Kirakira Joust ~★ ❤︎ In this thread we're going to discuss, vote and decide who the best idol is. ❤︎ Each user can nominate just one character that exists in the MAL database. This character must be canonically an idol or at the very least be an actual singer/musician who performs on screen (so not just a part of the background). ❤︎ To nominate a character simply post a link to their MAL page. ❤︎ There will be two main voting criteria - how much does the character fit the image of an idol (personality, role in the story, etc.) and looks. ❤︎ The registration period will continue until the BGC Winter is over. ❤︎ There is no limit to the number of participants. ❤︎ If the event is successful (not dead or semi-dead with little to no participation) there will be a second part related to music. | I'm not sure how much vtubers count, but I nominate Hoshimachi Suisei. Her musical talent is top notch and built through years of grinding. She performed at Budokan. She sings the ending of GQUUUX. She technically shows up in Hologra relatively often. She started out essentially not qualifying as an idol and literally decided to do it herself (as a virtual idol/vtuber) and the rest is history. |
