol being the same and that accumulation of people will make something stronger. I don't get why have something to imitate Testament which is supposed to be some machine that stimulates with electricity the brain? What is up with that part? Why even have something made up to imitate that?

I know what it is and I tell you it's selfish and stupid but you can wait....I know so will not wait but will also not tell what it is.

In spoiler my anime list for now.

So what exactly is Uiharu's ability?

She can grow flowers out of her head.
Wrong! it is more than that....growing flowers will not help her in the next episode. I am hoping she can grow other things of vegetation state like vines that could grab Kiyama and choke her....maybe.

So I'm not the only one who got a bit pissed at Uiharu dodging the question
about the flowers? :P
I really want to know their purpose!

I like the vine idea though, would be pretty cool if she had druid like abilities and could control nature. Summon rampaging ents ftw :D

I lol'd
Sure, would be awesome, although it somehow would feel a bit stupid too.

You're as boring as always, eh?
Oh well, I'll be waiting until ep. 11 comes out.
And even if it's selfish, it could still be good you know.
For example, if I took over the world, it'd be selfishly done since I'd be ruling over it myself, but it'd be for the greater good, 'cause this world's gone bad.
Protip: I don't really check the forums anymore, so if you want something, take it on my profile.
Is it time for my long-awaited return to the forums? щ(゚Д゚щ) Nope™, probably not.

networking brains, what a darn nice idea.
Though the preview kind of makes me think this arc will end much too soon. :v

So they all used rare candy and Saten can control wind.. and collapses. Kinda different from what i imagined.
I saw Saten and one of her friends have telekenisis. The other had increased speed. I didn't see what her 3rd friend had.
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

(Saten is still a normal level 0, and would probably still be able to use magic.)

She wouldn't because she has gone through the process that was supposed to reveal her esper powers. Even if she failed, her brain has been tempered with and using magic would be fatal for her.

Can't help it :P
The Railgun author doesn't know himself and won't know until the Index author reveals it (yes, Uiharu is an Index character)

I didn't get angry when she didn't answer the question. It's only fair, the doctor wouldn't answer her questions. Tit for tat I call it.
I think many here forget that Uiharu is only a level 1, so the idea of growing vines would be ineffective, at best. She's not strong enough yet (if that is her esper power).
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?
