So death really just wants to die but can’t. So she wants to get denji to be strong enough to kill her.
@Gingerswag_7 Are you still believing that's what she actually meant? That she was telling the truth? |

That was a good twist, but no a incredible one to be honest, at least to me, Fami was not a character with to much screen time or with great interactions, and now she is the big boss, how she develop from here is going to do the difference. |

@Red_sparkling It would make a lot of sense for death to be unable to die. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something she wants to experience as well. |

WHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT?!?!?!?!? You're telling me. Fami. By far the best girl in part 2 in my opinion. WAS THE DEATH DEVIL? The girl that refused to save humanity to help build the school festival? Oh wait, that kinda makes sense now.... Ohhhhhh. Well, this is MUCH better than having that real Fami wimp the Death Devil. |

So death has been here all along with us disguising as Fami. I thought I was a Fami worshipper but I was actually a death worshipper. PEAK april 1st chapter Fujimoto well played. Also so the real Fami is actually just a fraud? I guess makes sense Famine isn't as big of a deal as it used to. Still could be pretty strong being able to absorb life/nutrients from other life. Also Fami being able to control a primal fear Falling should've been obvious she was way too powerful for a regular horsemen. Also having Guillotine as her servant as well of course she's death. |

This is the biggest twist in the Chainsaw Man Series. We have been duped since Volume 14. She committed identity theft so she can steal the real Fami's identity. And here we are at Volume 22: we are moving at breakneck speed on this series. And Death Devil has no organs. Why does she have no organs? |

I don't get it ... why does death stop famine from kill? Or rather why does famine increase the number of deaths. People are scared of dying the most. So this one must be the strongest. |

I forgot so if anyone could let me know, but what was "Famine" devil suppose to mean or what relation did she have to other devils? I thought it was related to war, like the War devil. When they talked about the Death devil in the past, i thought it was Fami at first because i legit just forgot the explanation of "famine". If you can tell i haven't been paying close attention.
@JayTCU there are 4 horsemen of the apocalypse: Death devil (now we know that is a false “Fami”), War devil (Yoru), Control devil (Makima/Nayuta), Famine devil (now we know that it isn’t Fami than we known, but this new girl, the real Fami). They are all sisters, and four of the most powerful devils in existence. Death devil in particular is considering the most powerful entity, and it was prophesied that with her arrive on Earth humanity will end. If there is some special relationship between sisters and other devils - we don’t know. For now is more like a famous “girl band” with 4 extremely powerful devils. |

@JayTCU the thing is, they definitely considering each other as sisters, and they have some special connections between them. But the heck this family dynamic means in devil world? We don’t know. And the story for now goes: even devils believe that “Death” will be the end of humanity. And until now we believed that “Fami” works with Yoru, Denji & others in order to avoid this, her reasoning was, that there are too many human things that she enjoys, food, entertainment etc. And her strategy was to made Chainsaw, War & probably Famine? more powerful, by spreading fear among the people. But if you think, there are some stupid flaws in this… like, Death too will be more powerful because of this… And now “Fami” appears to be a true Death… and after this? Boh. |

are you mad that its a weak twist, or are you just mad that there's no hype moments and aura

Holy fucking shit, never in a million years did I expect that. I sympathize with the real Fami, to be honest. Also, "Fami" is the Death Devil. I'm losing my fucking mind right now. I can't wait to re-read Part 2 and view her in a new light. 11/10 chapter, and probably the best twist in Chainsaw Man. And that is saying a lot, considering previous twists. |

@IzanaSolos But your favorites list shows you have quite good taste, I just believe you merely misunderstand Fujimoto's genius. You can say Chainsaw Man is fine, I will not bother you for your opinions. But calling others unintelligent for comprehending the story differently than you is not the smartest way to criticize art. The first two posts were more of a joke to rile you up in the first place, everyone is entitled to your opinion. As someone who is not the biggest fan of Naruto either, I could mock you for calling it a masterpiece, as I only rated it a 7/10, just as you did for Bleach and Sonny Boy. But I see no need to, as while I actually quite loved the first half, I feel more mixed on the second. But I don't believe you don't deserve an opinion. The misspelling was a petty comeback, I know, and I apologize for my immaturity in that regard. I just tend to get tired of mocking people for what they like. I was a hypocrite in that regard, but not because of your opinion, but for mocking someone else's admittedly strange vocablulary. People may use "brainrot" terms a lot nowadays on the internet, but it doesn't mean they lack reading comprehension. One Piece, Monogatari, and Evangelion are prime examples of what I consider to be masterpieces, with NGE being my favorite piece of media of all time. I have personal preferences, and you can't define "masterpiece", no one has a correct word. I apologize if this post has been a drag, I tend to ramble on quite a bit. I hope you'll actually hear out this one post, as I really meant no harm with the other two. |

@Iamthewalrus8002 Well, I'm glad you admit to being immature, as I, too, am guilty of immaturity in this petty argument. Yeah, maybe the way I criticized this was a bit unintelligent, that’s on me. But man, I'm sorry, we're already further into this than part one ever got, and I have yet to feel any spark or experience the same excitement I did with part one gave me twenty something chapters in. Part two has failed to grab me like part one did, and since it has already far surpassed part one’s chapter count, so I go into every new chapter with a negative mindset because of that, so yeah, that's why. When it comes to those "brainrot" terms, yeah, cool, they can use them all they want. But when someone wants to have an actual argument with substance and pulls one of them out, I can't help but not take them seriously in the slightest. It's just a me thing |

