| The beginning of a new beautiful friendship? Well Abel and Ryou are the main guys and focus so far. Abel seems to be impressed by Ryou's abilities already. I can see he has a lot of potential. Getting slight survival vibes from this show since they are in a place where monsters roam the wild. Pacing still feels a little slow right onw so I assume the story is just getting warmed up. |

| Ryou saves Abel, who is stranded on the beach. Abel asks Ryou to show him the way to the city of Run, and Ryou leaves the Rondo Forest. I feel that Ryou has cheat powers that make this second episode boring and predictable, right? The match with the Dullahan is quite dull; I thought there would be an impressive fight and stunning sword effects, but they just skipped over that match. I'm pretty disappointed. The design of the golem is also quite strange; I couldn't even guess that it was a golem. |

| Still can’t get over how gorgeous that OP is. This show had zero business putting something that good out!! Another good episode. Pacing is pretty solid here, I like that we didn’t linger too long in the forest of rondo and we have some company for Ryo now in Abel. Their chemistry is really good and it’s about time Ryo starts learning about the outside world! I love how Abel is just dumbfounded by how Ryo judges places based on their names lol. He’s so simple to be so OP. This was a nice transitional episode going from Ryo’s quiet isolated life in the forest to Lune. I’m excited to meet the rest of the cast and learn more about this world/our overarching story here. The OST is SOO good in this too! I love the one that plays near the end of the episode as they’re making their way to the summit of the mountain. Looking forward to more. |

| Ryo bringing the castaway Abel back to his home, though he's the only sane person out of the crew questioning someone who's way out of the typical line when it comes to modesty. And him needing Ryo to find a way to get back to Lune, that puts the latter's idea of a slow life one step back. And the boy who goes half-naked without a top, gets granted a coat by the Dullahan in good faith, which is great to see. Ryo's journey with Abel out from his comfort zone and through the Forest of Rondo, while the latter learning of the former's water magic powers that are quite different from what he learnt, as well as a strong distrust of the kingdoms from Ryo, it's quite the adventure facing monsters from lizardfolk to rock golems, to hearing stories about the Kingdom of Knightley from Abel that Ryo is interested to hear about, just as Lewin had informed him. And the behemoth that both guys have been following, that led them to the flock of wyverns to take down and get their magic stones in the process, this journey may be arduous, but both young men flow each other well. For now, so far so good. Looking forward to seeing more of Ryo and Abel's journey towards Lune. |

| I am loving the show so far. I think a lot of people assume this is going to be a more action oriented fast paced isekai but that's not really how the novels are like so maybe people are going to be disappointed. |

| After watching almost all the animes I wanted this season this OP still remains the best by far. Can't wait to see the elf waifu to come and squash the Yaoi shippers. Another good episode and things are moving along nicely, good pacing. The art and music is quite decent. And except and one spell Icicle spear which kinda looking janky the rest is quite good. Monsters are well animated. I mean I don't expect anything ground breaking but it's been a good start. |
| So far I can say it is the best currently airing anime about a water magician who trains witha dullahan. Sas aside, I feel the trip could have been trimmed: By the time they fought the awfully designed golems I think even the dumbest watchter got the point that Abel is amazed and both are becoming accustomed to each other. Just get them into the damn city. |

| The fantasy vibe is so good. I love how proper and mature the mc and the characters he encountered so far are. It's shaping up to be a very pleasant adventure and I hope the story maintains this level of decorum and quality throughout. And those were some beautiful mountain ranges, a very enthralling sight for a fantasy setting as such :) |

| Loved the episode. I'm glad we finally got a character, Abel, to interact with our protagonist, Ryō. That aside, I have to say the prologue felt below average to me, but this episode changed my impression a bit. It feels like the story has some potential, therefore, I'm actually a bit excited for what's next from Ryō. |
| This anime has a relaxed feel to it. The chemistry between Abel and Ryou is very good, and it's funny that Abel holds back on commenting on Ryou's financial situation so as not to offend him, even though Ryou really doesn't care. I don't know why, but there's something about Dullahan who was or will become a great waifu/husband. It looks like we won't be seeing more of them this season, unless they make a surprise return. Overall, a good episode. |
