@Xystus not every Hero is going to get 4 eps! Nice/Ling lin is the only hero to get 4 eps dedicated to them
Other hero's will get 3,2 and 1 ep

Everyone making fuss about the ending cliffhanger meanwhile Link click fan just eating popcorn. Welcome to our pain and suffering.Tbh i 'm also dying to know the continuation of last episode but based on the flow more new hero will be introduced or after e-soul arc idk.

The direction and animation style each episode feels different, maybe it just my imagination. E-soul just got powered up after than one boy give him trust. it giving quality > quantity. Poor guy but if he's the one kill moon maybe some reasoning are behind this.

So we start E-Soul's arc. Such an important arc for us fans that we want to believe in him so bad that justifies what he did last episode to Moon.

Episode was pretty good, a good introduction for him as we learn that E-Soul is a beacon of hope, so much that inspires actors and kids for the even part, adults as well.

Seems there's a fight of different E-Souls, we can see how, if his popularity increases, there may be a conflict with the original E-Soul and that may lead to confrontations.

We learn something very important, that trust value works as fine water in this world, that with only a 1 you can become as stronger than you've ever been, so then there's lin ling who got like a million in over a second, you can guess how strong he actually is.

I must highlight once again the direction of this episode, yes once again since this is a current trend for Haolin, ever since the first episode. The way the story unfolds and how it compares both current and past stories to build up upon this new inspiring hero is a remarkable feature only this and few other animes are able to, the story may be simple, but it's the way it's told that engages you to want more and more, and that's incredibly special.

it's pure madness especially ep 5 which has just come out it's my favorite ep if only for this little bit of romance absolutely well balanced and also for the beauty of the fights and the main characters who are incredible because of their psychological side (never give up among other things and their personalities I don't know if you see what I mean) In short if I could give it 10/10 I would do it directly

Banger episode per usual

Today was the start of E-Soul’s arc and it’s one of the 4 Heroes I’ve been wanting to see since he got revealed. It’s if a Kamen Rider became the Flash. It’s only gonna be 3 episodes though from what I heard.

Ngl after what Yang Cheng had experienced being an orphan after losing his parents and failing to be the next E-soul in the audition I’m glad he finally got someone he can trust in the form of Pomelo and his powers awakened finally. Not to mention Shang Chao was looking for him. I’m willing to bet that the old E-Soul probably thought about who to take the mantle next and He definitely chose Yang Cheng.

Dude seriously needs to get his act together. And how the heck does Shang always appear whenever Yang tries to ask Xia out or confess?

Now the bigger questions: who ordered Pomelo’s kidnapping, and for what purpose? How will Yang and Xia’s relationship develop moving forward? AND WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MOON—SHE BETTER BE ALIVE!!!

Hah here i thought at the beginning those kid actually Lin Ling and then the later actually Lin Ling kid version. Alright then, so they really go back to the past with E-Soul story, but 'truly' E-Soul since its from another dude and his same 'to be hero' determination. Lucky Cyan also being mentioned here so i am guessing the next will be her story? People behind the kidnapping might be original E-Soul wanting dude whose i don't really remember his name tobe his descendant. But the more surprising one actually the dude that dude jealous of turns out not really care about his crush, but actually him? Hah this arc sure can be funny. Thus, this kind of direction pretty much new to me after all this year, and lets be honest i am kinda not following well enough since this E-Soul is not giving me the same soul like Nice arc. But well, there's going to be like three more episode to him. So i might postpone a bit this arc, and see you in the end of the month, To Be Hero X....

Actually the best episode so far surprisingly. Tight ark that I hope will be expanded upon for an episode or two, but works well even as a standalone. Originally I assumed we'd meet the top 10, who I'm sure will be the main cast, through Nice but I'm pleasantly surprised that the series as a whole might be predominantly made of the origin stories for our cast before they're faced to unite to combat a greater threat.

I just hope they can keep it tightly written while managing to actually properly introduce everyone, even at a brisk episode per character (already not the case with Nice) that's still 10 episodes with little to no overall plot progression.

Now we're onto the E-Soul arc! Interesting set-up with E-Soul seemingly looking for a successor, and Yang Cheng's interactions with the kid are really cute too. That action scene was so cool, and it's an interesting bit of knowledge that Trust Value can effect your day to day life even when you aren't a hero. I also liked the mention of Lucky Cyan, it really feels like they're tying the whole universe together when they do things like that. Can't wait for the next episode!!!

Fuck, I am supposed to hate E-Soul coming into this episode. But this does make things more complicated. Now I am praying that it wasn't Yang Cheng that killed Moon, cause there's plenty of other E-Soul's in the sea. And also, Yang Cheng immediately won me over this episode, it's so peak.

We're 1 of 2 for doomed romances so far, I hope we don't go 2 for 2, but the future is looking grim.

Damn, 1 trust point gave that much of a boost.

Fucking hell though, Shang Cao, get off my dick.

Ngl, this is probably the first Donghua i really like, imo Yang Cheng's story is much better than Lin Ling. This is the origin hero's story that i like, e/o some people might find this kinda corny, but i still like it. YC so far is my favs.

Confusing storytelling due to many protagonists (10 heroes, but actually not really because there are more lol) taking the PoV of the story, this kind of series usually pushing us the viewers to go into details to get more immersion and understanding.

> From what i see so far the story is actually going backwards, the story with Lin Ling is actually the most recent timeline (41 YAC)
> This Yang Cheng's story actually happens 5 years before Nice suicide/Lin Ling's debut (36 YAC), we can see that E-soul actually one of the oldest if not the oldest hero that already survived for 34 years (34 E-soul's anniversary), E-soul already become a hero in 2YAC.

What happened to Moon is actually the newest timeline that isn't explained yet. With these 5 years gap, whoever wearing that E-soul costume that killed Moon can be pretty much anyone, including Yang Cheng who probably either go evil or died. These 5 years gap is kinda important i guess, because it also contains a mystery about Nice's downfall which is mentioned to have something to do with hero "Smile".

I LOVED all four episodes before this one SO MUCH like I was glued to the screen so excited to hang onto every word and every action and see what would happen next.

I had to watch this episode in three parts because I hated this new character so much. Literally the whole episode was him getting upset that his goals were not handed to him when he did everything in his power to push them away. Even when the action started it didn't make any sense. I found myself yelling at the screen more than enjoying it.

REALLY HOPE he's not a main character next episode but I think that will be the case. Still love the show but wow what a 180 in enjoyment.

@Kholtar When people start believing you to be something you end up being that. It can effect positively as well as negatively. Yang Cheng got the power of E soul little but enough to kock out a regular guy just like Lin Ling who got completely transformed into Nice because of his huge trust value from his followers who believe him to be Nice.

I can’t keep up with all the emotions in this series—just look at their eyes and expressions, it feels so real.
Yang Cheng’s trauma from losing his parents was truly heartbreaking, yet he continues to live strong despite the painful memories. I really hope he and the girl end up together.

@Stormy_77 Lin Ling arc is the last arc of the series ( s1 probably ) and Now we are going in reverse order , So we most probably have to wait for the end of the season or S2 ( Most likely since last ep is X Ep )

@Nouzen_Chainsaw they cant drop the biggest cliffhanger and then be like "but first here's 9 backstories (that will end with another cliffhanger probably)". Imma die from cliffhangering! I thought it would be just E-Soul's backstory first to understand why he shot Moon, but now that I checked I'm puzzled
