| It's insane to me to think about that there are actually people who watch anime on their phones I watch it on TV when I get the chance, but mostly on PC also forum posting from the phone just doesn't have the charm for me, I must do it from PC |
| I bought a phone with a large and great OLED screen just for the sake of watching anime. But in the end I never watched anything on it since watching it on a big screen like my TV is much better xD I watch on computer when what I want to watch is not on crunchyroll. |

| Never watched anime on a phone. I hate phones in general. The screen is too small and I hate the touch screen system. I know it's a question of habit, but I got my first phone very late in life (late teenage years) so by then I was so used to PC that I never made the switch. The first thing I do when I arrive home is to drop the phone on a corner of the house and proceed to forget about its existence. |

| I used to main my phone, until, I realized I can use my PC. Ever since I have been watching on my PC for a years or so. It kind of made me watch less anime because of that. That is why I am going back on my phone sometimes to not get distracted on games. |
| The poll question should be rephrased as "What screen do you primarily watch anime on?" With so many options available, watch patterns can vary quite a bit. Many consumers are multi-screen users. I primarily watch anime on my 55-inch TV in my living room. I use the Crunchyroll and Hidive apps on an Apple TV device to do this. (The Hidive app is crap but what can you do. I've asked their Tech Support to encourage their developers to rewrite it, but I won't hold my breath.) Controlling the experience with the Apple TV Controller took some getting used to, but I got there. Watching from the couch or recliner is the best! I use MAL on my smartphone while watching anime to keep track of progress through each series. I must do this when using Hidive because the app cannot track progress to save its life! Crunchyroll is better, though every once in a while it has issues. When traveling I watch anime on a tablet, or my smartphone (iPhone 13 Pro Max) if the Amazon tablet has Wifi issues. Same apps. The smartphone screen is too tiny to catch all the details so I usually rewatch those episodes on my TV after returning home. Someone should poll MAL users about which SOURCES they use to DISCOVER anime to watch, and manga/LN to read. There are so many, and the ones preferred by the masses aren't clear. I wish there was a clear winner so I wouldn't have to ping so many. Currently, I primarily rely on YouTube Anime reviewers for discovery, but you can't Search them so easily. MAL comes second; its Search works fine but I cannot then watch a sample episode via MAL. I'm wondering if there's a better, more unified solution. I don't want to derail this poll, though, so no extended replies here please. It's just something I'm musing as a relatively new user. |

| Most often I use my phone. Watching on PC isn't private enough, my laptop is usually far away, and setting things up on my tablet is a real pain. I still try to use the tablet when I'm not dead tired (or lazy) as it's much larger than a phone screen. |
