Nope.. I've never skipped episodes when I'm watching an Anime Series.... I don't want to miss the stories...

Well, maybe just fillers...

Haven't skipped anything at all, be it a filler, recap OR Endless Eight...

Oh, wait... I was kinda sleeping while ''watching'' Isshoni Sleeping.

I usually skip/skim episodes of animes that have more "stand-alone" episodes, that aren't directly connected.

Aaand filler. But even some of those might be enjoyable.

Almost never. I did skip the Wolf's Rain recap episodes the first time I watched the series, but I sat through them the second time around. I fast-forwarded through episodes 4-7 of Endless Eight, occasionally stopping to play a few select scenes. Other than that, I don't skip anything except for short in-episode recaps. Like the ones that play after the OP, but before the title screens in some shows. As for filler, I mainly avoid shows that are known for having it -- dropped Bleach and Naruto awhile ago, and I don't start long shounen series.

Oh, I do FF through transformation sequences and attacks in Magical Girl shows once I've seen them a dozen times or so.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

I usually skip recap episodes (aka clip shows) unless it's something that's airing. I haven't done so yet but I will skip most of Endless Eight when I decide to resume watching it in the future.

No must say never really. I'm kind of the type that would do that stuff, but i actually didn't xD. Eventhough it's hard to watch through a show, it's useless if your missing information (which you missed in a ep).

I've never purposefully skipped episodes from an anime. They were created for a reason, and meant to be watched, so I see it as I'm not getting the full experience of the anime without watching them, even if they are pointless filler. I do remember skipping some episodes by accident and wondering why I had no idea what was going on, but I can't remember which anime it was.

I skip fillers and recap episodes, I just want to get to the main story.

I use to 'jump' through episodes if I got bored of impatient, don't really do it that much anymore.

Sometimes for me it'll the episode will just stop playing in the middle of the episode (mostly with Baka to Test). If that happens, I just skip the rest of the episode. Or if it's a series where it's all random and you don't need follow up, then I skip stuff.

Usually when I get into a series I rarely if ever skip any.... I haven't yet to, and I hope I don't have to... unless they're fillers and are completely useless to the plot... I won't hesitate.

I skipped some Shugo Chara! episodes that didn't involve Hoshina Utau. Besides that, I think I would count hardly paying attention to an episode like skipping. I did that a lot in Tales of the Abyss!, because I would watch it during the mornings when I got ready for school. Also OVA's I'm not interested in, just this one OVA episode and not the other.

AND I didn't skip Endless Eight. w00t~

Lol.. if the video is broken, what else you could do aside from skipping it :P Well, maybe you could try to download that ep from the net... It would be bad if you miss the stories..

I only skip fillers as well, but only if I find that particular series' filler uninteresting. Most filler in stuff like Kenshin or Trigun kept me interested usually, however, when it comes to Bleach and stuff...

Hell, for series like Bleach, Inuyasha, One Piece, and Naruto, you might as well skip the WHOLE damn series if you're gonna skip fillers; they're never gonna get much of anywhere.

I never skip episodes, but I do admittedly tend to multitask a lot more during shows I'm kind of fading in and out of rather than on shows that are really catching my eye (I usually keep those on full-screen and devote 100% of my attention).

Yeah. I watched the first six episodes of Special A and then skipped to the last one. It ended as I spected and I was gald to had not wasted my time on such disgusting piece of... work.

Other than that if I do, it's involuntary or a mistake I tend to made naming the video files.

well, in bleach the only filler i have skipped was the one right in the middle of the fight... but i agree, most of bleach and naruto is filled with fillers, and i like most of them too, as long as they don't hinder the main storyline

No, I don't skip episodes. I skip series if they're not interesting. If I decide watch a series it's because I want to see it all, not just 'the best parts'. I don't watch (at least to my knowledge) series with fillers, and they are usually less than 26 episodes, so fillers aren't common in those (I guess).

Even during the re-watch of Suzumiya Haruhi I didn't skip Endless Eight. It's because there are moments/performances which are just hilarious that I didn't want to miss. I also like to spot the differences and see alternative clothing for the characters. ^^
I do understand if people don't want to see the same with just slight variations, so if you don't want see all of Endless Eight watch at least first, second and last since the first (and last of course) is very different than the rest of them.

And I skipped some To Love-Ru because some downloaded episodes didn't work. Didn't seem like I missed anything important/worthwhile though.

I only really skip if I've seen them before and am rewatching a series for the second run through, or if they are episode recaps where they just recap everything that happened last season. I hate those. Especially when I'm watching straight through so a recap is pointless. :/

Oh and I skipped the several seasons worth of filler that the Naruto anime did before Shipuuden. I'll eventually watch them, but at the time I was annoyed and frustrated so I just stopped watching the Naruto anime altogether.

Really? It was torture. Especially how it kept switching between Soul Society and the real world with that annoying princess sub-plot. The whole thing seemed so forced and pointless - which it was. The canon plot isn't any good these days either so that isn't very much of a compliment in my view. How can anyone see any merit in that arc? :P

The New Captain arc starts off real slow, boring, and pointless, but it builds up later on and, in my opinion, it actually gets good.
And yes, I agree. The canon plot needs --- a new plot.
