| I want second season! I just can't handle the end It was so fun to watch. Izaya and Simon, Shizuo vs Horoda, Kida and Saki?! The dollars are back... Shinra and Celty XD I NEED more Durarara!! T.T why did it have to end? |

| It was a very 'Durarara ending'. Very entertaining and fun. That's how this season has been, so I am not surprised how they gave up a very anti-climatic ending. However, the main points of the story did get wrapped up, so that was a plus. I don't think Celty's head really matters because she is fine living without it. Overall... 9/10 but for some reason, I wanted to give it a 10/10 because of its effort to be 'different'. |

And awww, CeltyxShinra xD Seriously, they're ridicilously cute in a very...weird...way. I agree on that. Otherwise a rather uneventful ending. But Simon gets bonus points for punching Izaya. I was very happy there. |

| Yea nothing special for an ending, I mean this anime was so epic in many ways well over halfway, but it kinda toned down quite a bit in the end. I dont hate the ending, it was nice and light hearted which is fine, at least they gave decent closure, but at the same time I guess I was either expecting or hoping for something more complex, darker and memorable. Oh well Celty in in a seductive manner is a pretty good consolation prize. In a way it leaves it open for a second season, but im not expecting it either, would be nice though. |
| Like many, including Izaya fans, I loved the hard punch Simon gave our mischievous informant. But I was kinda disappointed that the dialogue of their conversation didn't follow the novel--in fact, it wasn't even a dialogue in the novel, it was a monologue by Simon about Izaya being a coward and the mental strain it takes to kill a person. |

| I think I may have channeled all of my disdain for Izaya into that punch. I was so giddy. On the note of Shinra x Selty, I had been rooting for tyhem from near the beginning. I still love Mikado. In the last 5 eps. or so he found his way into my top 5 fave characters ever. Other then that I thought the ending was good, but not nearly as great as a show with so much potential could have dished out. 8/10 |
Well one thing I've learned from this experience, is that a princess is still a princesss even when she is naked. |
| Highlights of this episode: - Shizuo slicing the car. - Celty seducing Shinra. - Izaya getting punched by Simon. - Walker x Erika when they were sleeping on each other in Kida's hospital room. :D I'm very happy with this as the final episode, however I want a 2nd season so Celty can get her head back. D: |

People take it like it reinvented storytelling, but it's been overdone. I would never expect someone with an Umi Monogatari avatar to particularly care for Baccano. The two are pretty much polar opposites. It's my avatar for aesthetic purposes, why would you even compare the two? It's not even the same genre of anime and has nothing to do with this topic. |

| Awesome episode. They left it open to a second season while having a satisfactory ending (despite no bad-ass Mikado moments). A lot of moments when I felt a bit of euphoria like when Shizuo nearly decapitated Horoda and his gang, and Simon's punching Izaya. Aww, everyone is a happy couple...well, except for maybe Namie. Not a lot of endings satisfy my, but on rare occasions titles like Durarara!! come around and leave me wanting more. Although I wish for Celty to get her head back from that thieving Izaya douche...or his death; which ever comes first, either/or. |
| Despite it being an 'anti-climatic ending', it was an excellent ride throughout these 24 weeks. Celty's attempt to seduce Shinra in a sexy outfit, the story got wrapped up, more story goes on alongside Kida and Saki and the epicness alongside Izaya and Shizuo is enough to give me a 10/10. I'm also one of the people to expect a second season, but we may have to wait until Winter 2011 at the earliest. EDIT: I know that the series didn't go to a grinding halt. That's because we only covered 3/8 of the novels. I don't understand why people hate the ending when we only covered two major halves. |

| Great ending, fits very well with the laid back tone that makes the series stand out. It had everything that it should have: -first off the resolution between the 3 -Shizuo ROFLPWNING -Izaya finally getting decked -a nice Celty x Shinra moment, reminding us yet again that she is no longer concerned out finding her head |

| This show was great. I want more now. I hope for a second season with Mikado and Anri development...and I mean serious development. This show gets an easy 9/10 from me. If a second season comes out that is just as good and has MikadoxAnri development I may just give that season a 10 (that's if it comes out). |
| That was very lackluster... This anime really lost some steam about halfway through. There has to be something after this, because otherwise it just doesn't feel complete. Anyway, the important thing is this: Shizuo is an epic badass and Simon's punch was FANTASTIC. I've been waiting for someone to smack Izaya this entire time. Definitely worth the downer ending. |

