| Woah, who would have thought a story about a boy looking for his testicles would contain this massive amount of feels? Crazy stuff for sure. Masterclass direction for this episode. Acro-Silky's past was your average (though a bit more raw in execution) tragic/sob backstory but the way how everything was directed plus that majestic piano piece enhanced the overall experience tenfold. Undoubtedly deserving of a spot in any Top 5 Anime Episodes of 2024, if you ask me. Now that said, the only "complain" I have with this episode is the fact they decided to keep both OP and ED. Seriously, going from Aira praying for the souls of the mother and daughter to damn Turbo "Neko" Granny rushing to the hair-dryer was jarring asf. |
| I have a little daughter similar in that episode.. Image how hard I cried.... It's crazy how these series are pure comedy, but they serve the most emotional episode of the year. |
| Aira’s longing to see her mother somehow allowed her to encounter the ghost of a mother who had lost her daughter. What happened to Silky is truly tragic, but at least she got to relive one of her most cherished memories, being loved by her daughter. |
| I was watching this episode while my family was around. When I saw the arc of Acro Silky, it just really made me tear inside, like man I haven't felt this sad in many days. I literally wanted to cry but I had to control my tears because like I said in the beginning, family was around. Man I'm also feeling real bad for idk what happened to her daughter. Let Science SARU cook 🔥  |
| This was the most beautiful episode. I teared up when the backstory with the child began along with that stunning OST. It's really unfortunate that she couldn't see her own daughter who was taken away from her. But the fact that she found solace from being called mommy by a child who has no connection to her made this way more beautiful. |

And made it so that she worked multiple jobs to support her and her daughter as a single mother raising her child. They did a commendable job nonetheless, but I was wondering if the prostitute part was also there, alongside her working multiple jobs (which might've been added on top of it for even more emotional impact), or was it removed from Netflix/specifically censored in my region?! Reading some of the comments here, it seems like they did change that altogether, after all. |
