| É um dos finais mais aberto que eu já vi na minha vida, cheguei a pausar toda a música do final pra ver todas as cartas de taro e tentar entender alguma coisa, então vou cuspir algumas teorias. Pra inicio de tudo, temos uma menina que saiu da pqp fazendo essa leitura "da realidade/futuro" pro X, n sabemos nada dela, o que é muito triste, porque ela parece importante. Ela mostra as cartas do louco, o carro, a roda da fortuna, o mago e o diabo, respectivamente, que complementam o contexto da ending, mas não ajudam em muita coisa. A partir dai temos o X, parece que ele conseguiu fazer grandes negócios e de alguma forma estava tendo um surto de "magia", imagino que esse negócio que ele tenha feito tem a ver com aquela nave espacial, pq logo depois ele conhece um "mago" que, de início, eu achei que estava dando o poder pra ele, mas depois de ver bem a sequência, parece que o mago ajudou ele a aprender mais sobre esse poder, ou a controlar ele, sendo a habilidade de moldar a realidade. Ai aparece ele e mais 2 pessoas, uma sendo a menina do taro e outro sendo um cara que parece ter um poder similar ao dele, e depois disso, todos lutam contra vilões que parecem ser a personificação dessas cartas de taro, o próprio destino. Daí a (quem sabe) importância gigantesca da menina, mesmo que ela apareça só encarado os inimigos, no final aparece uma mulher que parece ser quem controla essas cartas, que parece bastante com ela inclusive. A menina que tirou taro... Instrumento conhecido por mostrar o futuro... Associado a destino... Quem o X disse que vai desafiar... Ela até poderia ser o Zero, porém estou mesmo pra acreditar que o Zero seja o X (quem sabe até mesmo o menino que luta junto com ele, de última tentativa de dar utilidade pra ele), já que essa primeira batalha parece ter acontecido no passado e eles parecem serem os mais fortes dali. Isso explicaria porque ninguém conhece o X mas ele tem tanto poder. Claro, ele pode ser só um cara da atualidade que os poderes podem ter vindo daquele lance espacial/mágico, talvez nasceu um menino prodígio simplesmente transbordando confiança e fds Mas a teoria dele ser o Zero é grande. No mas, ainda não entendo nada e terem deixado o final assim me irrita muito, mesmo que eu tenha gostado da forma que a história foi contada, desenvolvendo todos os personagens de cada vez e cada vez mais conectando eles, ainda sim, esse final COMPLETAMENTE aberto deixa uma sensação ruim, é como se o anime tivesse sido 90% só flashback, não foi ruim, mas sabe... |

| People throw around the term "peak" a lot but this is one of those cases where that term appropriately applies, To Be Hero X is genuinely fucking peak holy shit. Non-linear storytelling might not be everyone's cup of tea, and it's hard to pull off, but I'm a sucker for this shit when it's done right. Seeing how each of these heroes' stories connect, how they overlap, and how it all converges and comes together in the end....so so good man. And coupled with some of the best action in anime this year as well? THIS is how you give an audience aura and hype moments with actual good writing. Shout out my boy X, bro barely showed up during the season but the handful of times that he did, he had so much SAUCE fr. 24 episodes of setup is pretty crazy when you think about it, but it was done so well and I just know that the payoff in a 2nd season (🤞) would be well worth it. |

| We're only just beginning, and are left with more questions than answers. But it's all good, for now we know what we need to know: and that is X is gonna absolutely be standing on business, and defying the hand of fate. And clocking out on time of course. Can't let the corp or anyone else dictate when it's his time to go home; bro is nobody's pawn. What else to say. This slapped, even though this probably was just all the set up for the real sh*t that's going to go down in season 2. Lfg. So looking forward to what's coming. |

| Holy shit, easily AOTY contender. Aura farming and good writing in the same series is not something I thought was possible. Also didn't think anybody could aura farm more than Jinwoo this year. Somehow beating Solo Leveling at the only two games it is good at, animation and aura farming. X's way of fighting has to be one of the most engaging ones I have seen in anime. Annoying opponent? Lol, get graffiti'd. Funny thing, I thought something like Call of the Night or Rascal would be my AOTS. Wasn't even planning on watching this anime until a friend annoyed me into watching it. Also, how tf is Nice alive? Doesn't matter how he survived tho, he's remaining on fraud watch. |

