I'm a fan of romance (straight and bl), comedy and sports (mainly group)
Recommend me something good!
@CurlyAnocas Looks like you have Twittering Birds Never Fly on your to-watch list... WATCH IT! The romance is so good, and the ending is dramatic. There's also an OVA called Don't Stay Gold that follows the side characters. Watch that as well.

For something not on your list, try No. 6. It's BL set in a dystopian sci-fi. The characters are freaking adorable and they go through a lot of action together 😊

Let me know what you think!

I recommend Summertime Render. A time travel supernatural mystery shounen that will keep you engaged with lots of action and revelation.

Recommend me a philosophical anime layered with a speculative story.

I recommend you watch the anime psycho pass, it questions who or what can judge us and if the villain really is not a villain

If anyone wants to rec me any animes, my fav genres of anime rn are romance, comedy, adult cast, boys love, josei, and visual arts :) also you can look at my fav animes & rec any that you think I'd like that are alike to those. thanks in advance!
@symbolsanime If you like BL romance with an adult cast, you have to watch Twittering Birds Never Fly! The romance is subtle yet dramatic. There's also an OVA called Don't Stay Gold that follows the side characters. Watch that as well.

For a bit of BL comedy, I would suggest you check out The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi. The episodes are really short (like 3 minutes long), but the MC imagines some pretty funny situations hehehe

Let me know what you think 😊

@lovebomb6 based on what you said, what immediately went to my head was Himouto! umaru chan. I saw that you watched the first season, but i has a sequel, Himouto! Umaru-Chan R, it's very funny! But to recommend another anime, besides that one, you should give a try IJiranaide, Nagatoro San.

Hope you enjoy the anime recommendation.

Im looking for a comedy show, where i can laugh out loud and end a series with a smile, im open to anything
@JoaosB8 I've seen your profile and I can't help but recommend you a classic comedy anime, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. If you want to laugh a lot and always end up with a smile this is a series you should watch, especially if you like absurd humor xDD

I hope you like the recommendation :3

And for me I would like an anime that fills me with energy and optimism, an anime whose protagonist exudes determination and charisma. But also if you see my list of animes I have watched you can recommend me any that you think is similar to my tastes :P

Since you wanted to watch an adult romance anime, I would recommend this one. Sorry if it's not to your liking.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous
Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi

What I would like to recommend is an animated film version that you might enjoy seeing at Christmas. However, “Tokyo Godfathers” is excluded.
@kihel I second Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi 👍👍

@ReiJoaoVictor I recommend to you Kimi ni Todoke, it’s a very good romance anime.
@1RaseC1 it's not a very scientific recommendation and rather generic maybe, but since I've spotted anime like the whole K series, TenSura and Solo Leveling on your list which are some of my favorites as well as a lot of fantasy stuff, I have a feeling you'd enjoy Durarara. the lesser known Blast of Tempest might also be worth a try.
(& I spotted Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers on your dropped list by chance. in case you disliked the plot during the first two episodes; it actually changes quite a bit and gets more interesting the further you watch~)

I would like to recommend you Comic Girls! It's a fun series about Kaoruko, a young 4koma mangaka who hasn't been able to serialize a manga. So she goes to live in a dormitory with other mangakas who specialize in other genres. The personalities of her characters are well defined and Kauroko will gain more experience to achieve her goal.

You say you love historical anime but you haven't seen Arslan Senki? It's the first anime that comes to mind when thinking about hype historical shows. It doesn't really fit the crying or comedy requested part, but it's still so good :3

-----------------------------------------------------------------

For me, I'm kind of slowing down on anime lately and would like something new and fresh. This season's Dandadan still gets me excited (I read part of the manga before) and Blue Lock season 2 is very hype, so maybe something similar to either of those two? I think I would enjoy a no-brain-and-only-fun-but-still-with-story kind of show the most right now :D
@ikkew

I recommend Hetalia. Its a parody anime about world history and it's good brainless fun!

@Lucentful

Well I think everything is a mystery if you look at things a certain way hahaha but a serious recommendation I would give you would be Attack on Titan.

The Titans, the world, it's people, are all a mystery. And if you pat attention you can solve it all in the matter of four episodes like me LMFAO even if you manage to solve it, the story and characters are interesting where you want to watch it unravel.

If you want a manga recommendation, I'd say The World of SKK Girls. I won't say much but it's cute and mysterious wrapped in one! Gives off School - Live! vibes, if you know that one.

@dreamiesun I'll recommend 86. I have a lot to rant about it but I can't do that without spoiling. Just that the story is directed very well, beautiful OST, and it really portrays the desperation of the characters very well.
But if you really prefer Slice of Life over anything, by biggest recommendation would probably be Barakamon. A humbling story with multiple lessons, alongside the comedy aspect that carries Slice of Life shows.

@remiisu If you like absurd comedy, I would recommend Asobi Asobase! The jokes and running gags do get stale if you try to binge the episodes but it's definitely worth watching at least the first episode. Honestly one of my go-to recs for comedy aside from Saiki K (which is also great but apparently "too much" according to one person I had rec'd it to...)

Lately, I've just been watching seasonals but I kind of want to work on my backlog. I'm not looking for any new anime to add to my list so if anyone recommends one already on my to-watch, I'll bump it up in priority!

@DigiCat Hi, so first off cool Tailmon sprite.

Secondly, I went through your list and you've seen so many anime that it was pretty hard to find one that'd suit your taste and you haven't watched yet. At least that was the case until I realized an odd omission. You're telling me you really like Digimon and particularly the Our War Game movie but have never seen Summer Wars?

That's basically a second round of that movie but completely devoid of Digimon as a concept however really entertaining regardless. I'd even go as far to say that in some aspects it does some things better like the way the threat slowly escalates, while others not so much in comparison like the emotional attachment to the characters. Also being a Digimon fan as well I also prefer the one with Agumon and the gang. Regardless, it's almost 2 hours long so it should be worth a shot... right?

Looking at your favs, I would recommend either a 1980s classic like Bubblegum Crisis and/or Top wo Nerae! or Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. You can watch Suzumiya in any episode order, but for me the broadcast one is more fun since it makes you feel better the chaos of the story.
