| This ended up being a good chill SoL series starting with Machio by himself in the first episode to the finale where he has a son and a bunch of various characters have moved in. I recall an earlier episode where he fought the first dragon (I think it was the dad dragon) and some badass music started playing and his tool turned into a spear, it's too bad we didn't get much more action like that. Also, based on various comments, apparently the anime was toned down from the manga regarding various females getting pregnant, I'm not sure if that will be addressed if there's a 2nd season (I may read the manga at some point). I did like the comedy bits scattered throughout including how his neighbors think that he's hostile and if they don't act he will take over. Anyways, I still mostly enjoyed watching this and I give this a 7/10 as a good anime. |

| only problem is they needed to show more of the interaction between him and the girls when it comes to the romance and sexy times. it's have made more sense with the whole prego lu outta nowhere. Manga does a good tasteful job to show his resolve to help the elves grow their population and the romance between him and some of the other main girls. |

Or give hints that those off screen things are happening. Example from another anime this season that did off screen well. "Chillin in my 30's after giving fired from the demon lord's army" had a scene where the MC and FMC are having a romantic confession moment in a sauna, next thing you know it cuts away as her town falls to the floor and goes to black. The next scene is the mother opening the daughter's bedroom door, closing it and her remarking that she's happy they're together. That's how you do off screen, yeah, I don't need to see them banging it out but I at least need to have set up to understand how the FMC&MC later have a kid! This show went from Lu saying she'd like to take it slow as they get used to their married life....nothing nothing nothing.....boom she's pregnant! This was closer to a Hero starting a journey and close to the end some character remarks about how they defeated the demon king and you go.....WTF?!?!?! When did that happen cause there was no training arc, journeying to the castle, or fighting the main boss......meh it was off screen so who cares! So bro, if they give more hints through DIALOGUE in dub that's great, they didn't do that in the sub and if you took out every word of the show for both versions and just watched this anime picture only there is no way in hell you wouldn't be surprised when Lu comes out with prego belly! Also if other people say they saw subtle hints in the sub, I need receipts and time stamps. Cause I'm telling you now. they must have been so subtle that they were subliminal advertising straight to my subconscious. And I'm not the only one to have this opinion. Hell I'm a manga reader that knew all the shit they left out leading up to her becoming pregnant and still didn't see her pregnancy coming. So no dude this wasn't "off screen" this was "non-existent screen". |

No anime or movie would ever do off screen like this, this was just bad romance storytelling. I had five friends that were watching this with me and not one of them saw her pregnancy coming. One dude even thought the guy might be gay or have a trauma towards women because it seemed like he never wanted to get close to any of them. I think they just wanted to take out anything that could remotely be seen as ecchi to the point of people magically getting pregnant. The manga does it tastefully and shows his thought process as he gets closer to the girls, shows actual romantic dialogue and actual cute romantic encounters. It's harem done tastefully. This was some Mother Mary immaculate conception type stuff in this anime. Imagine a king is battling an army and he sends a messenger to get reinforcements from his ally. Then in the big climax battle a bunch of guys come out of nowhere to save the king......you don't need to see every second of that messenger's journey to understand the messenger got to the ally and the Ally sent troops, cuz they gave you plot points in the lead up, through dialogue and seeing the messenger ride into the sunset. This though was out of nowhere, all they have is them sleeping together at the beginning in his house where you know nothing happened, Lu saying she wants to take it slow as they get to know each other better and her calling him darling throughout the show....... if there was more than that I need a time stamp cuz I went back through it and still didn't see enough hits to have her become pregnant. Go check my response to the other guy, I even give an example of another anime this season doing off screen right. |

Yeah check out the manga, cause this didn't do the romance/population building part of the show justice. The manga tastefully does harem. It shows his resolve to help the elves with their no men crisis, him getting closer to main girls like Tia and the dragons and all the lead up to Lu getting pregnant. This show was afraid to show any of that or else get labelled a hentai or some over the top ecchi anime. You can show romance without going full Mr. McMahon on it!  |

This show went so far to the wholesome side Lu ends up giving birth to Jesus through Virgin birth! Hell the ancestor even founded the main world religion lol They didn't do this part of the manga justice. I hope more people go read it cause that is half the fun to me, he not only builds this kingdom through infrastructure but actual man/girl repopulating! And it's hilarious seeing all the interactions between him and the girls and his actual love for them.  |

| This might be a bit of spoiler for the manga, but those chapters have been translated long ago. First off, the manga chapter content isn't in the exact same order as the anime episodes. Second, the manga specifically states that 'Everyone' (only Sena from the beastpeople, but they were the newest people and well... too young, of course not the lizardmen or dwarves) went to his bed, whether he asked for someone else there or not. That only changed when the 42 high elves and 20 oni maids arrived, then he dogezad and got the 'willing only' part. That lasted until Ru got pregnant, then everyone started doing it again. Fact of the matter, Ru was the only one who he directly hinted at wanting to do it with. Then she needed Tia's help manage it. Then they needed the high elves to manage it, who wanted to repopulate their race, and then everyone else just followed suit. |

| Solid very good and enjoyable anime. It was wholesome and not boring, 8/10 easily. Some times reminded me of Tensei shitara Slime but a pacific / alternative version of it xD |

Go check my response to the other guy, I even give an example of another anime this season doing off screen right. he did want to get close to the vampire but she turned younger form so he wouldn't lust for her it was mentioned in EP1, cause she wasn't mentally ready and he lost it once so after that she decided to stay in her younger form but i agree it was poor choice to do it this way that after EP1 like almost zero indication's about their relationship progression |

| Honestly legit sad that we didn't get a segment with Zabuton's pov similar to how we got one with Kuro's. All in all enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I would've although personally I prefer the first half. |
| Hiraku deserved what he got. He didn't feel and receive such wonderful life, on his past life. I hope that they make a second season for this wholesome show! |

| A light and fluffy reincarnation isekai which you have to go into without any expectations of realism or believability. It's pure fantasy escapism. With that in mind the only thing I can really criticize is how undeveloped the main couple's relationship is; you never really see them become close and then all the sudden they have a baby. There's no actual romance on display. |
| I think they should do 'Anime-only' ending if they insisted to keep PG-13 rating by not including EVERYTHING about Lu's pregnancy. Just don't make her pregnant for the entire episodes. It felt less harmful for the source material rather than half-assed adaptation like this as anime-only watcher It affects my enjoyement so much, because almost no romantic clue whatsoever between MC an Her since the second girl come (the angel). They are both looks like a close-friend like other girl rather than marriage couple as the show implies. And boom.... she suddenly pregnant lmao, So for my self-canon, her cause of pregnant is because she have contact with MC's blood regulary as implied by the vampire ancestor at eps 11. 6/10 |

| I'm still curious to what kinda idol farming program Machio got inspired by. Putting that aside, this anime may have its flaws but I quite enjoyed it. Felt like a mix of SlimeSekai and Dr. Stone with the focus on the expansion of the farming(/harem) village, only without drama and much action keeping things peaceful instead. Gonna miss Zabuton waving her hand, truly the star of this anime. |

| That was a mellow ending. Having their own currency seems like an interesting choice, so basically he plans to be their own country in the future instead of falling under the demon king. Overall was hoping they wouldn't censor/skip content, things like the pregnancy came completely out of nowhere in the anime while in the manga they made it pretty clear that he had unlimited energy and slept with most of the females in the village. |
