| Pretty dark, eerie and gruesome and I like it. Renner singing was wholesome caught me off guard there I thought as if she was some Disney Princess, twisted version though Sasuga the Ultimate Yandere Princess!! Can't wait for the movie Lez goo!!! |

| Such chaos. This was the darkest episode with Princess Renner's plans finally coming to fruition. Poor Climb had endure this all and even then was granted a second chance. Can't wait for the movie. |

| Princess Renner physically became what she already was in spirit. I wonder how she will adjust and how loyal she can be considering her character... Nice to see how things played out and Marquis Raven to survive and become governor or whatever though I still would have loved to see how the capital got destroyed. |

Season 1 was very nice. S2 and S3 were horrible. Season 4 I enjoyed the 1st half, but 2nd half reminded me how everything is of the same over and over. Got oficialy tiring. Ainz is the same one-dimension omnipotent 'being' who wants to 'Conquer the Earth'. Same goes for his OP minions. They even talked about how others would see them negatively if they were to mindless kill people, but next episode they are doing exactly what? Slaughtering people LoL This turned out to be superficial - actually it already was. There is no substance, just violence and how they try hard to be inteligent/complex just to always reach the same conclusion: Kneel before me or everyone is dead. Those poor semi-OP characters are just there to be defeated and remind you -again- how Ainz and cia are invencible. I confess that turned out to be more frustating than I thought. Reasons I keep going: Hope xD And curiosity to see how things will end up. |

| as a more casual watcher, it wasnt my cup of coffee. was thinking itd finally be time we got to see other players popping up. the red guy with the machine gun, surprised he wasnt a fellow player. wonder what players would think of gown (friend? foe? frenemy?) from all the neg karma he has now. wasnt that the point to his evilness? as a beacon to other players saying "hey its me gown, im here in this game" the dragon also used player|npc as well, prolly implying gown isnt his only encounter |

| The title of the episode is perfect "The witch of the Falling kingdom" Before you read the data light novel of this episode, I want to say.... WHAT A BITCH MAAAN, THAT INCREDIBLE, MAGNIFICENT, AAAAAAAAH. Without a doubt, one of my favorite characters in this work, he climbed steps enormously. It's just beautiful. *After reading the data from the novel* He climbed even more steps, it's just... I already said it, didn't I? great character __________ Apart from the blowjob that I just gave the Princess, what a beautiful episode, you felt everything, desolation, despair, loneliness, etc. All. When Climb woke up and saw Renner, I started to feel those typical chills that you rarely get when watching anime. When she began to sing like a typical American Reality Show or Disney Movie, the chills increased. I realized when I finished writing that I blew the Princess again xddd  |

on | Definitely one of the best seasons so far (maybe the best). Plotting, betrayal, executions. It had them all. I've got to say, one of the best parts of the show is the ED. The art is just so good. Looking forward to S5! |

| The title of this season 4 finale, episode 13, is called "The Witch of The Fallen Kingdom" which is also the same title given to the volume 14 light over from which this last portion of the season is based on. Just from the OP itself, you should know who it is referring to by the "Witch". Nah, if you paid any attention at all, even from all the way back in Season 1, you'd know that Renner is the witch, the traitor, the loathsome young lady that contains a rotten heart. Renner is the result of isolating a massively genius mind using countless foolish minds. She could have essentially made her Kingdom proud and powerful has it not been for her father trying to uphold the tradition to allow his firstborn as the future king. Barbro is unfit to be a king given how simpleminded his outlooks are, by the time Zanac became the crown prince, Renner herself was already aligned with the Sorcerer Kingdom. Had Ranpossa III chosen Zanac to be the King earlier instead of his older brother, Renner would not need to go to all these length to achieve her dreams of living out her life with Climb. But then again, would she pass out the chance of living out with Climb for THOUSANDS OF YEARS? Renner only played the sweet charming personality in order for Climb to view her as the angelic, kindhearted woman of his dream, but in order to be accepted into Nazarick and show her fealty, the did the dirty deeds. Hell, Renner poisoning a bunch of orphan children and killing her own father isn't even part of that. She did that of her own will, either to fulfil the requirement of consuming the Fallen Seed, or simply to play out an extremely convincing act for Climb to see. Renner has no regard for her Kindom, Citizens not even her family, though I like to think at the very least, she appreciates that Zanac is intellectually brilliant enough to converse with her on a somewhat equal footing, even if not true. The fact that the Kingdom fell is 90% Renner's doing, but the way in Which Zanac dies is simply not. Even if it means Renner never directly seek to kill Zanac, it's still unfortunate how Zanac had the fate he got, an unfit end for a TRUE KING. Alas the SPLATfest has ended once more, I did not expect to see Demonized Imp-Renner dancing whilst the camera pans around as she sang her twisted princess song, I had a double take at that, for a moment, I thought I was watching a Disney Movie! Only that; the Princess is an imp that has the blood of millions on her hands. This was not even in the Light Nover, but the fact that it's here in the anime made the ending to this saga that much more depressing, at least for the Kingdom because this is literally the end of its history, forever. ================================================================================= Now as Ainz sat atop a mountains of rubble of what once used to be Re-Estize Kingdom, he simply ponders whether his action towards the Baharuth Empire and Re-Estize Kingdom is beneficial to him. For one, this news alone would make everyone considers the Sorcerer Kingdom a serious player in this World. Not only that, the fact that the Baharuth Empire, Holy Kingdom, Dwarven Kingdom and Frost Dragon Colony are an alliance of Sorcerer Kingdom (One way or the other O_O) made it clear that for what it's worth, siding with the Sorcerer Kingdom would highly benefit oneself as well. Ahhhh... The Carrot and Stick plan is excellent! SASUGA-AINZ SAMA!!!! Season 4 has been an absolute blast, I'm glad the adaptation dedicated 5 episodes for the volume 14 segment (ep 9-13) due to the amount of content it has, even then there are still many things cut out, we never even got to see Phillips's legendary CRANE WING FORMATION, though at least we see this dumbass bastard be sent to torture hell. FYI Volume 14 is the longest volume in Overlord so far with over 400+ pages, they're a fun read though. Awesome light novel and man, awesome adaptation, there is nothing groundbreaking in the animation department here but Im glad we're spared from seeing too many jarring CGI as we did in Season 3. The CGI that we saw was tolerable, but man props to the sound mixing. Overlord always had their top tier OSTs, it's a matter of where to use what that manges to highlight some of the events in this season so well. Season 4 came 4 YEARS after season 2 and 3 (since they both aired in 2018), and Season 1 aired 3 years before season 2 back in 2015, don't tell me Season 5 will air 5 years from now (T_T). OH well (^ v ^) we still have Volume 12 and 13 that will air as two separate movies IIRC! CAN'T WAIT TO MEET MY GIRL!!! |
