Someone really needs to make a counter for how many times “Kamen Rider” gets said here, because holy man. I couldn’t even focus most of the time, these CDs are just awful. The overall aesthetic is truly horrendous. Feels like something straight out of the mid-2000s. The whole premise just screams mid-2000s. Delinquents show up to beat the ever living shit out of this guy... but he gets back up and shows them the power of Kamen Rider!
No, seriously. That’s literally what happens. And then he just goes ahead and beats the ever living shit out of them. What even dude LMAOOO. And then the girl he did all this for runs away because of how beat up... truly the backstory of all time, to say the least. Then we jump back to the present where he uses his Kamen Rider powers to beat the ever living shit out of a bear this time... xDDDDDD
Though that was him in base form, so imagine him at ultimate form with the mask on and everything... oh boy, that was peak locked in energy like we’ve never seen in anime. This is truly the Kamen Rider you absolutely do NOT want to mess with.
And man, visuals aside, which, honestly, only add to the comedy, this was a fire premiere. I actually can’t wait for more. Just hope this whole thing doesn’t get old too fast, though.

It's a common element in Ishinomori Shoutarou's stories about Jinzou Ningen for then to be "melancholic/lonely" characters, as technically their powers come from the same place as the villains, so they're often treated as monsters just as well. It's a reference to that. |

| Welcome back isekai red! Finally some more Toku anime. This was dope, Toujima represents all of us who grew up watching power rangers, sentai, KR, etc. We all wanted to be one and he just never grew out of it which is real af. Genuinely great guy, when I heard him give that speech about kids not being real members of societies because they don’t pay bills and therefore beefing as kids is pointless, I knew I’d love him. His parents should’ve been proud of him. “Oh it’s just a bear” Yea at this point I realized this guy’s the real deal. Can’t believe I just watched him take out a bear with just his elbow lol. That kamen rider mask was calling to him like the damn green goblin mask, finally got to live his dream and take out the goons at the festival, which was awesome btw. The animation, soundtrack and direction went hard af. Me and the bad bitch I pulled by never growing up.. looks like he’s going to start attracting other KR fans after this incident. This show is gonna get fun as hell I can’t wait! |

| @ZXEAN yeah, I was refering to some of the drawings, there are some parts were the proportions of characters stading still is fucked up, can't say the exact moment but there is a really short scene were Tojima is just stading there, nothing is happening, and his body proportions are all incorrect and over the place, looks so goofy 😂 But yeah fight scenes are great. |

| THAT'S AMAZING, I'M ON IT 100%!!!!!!! I didn't really know Karmen-Rider because I think we didn't have a diffusion of this in France; we got a lot of power ranger thing but not Karmen-rider! Edit: I do some research and I find that Masked Rider was diffused on TF1 (the biggest channel on TV in France) in 1996 ! |

| I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23. Slam Dunk Chapters 272 to 276 are a perfect stretch of manga. |
| Throwing away your KR stuff because society demands you to do it is the least KR/Tokusatsu fan thing I can think of. I wish I had more money to get more tokusatsu toys and equipment, I couldn't care less of what society tells me to do. And I'm old as the guy in this show is. |

The more I think of it, the less the guy selling his KR merchandise at random because he doesn't want to end alone (yet somehow he ends alone nonetheless) makes zero sense to speak of, particularly considering the kind of messages tokus throw at the viewer (perfect episodes 29/30 of Kyuranger I'm looking at you) and considering I'm pretty sure KR fans, particularly of the Japanese kind, would rather sell their own parents than their KR merchandise. If not for the fact that adult merchandise of tokus costs more than the entire life savings of older people. See the Ultra-expensive henshin belts, for example. This series definitely is not for me. |

@Anime-Otaku123 I was wondering the same thing about the time period. If he's 40 and was watching the original series at 5 or so, it would be the mid 2000's, so the smartphone doesn't make sense, but then I realized since he was watching tapes of the show as a kid, he wasn't necessarily born yet when the show aired. I think it's modern day, he just is fixated on the original series and doesn't care about any of the Kamen Rider shows that came after (even though Kamen Rider Black and Black RX probably were airing and very popular when he was a kid).
| @myrmidon_mamori it makes zero sense to speak of. He couldn't because at the time he was a kid KR went out of the TV. Toei took a long Hiatus until 2001 at least, they stopped producing everything for a decade. And the only reruns that were available at the time I think might have been of the Riders you wrote about, nothing else. And I fail to see how his mother might have been interested into the 1971 KR, it wasn't a particularly woman-friendly show to begin with. Nothing tells women-friendly less than the garbage anti women liberation shit a guy spouts at the very start of that show. |
