Surprisingly, I found the animation of this episode better than the usual. Maybe it's just my impression though.
The pacing for the episode was also better, but the anime still feels choppy. They just don't know how to present the dialogue, it's just one cut to the other, like we're reading manga panels (but this is not a manga).

The story on the other hand is making less and less sense. Like, so now Garou can withstand all those attacks because he's becoming a monster? For what reason? I thought that maybe he broke his limiter (like Saitama did, a concept they randomly introduced 2 episode ago), but apparentaly that's not it. So Garou is just taking all those attacks, and still continues like it's nothing. I wasn't expecting for the story to focus so much on him honestly.

So I guess we'll have to wait until next week to see how Garou is dealing with that big monster that was once human.

Garo awakening moment, he's in his rawest form yet, vulnerable but never give up. I almost want to thank Monster Association for grooming him to be this hot.

This episode is a rough diamond, a lot of cost-cutting techniques have been used, but at its core it's still a diamond. It needs to be polish here and there. But I'm already amazed at what JC Staff can do with only 10% of the budget compare to other big studios. Truly the master of efficiency. Truly the craziest decision to take on the most demanding job with so little reward and so many risks.

Oh, and the soundtrack in this episode is very strong, and the transition is much more smoother than previous episode that I complained. It's easily Miyazaki Makoto's best work yet.

I'm still cautious about the end result but I'm much more hopeful now. Next week can't come soon enough.

Sure I agree saying that this is bad and all, but will I harras them and say the bread is trash to the bakers who made it ? They will agree with me and be like “man I get you, even I wouldn’t eat that shit. We can do much better.” But regardless, they will pissed off at the trash talking. You know why ? Because they regardless of the result they worked hard and with just a bit more time, they would have made something even better.

So what I would do is shit talk the boss here who did nothing and sits his ass off giving orders to the bakers who made the bad bread.

I understand why people are disappointed, but regardless at least understand that the people who made this are humans. If you wanna be insufferable. Then don’t any of you dare say shit like “mappa treats their animators badly.” Stay on that side.
