damn so that episode was way too quick of a watch! absolutely love rudo beating amos ass she deserves that. imagine seeing the person you love thats dead and thinking youre fighting your friends to fight them WHILE SHE LAUGHS i wouldve punched her to🤣

the ending with rudo and enjin was adorable i love how enjin is trying to be his friend more then a mentor because thats what rudo needs, he had a mentor. it's time for him to figure it out

also tamsys weapon was pretty damn cool, i forgot all about the spell, i knew they werent dead but damn 😅 i love his face change at the end there, so cute

overall a pretty damn good episode, glad amo wasnt fully unconscious so she could start talking right away to set the path for the next episode

Say what you will, it needed to happen. And she deserved it. I'm sure Zanka and Tamsy would agree. Keep in mind the creator of Gachiakuta is a woman, and I'm sure women who hate each other would do a lot worse if they could let loose.

Obviously violence is bad, but the shit Amo was doing was grimy. Rudo had perfect rebuttals to Gris defending Amo. Just a taste of what kind of MC he will be. Great episode! I was desperately awaiting it all week. Looking forward to cour 2, are we getting a new OP?

Does this mean Tamsy and Zanka don't have anyone they love in their past? Or at least not anymore?

What a satisfaction to see Rudo give her a few punches. She really pissed me off since her introduction. And after playing with other people's feelings while laughing, it would have pissed me off even more if she got away with it for free without any punishment.

I had to pause to take it all in, because I thought they would go the mundane route of not doing shit and just sweeping it under the carpet, thank goodness for Rudo's hands being rated E.

Y’all MC a woman beater? Yikes couldn’t be my goat. Amo might be a little mentally unstable, but she’s just misunderstood. Anyone that hurts her gotta go thru me. Other than the domestic violence, dope episode.

We got to see Tamsy in action who I’ve heard a lot about, his ability’s dope af. Also, we know there’s something more sinister behind Rudo’s anger issues now. He’s got some sort of darkness brewing in him that I imagine has something to do with his hands/ability, but what is it and why has it latched onto him? Wouldn’t be a shonen without the MC having some hidden force inside them that helps them be OP. I feel like him taking his anger out on amo is also him projecting what he wants to do to the girl who betrayed him as well.

Enjin smelling Amo’s boots is fucking killing me this show is so ridiculous.

Finally got some hint about the sphere/ground. Assuming the angel they’re talking about is actually an elevator allowing people to go back and forth. Interesting.

Damn, this episode surprised me.

I was half expecting this show to take the “revenge” route with Rudo, specifically a diet version of the “incel revenge plot” (Examples of some that have this are Shield Hero, Redo of Healer). Basically, protagonist gets “betrayed” or “humiliated” and a female character is at the forefront of it, either being a bystander or being the reason it happens. Then, That acts as the justification to “getting revenge” on them, specifically, ranging from living well to actively doing them harm. Which is then framed as the correct response. Once you see it, you realize how many shows play into the fantasy.

So I was happy when after Rudo took out his anger on Amo, the show didn’t just wave it off as her getting what she deserved. He made a mistake and he needed to apologize and grow. Yes, Amo messed them up, but she probably didn’t know her power brought them mental suffering. Just that their loved ones were imprinted onto her.

Good stuff! I’m starting to warm up to the show formally.

moments like this always bring out the worse in anime fans

at least the show did a good job showing how messed up it really was with everyone's shock , and the Enjin talk was good and even though he didn't say much it was enough to get the point across, Rudo coming to the realization is still one of the better parts of his character, mind went black?(not sure if this is due to whatever they are hinting at with him) and only acted on anger even if that was anger for his allies

sad seeing Touma get brought up in the same light totally not the same

In this time when most summer anime end and most fall anime haven't begin broadcast yet, I'd like to thanks that Gachiakuta has two consecutive cours. Otherwise I'd be bored to death.

That's an interesting take about the angel. I wonder if Regto and Amos mom have a connection since they both had items from The Watchmen series👀

Agreeing with a lot of what's been said. Tamsy skyrocketed up my list of favorite characters and while Rudo's actions were disturbing I actually liked how things played out. Surprisingly solid resolution(so far) to an arc I wasn't really feeling during the setup.
