| Great conclusion! Tanjiro and co. said goodbye to everybody, there was some flirting with Tanjiro and some ladies, and then they went on their way (after being confused about trains). I love how they had to jump on the moving train - really a historical trope of this pre-WW2-era. And in the enemy's camp, there was some serious violence and gore, and we saw Muzan Kibutsuji's villainous nature for real this time. The body-swapping reminded me of both M. Bison and Naraku. I am so excited and amazed for the next arcs of Demon Slayer!!! |

| Actually fucking amazing! One of the best anime of all time! 10/10 first season. This is what Shounen is all about. I hope all the great works out there receive an adaptation as good as this someday. Akasaka-sensei approves! 👍 |
| so that's the Muzan I saw in a doujinshi about the anime, well, I thought it had a pretty visual, definitely a high production show. But for some reason, the animation sometimes feel so cheap and so boring, especially at the battle scenes. Is there a minimum requirement for a TV anime to be more than 20 minutes per episode? I thought there shouldn't be any need to prolong a fight just to meet "a quota". the anime can feel like a standard battle shounen at times, but I like the way it has some horror elements. Some of the demons are genuinely scary (the mansion arc came to mind). Tanjiro being this saint with a pure heart is (probably) a cliche, but I rather like it. well, I'm just hoping this decision to binge-watch the anime instead of reading the manga (I can read them much faster) to prepare for the new movie is worth it |

| This training arc has been mid, but the setup for Mugen Train is hype af. So far Demon Slayer is not doing rounds with my all time favorite shounens, but it has its moments and I understand the appeal. The Mounta Nagatumo arc is peak and thank god it happened because it totally turned around my opinions on Zenitsu and Inosuke. Overall the show's setup is huge, but part of me worries its gonna drop the ball like Fairy Tail, another shounen that set up big moments and mysteries then dropped the ball on every single one of them. importantly I've come to appreciate every character. Zenitsu would drive me insane if he wasn't so funny bouncing off Inosuke and Tanjiro's energy. |
