| From Attack on Titan to this now that’s what you call some good Studio development right there bc this shit is FUCKING PEAK Koshi is actually cute as hell I like her and her character design a lot she’s a Tsundere which makes her even better bc it’s so cute when she acts all flustered and shy when she’s offering to help that part I just find so cute when a girl does that🥰💛 Koshi’s face when blood started splattering everywhere bc the antler was stuck in Nokotan’s head had me bursting out laughing man I was NOT expecting that much blood or blood in general to even be in this show so that shit caught me by surprise😭🤣 The Tokyo Revengers reference made me laugh hella hard man Mikey truly is one of the top delinquent in all of anime🤣🤣 The opening is such a catchy song man the ending is okay not putting in my playlist but I do love how both the female MC’s sing the ending song I love it when VA’s do that, oh I’m adding the opening to my playlist that shit is just too goddamn catchy🔥😭 Overall this is a 10/10 show just by the first episode bc this shit is goated asf off to the next episodes🤩🔥🔥🔥    |

| @uncleqrow @patkarunungan Marimite intro made this an instant add for me, right out of the blue to see that epic intro monologue referenced here. (I love the narrator's qualification at the end "except it's a coed school" lol). Of course I knew the anime itself was gonna be the exact opposite of "keeping their uniforms tidy and walking slowly with decorum" which makes someone like me who's listened to the Marimite intro a hundred times realize what I'm in for :):):) Mind you I would've added this anyway after the epicness of that slowmo classroom introduction. I can see this is gonna be one of those episodes that I'll be re-watching countless times. Scrolled through 9 pages of comments to see if anyone else noticed/cared. Also thanks parkarunungan for the link as it saved me from having to put together something similar. Also makes my day when I see another user with Marimite in their favs (anime AND characters). I practically fell out of my chair a few years ago when a manga I'd picked up also parodied the same bit:  The manga is called Kurogane Pukapuka-tai. It's a yuri comedy set in WWII aboard an all-female* Japanese commerce raider. Naturally they encounter Allied ships also crewed mostly by equally wacky females who are trying to destroy them as well as German and Italian submarines (more crazy females) operating in the Pacific alongside the Japanese. Art was really good, too, characters and the ships. Pity it's so niche that hardly anybody knows about it.  *Except for the ancient white-bearded captain who mostly sits in the Bridge sipping tea, minding his bonsai and typically just nodding his approval on whatever the female officers have in mind lol.  Sorry the post turned into a yuri manga advertisement but whatever :) Gokigenyo! |

| Koshi torako clearly says call Conan from Detective Conan but the subbers changed it to fire truck... But they never seen kindaichi case files so they kept Hajime Chan as it is.. Torako was even impersonating nanase miyuki from kindaichi when she said Hajime Chan.. |

| Never have I enjoyed a fever dream as much as this episode I can't exactly tell whether the use of blatantly questionable CGI technique is playing into the absurd nature of the content, or if it's genually being used in-place of hand animating the deer for whatever reason. I'm sure it's probably a bit of both. |

| Forgot about this series... But the 3D Deers and random reactions + slow-mo makes this look like it's made for people that gets high then watch this, LOL. Also... wonder why they always make a meme out of "you're a virgin"... especially for "middle to high school girls"... it's like they expect school girls to already have Seggs before they get out of school. . Anyways... There are funny moments, but some are a bit TOO crazy... that it doesn't really seem that funny. TBH, I like the blond more than the actual MC deer girl. |

| This episode was an interesting start to the anime. I do admit, I've started it bcuz of the memes (gotta do it for the culture lol), but the episode itself felt rushed a bit. The OP and ED though are both bangers so the music department is fine. I really enjoyed the action and easter eggs littered throughout the show. The humor wasn't really hitting as much and neither was any dialogue. Nothing stood out from my interest and comparing it to other comedic anime I've watched, it just doesn't register as well. I do like the footage of actual deer in the show and the cultural significance of deer in Japan was a splendid nod. Hoping for better to come! |
