If i recall correctly, that guy was one of the CB observers, so he may, he might not. Theres a greater chance that the pilot will be someone of Lockon's family like he wished rather then Nena at this point since she already has a Gundam and would probably suck at sniping >< |

| LOCKON!!!!!!! OMG when I saw Dynames get destroyed the inside of me was going "No...no.. they won't.. they can't.. they..." then I was relieved he was still moving around. But no! Then he left Dynames and I was thinking "Oh SHIT" again... and then bam! The GN ARMS got hit. And I was like "Nooo!" but then he was still alive! And Setsuna was coming! The last hope left, Setsuna save him Kira Yamato style. But then it exploded and I'm just like "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" That final scene with Haro going "Lockon..Lockon..Lockon" with 'Friends' playing in the background, everyone just going "No... way..." and Setsuna screaming is now one of the most epic and haunting scenes ever. Props to the production team for setting that up in such a way. There were tears in my eyes because of this, which is an achievement considering I normally don't cry over deaths in shows often. This episode even bested episode 22 in epic-ness. It was amazing, the animation, the music, how everything was set out. But I was not expecting to watch the death of a main character, and the one I like. That came as a huge shock to me when I was watching this episode and I realised that Lockon was going towards his death. I thought he wouldn't die after having been near death already. I'm guessing the twin (Lyle was it?) might take over the piloting. Since not everything about the Dylandy family has cleared up yet. Lockon's story isn't complete yet. I guess season 2 will shed some light. |

| Awww come on! How do you kill the show's coolest character??? I mean, the whole thing was done in an absolutely excellent manner, but at the same time I wonder if they were thinking. Celestial Being is a mass of angst and mental problems, and I SWEAR Lockon was the ONLY one (including Sumeragi, who's just one screw-up away from losing it...uhm. Wow. So. Zero screw ups away.) who seemed balanced at all. Without him well...they're liable to all go do a bunch of really stupid shit. :P Other comments: - Ali-Al Sarshes BETTER be dead. If they pulled a DBZ and let Lockon do a heroic sacrifice to take out the enemy, only for him to come back again Buu-style so the "main character" can take him down, I will be highly displeased. - If they replace Lockon with Nena, she will become another Suzaku in my eyes. - Trans-Am mode turned out to be a lot weaker than I thought. Three times the ability, but afterwards the suit is near worthless. And the "afterwards" appears to be only after 60 seconds or so. As things are it seems like the odds still aren't even, they're just slightly less against the pilots. Meh. - Only two episodes left. Hope they make them count. Also hope they either give us a decent ending to last till October. A cliffhanger like CG S1's would be very unimpressive. |

| After surviving against all odds in episode 22 I expected that Lockon would gain some sort of "state of grace" period that would make him more or less immune to dying until the end of the first season...turns out I was wrong. I hope that they don't replace him with Nena, though. |

In the last couple of years it seems like they've gotten so much more heartbreaking... Lockon wasn't even high on my list of favorites for this series and it had me in tears. I can't even imagine what the aftermath of something like this will be like... |

| I wasn't going to watch these episodes until Menclaves's releases were out but since Shinsen released their higher def. versions I decided to just go ahead and watch. Anyways this was a extremely dramatic episode and I guess Crystal's comment pretty much summed up my reaction as well lol, the ending was quite a tear jerker,.....Lockon..xP Well can't wait to see how this season ends! |

| I honestly never thought that I'll cry watching Gundam..... but this episode just absolutely did me in! My eyes were running taps, if i had not read Lockon's profile here in MAL, I'll probably be a waterfall! When Setsuna arrived, I seriously harbored some small hope that he might actually save Lockon in time but when the explosion happened..... *sigh* The worst parts for me was when he was just floating away, having that monologue and then he reached out and tried to touch the earth... He's just so alone.... and then when Felt wrote the letter and placed it in Dynames and asked Haro to find him..... man it was T_T Brilliant writing for the episode and for the entire series! |

| I kinda knew Lockon would die, because it's like a trend in mecha series, that the older-brother/mentor, easygoing, most awesome character always ends up dying (happened in GS, Eva, Fafner etc... ) DX and it sucks 'cause those are usually my fave characters ;__; ... so I was hoping it wouldn't happen to Lockon, but I guess the trend lives DX... yet for some reason, I think after this episode, I started appreciating him more, 'cause I suddenly got this urge to draw him XD ... And it's a pretty good death scene.. too bad I too think that stupid Ali dude survived DX .... I loved how he said "farewell, partner" to Haro before he left ;____; (LockonxHaro ftw!! I'm not sure if I'd like him though, I mean, even though he looks like Lockon (Neil), he's not him, and probably won't have same personality (and voice? dunno about voice, I love Lockon's voice).... it'll be awesome to see the other's reactions though, esp Tieria's XD. I also hope this Lyle person is explained... I dunno if he's Lockon's brother or clone. 'cause in Lockon's flashback of his family, Lyle wasn't there.. or maybe he just doesn't like him enough to remember him in his final scene? XD |

XD I remember this part during the earlier eps of the series when Lockon went to visit some graves and he sort of knew Lyle had visited as well. They were even dressed the same way, lol! Twins/clones whatever they are don't have to have the same hairstyles too, especially if they aren't even together most of the time. Anyway, miss Lockon! Yeah I agree, his voice is great, relaxing, somehow. |
