| This can't just end like this. I still have so many open questions. I hope in a Season 2 at some point PLEASEEEE. This was a really great anime. The OP and the different Endings were all great, the humour was just amazing, the Gore was on point. It was a wonderful journey <3 |

| What a great series. I actually am anticipating the upcoming encounter with Gun Devil. While I don't feel the exact "friendship" as in Jujutsu Kaisen, this one feels more real in that they found each other in experiencing loss and even the events leading up to their unification. Long Live Chainsaw Man! Looking forward to the next one, hopefully Gun Devil will also get kicked in the balls as well. RIP Himeno and Arai (I feel like he was underrated, ngl). Those last few scenes were probably foreshadowing something or teasing something, but they kinda confused me actually. Nevertheless, still liking the ending to this season. |
| It's really hard to judge this anime without bias cause CSM has been one of my most favorite manga and have been anticipating this anime ever since it got announced. If my introduction to CSM's world was the anime, I probably would've rated this higher but since it's not there's bound to be expectations and I can't help but feel disappointed with the direction they went with this adaptation. You have this very eccentric manga that pushed boundaries in the shounen genre, highly praised for its chaotic and energetic storytelling, paneling and visuals and after all that anticipation, we got served nothing of the manga's charms and uniqueness and instead got this really muted and dull version of it. What happened to the vibrance of the manga? Where's the mayhem? Where's the life? Like okayyy I get that CSM has a very dark and depressing world but what made the manga so captivating to me was the juxtaposition of its bleak universe and the lively atmosphere it had. I don't wish to demean the employees at MAPPA that are already going through a hellish working environment in that company but for lack of better word, this adaptation just felt soulless to me with the color palette to the jarring way they switch between those uncanny CGI models and 2D animation. It just looks like any other anime out there. I gotta say though, I don't really mind some of the usual complaints I've seen manga readers have with the anime like the voice acting choices. I thought Makima having a soft voice felt fitting to her character. I never really imagined her having this dom mommy voice everyone seemed to expect from her rofl. Denji, Power and Aki's voices also sounded good to me. I think they did well on that department. The music, I don't really have much of an opinion about cause I didn't really hear any standout OSTs honestly. The opening song sounded boring to me. I guess I expected something more heart-pumping. There were a lot of ending songs so some were bound to be good, some were alright and some were forgettable. Overall, it was okay?? I guess?? My favorite ED was the first though cause I love Vaundy. It may seem like I hate the adaptation but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it so I can't really say it's terrible. I might as well think of it as a separate thing. Kinda like a reimagined version of CSM's world by the director who apparently wanted a more cinematic approach to it which explains the mood of the adaptation. Anyways, I think the anime's a cute 6/10 adaptation of an otherwise 10/10 manga so yeah... could've been better but it was alright I guess. A good attempt to attract new audiences. Still would highly recommend reading the manga though. |

| Honestly, I can't let Sawatari just die like that.... at least Katana Man got a lot of deadly kicks from Denji and Aki lol, but Sawatari just died like that? Unforgivable.. The ending was so beautiful, if only they could continue to enjoy that simple little happiness... but even Aki's life is not long anymore... also, so what if Denji opened the door in his dream? That scene at the end was a cliffhanger! There should be a second season! |

| I don't quite get why Aki killed that ghost devil, didn't she help him? Well at least Kobeni was useful again. I'm surprised this anime doesn't have a second season announcement after over a year, given how popular it was. I couldn't really get attached to any character and the action was good but not amazing thanks to the CGI, but it's was an enjoyable watch nonetheless. 7/10 |
| Lackluster final fights that didn't feel good enough for a season finale. The ones against the Bat devil and Leech devil were the best ones so far. Shame that this wasn't a 2-cour series, it was over by the time things really started picking up. The show was alright but disappointing compared to the amount of hype behind it. |

| I know a lot of people did not like it, but I personally loved the cinematic direction that this show took. It's sad that it will most likely not be like this for season 2, if there is a season 2, because MAPPA got rid of season 1's director already. |
