I was Kickstarted into Anime Fandom to begin with, long ago... by a Series that actually came out the very year i was Born; SUPERDIMENSIONAL FORTRESS MACROSS (1982/1983)  My Very First "Proto-Moe" Waifu-Oriented Series... the one the actually got me to look outside my singular Mecha-obesssion at the time, and truly Take Notice of all the Lovely Hunnies abound, was Galaxy Fraulein Yuna (1995/1997)  |

| Older anime were more hand drawn than using digital means, so they had a real unique charm to them. Grown up in Asia watching dubbed 80s-90s anime was a nice way of remembering my childhood. So many anime that hardly anyone know of. Madou King Granzort Chuuka Ichiban! Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go Wanwan Sanjuushi!! Chou Tokkyuu Hikarian Yadamon Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Sailor Moon Digimon Adventure 01 and 02 Some of these I probably missed many episodes during the initial airing in dubbed version but I'm pretty sure I watched the finale at some stage. Only Digimon Adventure 01 and 02 I definitely remember finished everything. |

Even the stuff from the 2000's is done in the 90s aesthetic, Satoshi Kon's movies are also wonderful, and edgier than Miyazaki's work. Grave of the Fireflies is phenominal, but make sure you have a big box of tissues for that ending! |

| Old school sci fi and mecha anime are literally keeping my interest alive in the medium, at the moment. Finished New Dominion Tank Police and Macross not too long ago. Plan to check out the Crusher Joe films soon. |
