They should have worked together to find out the truth and not fought like this.

The making of the rubber was nice. However, the rest of the episode was pretty boring...

Episode 3 👀 let the adventure kick into overdrive. Would've been convenient if they could cross through the Panama Canal 😆 but what can we do. They even made a note of it in the ep 🙏 cheers to being relevant. Or they got plans accounting for it 👀

Lab car XD treated like a member at this point. It has its final voyage now 🫡 rip the car. Nice that they let the bad guy get involved in their science project. Keep him from being bored XD and use the extra hands

Rubber achieved 🫡 we're blowing through the bike making process at Stone speed. Even the main ship is victim to the building process XD

Side note, W for rigging the plane to fail

There's a reference to the Straw Hat Pirates when they parted ways with the Going Merry. 😂
Another exciting part was when they discovered a rubber tree and made tires. But what didn’t make much sense was the process of building the motorcycle.
The chase with Stanley was quite intense.
I'm curious, what code did Dr. Xeno give to Stanley?

Goodbye, Mobile Lab. You were really part of the Kingdom of Science. :( It was so sad watching it get destroyed and sink into the ocean. Everyone’s saying RIP. But at least the bikes were super cool, one being used for fuel and the other collecting gas. The designs looked amazing too.

Yeah, they didn’t really show the usual building steps this time. Some parts of making those bikes didn’t seem possible with how rushed it was, lol. But it’s Dr. Stone, so it’s fine. The final couple minutes was so fun with Stanley chasing and shooting at the bikes. That final scene where Senku own him was awesome.
@IzanaSolos I miss the building steps so much!!! T_T

Great episode! I liked that they referenced the Panama Canal, because it seemed strange that they hadn’t even considered it as an option from the start.

Is there any significance between the people who took hits from Stanley in this episode and the people in the ED?

Damn, the Mobile Lab has been with them for quite a while by now, but alas, it must serve its final directive and be a decoy in order to buy some time.
FYI The mobile lab got some votes for the public character popularity contes,t so Kaseku, Chrome and Suika's griefing over its suicide mission made sense. It really was a great companion until the very end.

Thanks to the decoy, Senku managed to get some gum sap, and processed them by the time they arrive in Ecuador, and like always, time is not their ally, so they don't play around before completely stripping down the boat for parts. It's kinda wild to see Hyoga following their groove as though he wasn't an antagonist previously, lol.

And so, with Stanley's squad fast approaching, there's barely enough time for Senku and his gang to escape.
But escape they did, with a bunch of boss hoss motorcycles riding through the desolate Amazonian desert, MAD MAX STYLE!!!

As always, Senku is several steps ahead; his proactive thinking to sabotage the enemy's plane with sugar water are paid in full with their assault right now. The planes are downed yet agai,n and Senku and the rest left Stanley and his squad to bite their dust, literally.

Unfortunately Stanley's risky decision of encouraging Hyoga to use himself as shield was a ploy for him to relay a message to Stanley. They should've known that Xeno is the type of person you should bind, blind, gag, deafen and kept under monitor.

P.S. HOLY GYAAAAAT DAMNNNN SHAWTY

Okay, so it's safe to say that if Senku, Kohaku and Tsukasa were One Piece characters, they wouldn't give a fuck about
and cry about it like how all the Strawhat Pirates cried about it. Always found that scene cringe and them crying about it silly. Like, it's just a fucking boat. And apparently it's considered one of the saddest moments in One Piece, non-flashback wise. That's what happens when you make a series with a lack of deaths. That a moment like that is supposed to be as sad as an actual character dying. Senku being indifferent about it would be the more normal reaction.

With Stanley chasing Senku and the gang down to South America, the Panama Canal provides another cover for the group while still continuing to find rubber to make bike tires, though it always puts someone's life at sacrifice. Instead, it's Kaseki's mobile lab car that gets sacrificed instead while the main group finally reaches South American lands to extract the sap from rubber trees, enough to make bike tyres and other than being a versatile bouncy toy. That's where Taiju comes in with his superhuman strength to flatten them down, and with Senku putting the final touches on the wheel ridges, there you have it: rubber tires.

Meanwhile, Stanley's ship clearly seeing the decoy and being led to it, stalls sometime for the Youth Science Team to work their bikes, and the ship literally is makeshifted into bikes and engines in haste and no time to spare. And very soon, the next morning, the real Earth Race starts with the team on bikes and avoiding the long-distance ranged fire with simple smokescreen. The last and final net with Stanley charging at the group from the aerial skies, and Senku sure did a disservice to cut his aerial surge, definitely putting the distance separation on the ground, for good.

Smart Senku, there's nothing to outwit him. To the Holy Land of Petrification we go!
