| I've loved seafood all my life including Sushi and I've only been watching anime for a little over a year. I used to say that anime fans were fags and losers to give you an example. Sushi is one of my favorite foods, but I only go out for it once a month 'cause it's so expensive. |

| If I hated it, I wouldn't eat it. I don't have much money to throw around, and since sushi is so expensive, I wouldn't waste my time if I was just eating it because I was an anime-freak. |

| Love seafood. LoveD sushi. Hate it now. Sushi was one of those things that are good once in a while, but when you're forced to have it so often with really bad quality ones, you get sick of it really quickly. |

| I like the taste of sushi. However, when I first tried sushi, they seemed to me the nastiest food. Then I tried them again a year later, in another restaurant. They seemed to me very tasty. It all depends on where and how they are cooked. My dream is to enjoy authentic Japanese sushi ^ _ ^ |
| I don't like sushi unless it's that california roll kind that you can get that doesn't have raw fish and stuff, although the kind with just the seaweed rice and raw salmon is pretty good too, I hate the kind with the big ball of rice with the big slab of tuna or salmon on top though. I'm more of a fan of good old pasta though. |

| I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite foods but I still like it, more or less. Although I must say that I tend to prefer the more western influenced kinds of sushi like the ones with chicken. Inarizushi is pretty good though. |
| I like sushi a bit, but I'm having to teach myself to eat it. My mother instilled a firm belief in me that since we're in the midwest, all fish here is old/tainted/not fresh, so I'm trying to overcome that. Especially since we don't have seafood, period, all that often, and when we do it's always cooked. |

| I, like many others have said, LOVE seafood. I grew up on the east coast in the US and was always near the ocean until recently. Ever since I was a wee little Dev, my favorite food has been seafood. I'm pretty landlocked now, but where I'm at, sushi is very popular and there are restaurants for it everywhere - even the grocery stores all have a sushi bar now. Which is awesome because my love of seafood definitely translates into a love for sushi. It's the cheapest and tastiest seafood I can get in this dry state. I think the only reason anime would affect my desire to have sushi is because when I watch the characters eat it, it reminds me how much I like it and then I want to go buy some. But I like it regardless of anime, not because of it. |

| I absolutely hate sushi. I'm no fan of seafood, despite growing up with it due to my Asian culture. It bothers me that everyone seems so obsessed with it though. Especially anime watchers. Though I've seen that people in general are obsessed with it. I think it's just because it's from Japan... okay then. xD But what bothers me even more than the fact that everyone "loves" sushi is that they always call sashimi, kimbap, and maki rolls "sushi" as well. I mean, come on, really? |

| not really amongst the list of fave foods, but it's not bad. :P since we have rice as staple food, eating sushi isn't a big deal as long as the seafood meat is cooked. I'm not a big fan of wasabi, though |
| i've only had crab/vegetarian sushi, and.. meh. shit was bland. i'd imagine that raw fish sushi is absolutely horrid. i wonder if weaboos just swallow their gagging back down when they eat sushi for the sake of their illusory 'japanese pride.' although, i <3 wasabi |

| What's funny is, Sushi is actually rarely mentioned in anime. I see Ramen, Nabe, Onigiri and Soba Noodles mentioned far more, but know of very few otaku who have actually eaten them, well sans Ramen. |

| It's essentially impossible to say sushi as a whole is bad, simply because there are so many different kinds. In general, I like a bunch of different kinds, and dislike a bunch. You should really get around to sample as many as possible before writing it off. |

| i tried eating nigirisushi before and it was so baad~ it was kinda sweet, sour and has many different taste.. i don't like those kind of weird flavors xD so yeah i dont like sushis :D but i wanna try ramen.. ill eat one when i go to the mall...there's this restaurant who makes japanese foods :D |

Sushi, too, is delicious, but I've noticed that your average weeaboo who wants to try it has no idea what they're getting themselves into so they order the salmon or something and gag on its strange, rubbery texture, when instead they should just start with spicy tuna tempura or unagi (eel) on their sushi, which is tasty as fuck and should induce no gagging sensations whatsoever. Even if they go about it the hard way, though, if people end up exposing themselves to foreign foods and acquiring new tastes I think that's only a good thing in the end. I enjoy food from everywhere in the world. Seriously. I'll eat fucking anything as long as it's healthy and tastes good. (Well, I might skip stuff like brains, intestines, and insects, but you get the idea...) |

| I enjoy sushi. It is in fact one of my favorite foods and I don't like it because I like anime and manga. I have respect for Japanese culture, but even if it wasn't Japanese, I would still love it.But it does bother me too when people claim they like something Japanese, when they only like it because they like anime. I don't think the fondness for anime should have anything to do with liking Japanese food. I am Asian and my mother cooks real Chinese and Vietnamese food for me, so maybe that is why I enjoy it so much. And I normally do not eat very salty or sugary foods, so I truly do enjoy the flavor of fish, rice, and seaweed by itself as opposed to having a lot of seasoning. Sometimes I even eat just plain seaweed paper and rice paper(used for springrolls) as a snack. I suppose it's because I have that type of taste for food that I enjoy it. And as for the soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi sides: I am asian, hence I love soy sauce. I love sour things, hence I love pickled ginger. I like the unique 'quick spicyness' of wasabi, hence wasabi is the bomb! |