| The episode by itself was incredible and very fun to watch but as a finale it wasn't really satisfying and left me with more questions than answers, so I do hope they end up releasing a second season at some point that will answer all the questions left and also finish the arcs of all the major characters. |
| What an amazing end to an amazing season. To Be Hero X has been incredible, both in terms of ambition and execution. We just don't get animated projects like this that succeed to bring such an impressive and intricate world to the audience, not to mention the quality of the animation. I can't wait for season 2. In typical Li Haoling fashion, the last episode of the season raises more questions than answers. It was nice to get some confirmation on the story, which until now has been mostly understood by the audience through theorycrafting; hopefully the exposition dump is enough to let people who don't think about the show they're watching catch up and understand the next season, where plot understanding will be crucial. I love how many new heroes we got introduced to; I wonder if any of them will appear again in future episodes. X vs. Everyone was a fantastic sequence; it just looked fricking cool... Speaking of which, X vs. Everyone was covered up in typical Hero Association fashion. You can see FOMO posts saying things along the likes of "I was going to sleep until someone decided it would be a good idea to shoot a movie involving practical effects!!" The most mysterious group right now is the Spotlight organization, which I'm surprised about. What exactly have they done aside from fear amplifying Lin Ling's boss and DJ Shindig? Why exactly are they doing this? We got some confirmation this episode that Reporter Liu is the organizations leader, but why would he do this? |

| This was absolutely amazing, Even though they didnt answer everything, They told us just enough to satisfy us and keep craving for more. This is how you do a finale episode lol. Absolute cinema! X has to be one of the coolest characters ever, No joke. Finger snapping never looked cooler xD This was a joyride to watch, We'll see if they come back for another season as there's alot of stuff left unanswered. X is still a mystery lol. |

| They were absolutely flexing with the animation this episode. X has looked cool every time he has appeared so far ever since the promotional video, but this might just have been the best yet. I got a little lost in the reveal of 'the truth', but he basically seems to have been saying that they are all prisoners of fate and that he is personally going to try to defy that? Everything is now perfectly set up for the tournament arc, it is just a matter of how long we are going to have to wait to witness it. |

| The hero agencies worked together to take down X but X easily escaped. Hm? Ghostblade is participating in the tournament? I guess he resigned from MG but is still a hero. Wonder if he signed up with another agency. There were some characters that we have not seen in 2.5D yet so it was cool seeing them here. So Nice didn't die after all but he looks very broken... Literally has cracks on his face and outfit. X is so real for wanting to always leave work on time and not do overtime xD Hope we won't have to wait too long for season 2. |

I'm really curious to see if X came from an alternate universe much like the multiple universes that exist in the MCU or if he time traveled. The updated OP they used at the end seems to hint very strongly towards 1 of those 2 theories given that we don't see those other 2 characters he was shown fighting with anywhere in the current timeline we have been shown.
If so, I hope they do an alternate universe because if he time traveled back it will be much harder to justify him doing jack squat about Rock and Zero for so many years. If it's an alternate universe it gives more leeway for him to figure out the differences between the two worlds as he gathers more heroes to his side for this future conflict.
Those 2 theories have been speculated for X since the beginning given what we have seen of his powers to explain how he gathered so much trust value without anyone knowing who the heck he is.
I was a little worried before this episode after seeing his PV that they might feed us some BS about "all the belief of the workers of the world went to this 1 worker" as some kind of communist propaganda but that seems less likely now and more likely just a character trait regarding his work ethos.

That means the story is more likely cooked now. I am questioning how they will explain away the existence of this final villain disappearing for so long without time/dimensional travel. Hope I'm wrong and they pull it off. |
| X it's insanely powerful and extremely charismatic lol Everything has been leading to this moment. Even Nice somehow returned? But a bit cracked and he looks soulless. X and Ahu's friendship is something I didn't know I needed and I hope to see more of it in the next season. |

| I'm surprised people are okay with a cliffhanger ending. I didn't expect to encounter a cliffhanger at the end after all this hype. Kinda sad about that. This episode was art personified. X is art personified. Loved it. 8/10 |

| Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one confused. Kind of weird they drop cliffhangers at almost the end of every character arc, only to barely address it towards the end. X was so cool; wish the rest of the episodes were as good as the last. |
