| One can really feel the culmination of a great anime season when the big menacing character presents itself in front of everyone and starts talking directly to the protagonists. This is exactly what happened between Serie and Fern after her realizing just how much Frieren cares for her even though she doesn't express it. Fern truly sees herself surpassing new heights and I believe that's what the counsel of magic was looking for in a new first class mage, even though for all sense al purpose the exam is pretty bullshit in difficulty. Heartwarming episode both in the first part with the reunion with Ritcher and the second one with Fern becoming the only mage to pass (that we know of at least). Sad departure incoming next Friday. |

| Serie sounds so sexy FUCK! Frieren doesn't pass the exam simply because the examiner doesn't feel like it lol. Is Series mana way bigger than Frieren's, enough to fill the entire room she's in? What the fuck? I'm gonna be honest, I don't really like it that Himmel had met Frieren when he was a boy. It felt too conventional, would've preferred if the meeting between the two was a complete accident. But oh well. Next one is the last one. I'm gonna miss this series. |

| I noticed....ok, it wasn't me who noticed it, but I saw a cool guy who noticed it, the point is that Denken is a gogachad, the books he was looking through and he didn't put them back, but put them on the table, probably contained some useful things that could be useful to Richter there will be an exam in three years, Denken is a brilliant magician and he knew what was missing, Richter, even though these books belonged to him, didn't know that this knowledge would be useful to him. This perfectly shows the gap in experience between them and what a great person Denken is❤️ |

Sousou no Frieren is an anime that dissects the issues of modern life through the viewpoint of an elf who lives a really long life. Episode 27, allowed us to see how Frieren understands Serie despite meeting 1000 years prior. To an elf a century is but a second, a human life is a but minute. The age of humanity is here. 10/10 would cry again.

| The exam part, I didn't like in the beginning anyway turned out to be a joke. I really liked the dungeon part actually but I am so dissatisfied with the conclusion now. I really feel trolled by the show now, I ignored the fact that I don't like the exam, I paid attention and then everything simple means nothing anymore. Sellerie turned everything into a completely unnecessary thing because she didn't like that Frieren helped everyone to pass the actually impossible second exam. She only let Fern pass because she saw more potential in her than in everyone else, yeah well who didn't already. I liked Frieren's "uh...huh" because she doesn't care about the license of a fucking corrupt organization under the rule of a bored Elf dictator. Best part of the episode was Frieren searching for a magical staff workshop, like a mother/father that really cares about the childs happiness. |

| A relatively quieter episode. It's the penultimate episode so usually there's a big encounter that's set up, or the action ramps up a lot for that big climax at the end. But this show does something quite else. It's so subtle though, and I'm sure there will be conflicting feelings over this, but in its quietness and the single action that happens through it still was able to set up so much for a climax. In holding back a lot, it creates this expectation and anticipation for an even greater climax and resolution in the final episode, and I am all for that. Great to see Frieren and others pass the second exam. Looks like this episode is building more into the next exam, which is the final.
It's also nice to see Frieren going out her way to help Fern repair her staff. Fern and Stark had some cute moments together imo as usual. I like Frieren's resolve this episode though and the buildup was an interesting one coming from the recent battles.

| @RobertBobert It's funny because a bunch of human science and history university thesis in some countries are just that, because of academic biases about politics. You say a thing that questions the authority on a subject regardless of how opinionative it ultimately is in regards to a certain topic, and you can kiss your graduation goodbye (even if they cannot exactly refute you) lol Happened to a couple of friends of mine in Brazil, Portugal and Japan in the last 15 years or so haha |

| @Danpmss My history teacher told me after the exam that she really wanted to give me a very high mark, but the exam committee refused. After which one of the members of this commission, a colleague and friend of my mother, came up to me and asked what I had done to my history teacher and why she so strongly did not want them to give me a very high grade. Well, you get it. |

| @Vhailor Actually I changed my mind. Now I understand that this anime is loved by many and is important to them, so I will not trash it and say you should watch something better instead. It's been a wacky misunderstanding, just like between Frieren and Fern in this episode teehee sadly no one can fix this broken ass show the way they fixed Fern's stick |
| I find Serie's deep voice comical and endearing even tho she's kind of a b!tch. It's kinda sad how Frieren and Serie are like the only two elves in the world and they CAN'T STAND each other. (I know that there's other elves...don't @ me) |

| That was nice of Frieren to actually go through with repairing Fern's staff. Though I am not quite sure how her emotions work. She clearly has emotions just she behaves different from the average human. Serie definitely has an unlikable personality. Didn't even have a change of heart from Frieren giving a pretty valid practicality for a spell that seems impractical. |