| Best scene of the ENTIRE anime: that damn Izaya finally getting punched!!! Love you Simon, thank you so much! xD Really liked the Kida x Mikado x Anri best friends scene, twas cute~ I kinda wanted Kida x Anri to be a couple but Saki will have to do, it was sweet when they both said they loved each other in the hospital. Hope hope HOPE to god there's a 2nd season at least. It can't end like this! D: Kida Masaomi has to come back <3 |
| This episode felt a little different to the others, but it was still pretty awesome. The whole series was amazing, and I gave it 9/10 overall. (Which is as good as 10/10, since I don't give tens.) Second season pls! I need moar Shizuo and Izaya in my life. Edit: Upon reflection, I'm bumped it back down to an 8/10. |

KidaxSaki<333333333 Shizuo being insanely badass, and Izaya...oh god, for such a ginormous asshole he's so adorable xDDD ahhh and ShinraxCelty "I'm trying to seduce you" <333 I do hope there'll be a second series, but I doubt there will be. D: I think this was better than Baccano too. I understood this, for one thing-Baccano was an insanely fun ride but I didn't understand a second of it. The characters were better developed, too. |

And aside from that, the novels being ongoing doesn't change that I found the later half of the anime boring as hell. |
| I enjoyed this anime quite a lot. I thought the ending was a nice tie up. If it wasn't for the interesting characters I don't think I would have made it though. Still since it had them I am satisfied. |

| Oh it's over already. The ending wasn't really bad, it just didn't meet our expectations. But this kind of ending leaves speculation that a season 2 might be in place because there are some things left unsolved here. Overall, the ride has been great. This show is really different from the others shows nowadays and that's what makes is great and stand out. This gets a 10/10 from me, whatever the flaws of the second half is. Now waiting for the special episodes and hopefully a second season if DVD/BD sales are good. Light novel sales also looks good so I really hope there is :) |

| I'm so glad I held off and marathoned episodes 13-23 the last week just in time for episode 24, kinda like how I did the same for the first 12. I definitely enjoyed it a whole lot more marathoning it than I would have if I had to wait every week. Anyway, to me, this ending felt more like a big arc ending than a series finale. It also seemed like a typical DRRR/Baccano type happy ending, so I don't know why some people thought it would be sad or super dark. I definitely think there'll be a 2nd season, since the light novels are apparently selling more after the anime started, and most of the BD/DVD has been selling 12000+, which is pretty damn good for anime. Natsume Yuujinchou season 1 sold about that much and Brain's Base made a second season (speaking of which, season 3 where?!). |

| Yeah, okay, some of this episode just didn't seem right...I completely lost hype for this series during this episode. Not as much excitement as I usually have. Well anyways, I'm not much of a fan of Masaomi/Saki, but I guess it was still sweet. Though I was kinda surprised that they eloped. Best parts were definitely Izaya getting punched by Simon, and Shizuo being awesome. I really hope a second season comes out and makes the series more exciting like the first half was. I really want Mikado to have more awesome scenes. T_T |

| Well that obviously didn't feel like an ending. Which is good because it means that a second season is more likely unless they just didn't want to screw with the original material. Either way the show as a whole was excellent. My requirements for bumping anything from a 9 to a 10 means it has to have me emotionally attached or put me on the edge of my seat at least a few times, get me hyped between/before episodes. This show managed to do that. |
| I find that there were a lot of fanservice in the last episode :P . Celty's swimsuit and Shinra's gaga-ing (They're always cute ^^) . Kida's and Saki's eloping (Erm I don't get the idea of early 'honeymoon'? :X) . Izaya's Shizuo-complexity (Yep, for yaoi fans) . Mikado and Anri (Just hints of it) But I like the fact that: . Izaya got punched by Simon XD . Celty saved the day~ . The power of the traffic cops *nods* . Namie sort of 'bullied' Izaya :P . Kida joins the chatroom :D Whether you like this episode or not; I think it depends on what you are looking for. You will like it if a happily-ever-after ending (at least for now) is okay for you. But you will not like it if you are expecting action-packed excitement or a good coverage on the story plot (Celty's head is still on Izaya's shelf). Nonetheless, at least it is not a cliffhanger ending. Saves me a lot of torture, hehe :P Either way, I have really enjoyed this series on the whole~ :D Sigh, Durarara has ended and I really hope there will be a second season. T_T |
| Another great show comes to an end. Here's hoping for a great second season. Or at least some light novel translations. |