@Iamthewalrus8002 "truly intelligent understand the mind of Fujimoto" sure right, Chainsawman part 2 is the epitome of manga industry, low level brain cant understand how Fujimoto think since he transcend normal realm. So ? Part 2 is all over the place, the whole part degenerate Denji back from well developed character into what he was when the series began, the only change was that he love Najuta, and after Najuta died ( fujimoto also didnt address the whole stuff as good as what he portrayed at the end of part 1 btw). Let say, this is the same point as Makima reveal at part 1, it is so weak! Thing is, you KNOW something fishy about Makima, from dialogues and characters dynamic, she display perks that make us as the readers suspect her, making the twist meaningful and make the reader piece things together. Whereas what we got in this chapter is that Fami is Death devil in disguise, and what does that actually does ? She try to off herself ? But it didnt went well ? now she need CSM to eat her and that will call upon the apocalypse since now human cant die and we will be exactly what happen in Aging world ? What exactly Fami did throughout the story that is plot significance at this point ? I would say probably none outside from popping out and split some line, then disappear, "OMG she didnt show up for the fight with Aging since Aging will know" what is suppose to be the "smartness" about that ? If you think that is the pinnacle of story telling then ... The only hint we have for Fami is Falling Devil and the Guillotine Devil , and none of that can be compare with Makima displaying her power in the first half of CSM, what she did to Angel Devil, her manipulation on Aki, and the whole International Assassin arc. Pls stop glazing Fujimoto, he does have great work, CSM part 1 and Sayonara Eri shown that, but saying part 2 is better or a masterpiece is a overstatement. Part 2 is OK at best, and stop criticizing people because they dont rate something a 10 or a 7, go read what those rating mean, 7 is a good btw or when did we start saying good = I hate it or this is mid ? |

@teddy200 It was not the most serious post. I don’t think it’s perfect or anything or Fujimoto can do no wrong. It was an embellishment to get a rise out of someone. I think Part 2 is a masterpiece nonetheless, and I think there is a lot more hints than the ones you mention. But I’m gonna enjoy this peak storytelling no matter what others tell me. But I glaze Fujimoto for the fun of it, I never literally mean it. |

@IzanaSolos Yeah I get that, I'm in the same boat. Part 2 is definelty something to re read when it ends. While in part 1, you kinda knew shit was wrong with makima, the gun devil, etc, and that just built up to the plot twist moments. While in part 2 it's very subtle in dialogue, it's all happening in the background, and is not as "suspicious" if thats the right word to use |

And now that makes sense. Makima wanted to get rid of her sisters, because if they die then she could have a world where everything is under her control and ultimately her goal was to ascend humanity on her own level of perfection because she was lonely deep down and she was unable to descend to humanity's level because of her own nature. Yoru now want to get rid of death devil so there would be eternal war on earth. And finally death devil wants to annihilate all of humanity in the hope that she would also perish if the condition met because if she is the true leader of chainsaw man church then it was her objective to decapitate Nayuta so Denji would lose it and Pochita could go on and erase devils and eventually erase her too. |

Alright, this chapter was peak, I mean literally, peak, these are the things I love about Chainsaw Man. So the Death Devil, which is most likely the last villain, was here from the very beginning of part 2, interesting, I was played for a fool, well we all did, good stuff. And it makes sense for her to be the Death Devil because otherwise, she wouldn't have a top-tier devil like the Falling Devil working for her, I was always wondering how Fami got a powerful devil like the Falling Devil as a slave, how did she do it? did she create a situation where she got hungry and then she got controlled by Fami? how was this even possible? but nope, she did it by other means, she's the Death Devil, after all, goddamn this plot twist was pretty damn cool. I still don't understand why Famine Devil told the Death Devil "Big Sis! If you still feel anything for mankind..." Why did she do it? Famine Devil seemed to not care about mankind either, she was about to kill those students, unless she was absorbing their life force to get stronger or something to be strong enough to stop the Death Devil, if this is the case then alright, I would understand, if that wasn't the case and she did it just to kill them then I don't understand. Either way, good stuff and I can't wait for the next chapter. |

Well people here liking this have to either have the smallest brains ever or they just like shock value for the sack of it… Part 2 is still the meaning of taking a great series and throwing it in the trash bin of writing. Even the “twist” here is non impactful, why? Because Fami was non existent. You are gonna say: “Well that’s the point”, then congrats for beating the JJK fandom to being one of the most asinine communities out there to defend shock value with bad writing. Btw, Fami was badly written, don’t know where the people saying she was well written came from, when literally for the past 60 chapters not one person here mentioned her in any sense of way. Shows how much these comment section is filled with people who think this is “peak”. Like enjoy it but admit how fanboyish you sound in the process, because wow you guys need to actually read good manga. |

Man I love chainsaw man agree, it almost forces you to go back and reread part 2. I’ve definitely been looking for a reason to reread part two, I’ve been reading weekly, so a binge of part 2 sounds like fun. |
