| @Yaggamy By then it will be too late and half of us will have gotten off the Kaiju 8 train. This show is at it's best when Kafka is being a lovable goofy idiot coming to terms with his superpower. This episode felt like a My Hero Academia side story where we have to hear about random side characters sob story. If we don't see the main character until season 3, that's just bad writing and direction. |
| Props to getting #6 in fighting position. He now got ice powers with the suit perks 🙏 they can use all the upgrades they can get their hands on Glad that he has his homie he can rely on. Despite the overwhelming power, sometimes people need to be grounded. Pink hair may not have the OP tech, but he's doing his part in their containment mission. When Kafka sees this dude roll up with the freeze suit, he's going to be in for a surprise. They got this fight down pat. |

| Boruto level writing lmao.. But Iharu atleast had a good backstory.. I was actually surprised by school setting and actually thought I accidently opened wrong anime but it was High School setting in Kaiju world! The same complaint as the last episode imo.. The dialogues are extremely weak.. I know dialogues were never the strong point of this show but atleast put an effort to write some dialogues that one can relate with. Good backstory poor execution.. 6.5/10. |
| oh man it's gonna stretch in to an another episode. but it was really good to see Reno and Iharu gaining their much-needed power to stand with kauju no.8. it'd be cool if they formed up a new division with kafka(he need to grow a little tho) as captain and reno as vice. |

| A decent episode. Reno still can't control Weapon No. 6, but what caught my attention the most was Iharu's story. When he was younger, he was considered a prodigy, until he met people who easily surpassed him, or others like Reno, who worked as hard as he did and still outperformed him. Instead of getting discouraged, he surpassed himself. He didn't deny his envy of Reno, but used it as fuel to become stronger. It's a pretty classic anime trope, but it wasn't badly executed. Still, I think it could have been a little shorter. |

| I echo a lot of people who said this was a dull one, but what really gets me is what is the monitoring team doing? You can't convince me it's somehow essential to the training to not explain to Reno that using 6 carries a risk of exaggerating tendencies and his current ones are hurting more than helping. Why are they just discussing how wrong it's going instead of making any effort to guide Reno? It also bothers me that they're not treating this live combat with any sort of respect for the risk. The little one could have eaten Iharu. The trunk could have hit the observers. Why is everyone acting like the only thing at stake is whether Reno can use the weapon? Really quickly spending the points from a major character death and losing the sense of danger. |
| Reno-Iharu bromance so strong it can break through freaking Godzilla's influence. Kind of a meh episode if I'm honest. I like Reno but I don't know if I needed a whole episode (and a fraction of the next one, most likely) of him testing the suit while trying to defeat a random Kaiju. |

| I like the focus on other characters but it shouldn't come as an entire arc, especially with unwanted tell don't show explanations for everything. It feels shoehorned when it could've come naturally. It's okay to have plot narrative switches but it shouldn't just be A or B or C all at once, there should be interaction between them. Here it feels somewhat sidelined just for the sake of B plot exposition. Not bad in itself, but not well done. |
