Never heard of this until I saw ep 1, but when does Black Hanekawa from Bakemonogatari get involved? Hime is kawaii too, looks like Ririha from Kaina. Certainly a great start, a solid 9, may even be 10 material if it goes on this well.
oh it's harem isekai, clearly one woman is not enough for this beastly chad of a man, Satou. he successfully friendzoned his childhood friend for now, thus unlocking various possibilities of unintentional polygamy relationships, smooth move
Its ironic that i complain the name is too long. in kanji the name is actually very compact, its just, idk about you guys but calling an anime "rings" or "yubiwa" is weird. and no, calling It wedding rings doesnt make it better either
So from my understanding this is like some kind of like old school fantasy isekai, not the memey tropey ones
But what do i know
Like the whole thing is that he gets caught up with the girl and then there's also like another 4/5/6 girls and it turns into a harem somehow
And yes last year in 2023 fire emblem engage was definitely a thing, soo who knows what these rings are going to do.
Its kind of funny how i completely forgor about lord of the rings. though the rings themselves were never a huge part of it
ok this is like the most abrupt opening ever, like. i guess its one thing. literally girl shows up out of thin air
speaking of opening, here is the actual OP. and how many rings? I mean I guess from the story or something it implies something is going to happen, possibly
well. thats an op. uh. both good and bad stuff. the song is ok i guess
are people actually called hime or himeno in real life? HMM
in which anime do you see a summer festival in the FIRST episode? i guess its kind of like a joke i guess
hurr. that being said, like while i cant speak much it is a good point of, basically friendship or otherwise
also like plot convenience aside if everyone can see it like something something ufo
oh thats interesting. so she has some kind of arranged marriage and we happen to drop in literally on the ceremony? shrug
so yeah one plot convenience later
you know this sounds a lot like a better version of zero no tsukaima. since instead of hte mc just suddenly dropping in,
that would have been a pretty crazy cliffhanger if they left it off there. but otherwise
like its pretty drastic though, one moment he's a normal high school student and next he's uh...
the story is definitely more similar to engage right now, though lord of the rings.
hmm. remains to be seen. also like, maybe there's others as well
its funny because hime, how does she actually feel? i guess thats just like something you know, one of those kind of arranged marriage anime, except there are actual plot and stakes in the mean time
wait so are they both just hiding their feelings from each other? hurr
in japanese its yubiwa ou, while in english its ring king. both are still really awkward
a question i had was why did people wear rings on the 4th finger anyway
many questions. they clearly have some kind of magic that allows/allowed them to move between isekai, but do they not have anything else? the monsters seem clearly way too strong, but shrug
i guess its all or nothing, but hmm
choice of weapon is kind of interesting. i guess anything is fine
So yeah a cliffhanger
They clearly show us like 5 girls in total, so 4 more. probably we'll see the next girl, if not ep 2 then ep 3 i guess, or ep 4? 4 would be a bit late maybe
Otherwise a lot of unanswered questions, they did ok for the first episode all things considered.
From what I've seen of the girls in the op/ed I'm not super enthusiastic but it's alright I guess.
Its really funny because the cover image is like totally different from our ordinary main character.
Also note that despite knowing each other for TEN YEARS, hime still uses last name for our main character. Was his first name even mentioned at all?
I thought hime was a bit familiar, apparently its kito akari again. She's everywheree.
For our mc its satou as well, that aside, while he's fairly new he has a decent number of roles I guess.
Am I the only one who thought that, the volume suddenly went way up when the monsters showed up?
The question is, I mean uh. Like is there suddenly going to be a lot of fanservice later, or is the op/ed just fanservice?
The other question is...so assuming there are at least 4 other rings, thats exactly five rings for him to wear on one hand. Seems like they're on the left hand too.
The art in the anime is pretty ugly, but I like the story in the manga, and the voice acting and music seem to know what's up, so it might turn out OK in the end. They clearly made this on a 500 yen budget though, there's not even a real ED animation.
It's finally here, new anime from MAYBE's manga. As I've already read the manga I was looking forward to it. The visuals look really good, glad they did the artwork justice. Like the world building for this one and it'll keep getting more interesting. Probably my fav part of the series aside from best girl Granart that is. Can't wait to see her appear in the anime. Don't like the main fmc aka Krystal much for various reason which I won't mention so gonna enjoy this much more when the other princesses arrive. OP/ED were both nice btw, specially the visuals. Went all out with the fanservice in the ED visuals. There were some decent fanservice in the episode too. Good start, hoping they keep up the good work with rest of the episodes.
@MegamiRem i'm kinda curious why don't like krystal, i can understand somehow but for the sake of curiosity please tell me anyways.
I can't stand seeing MC so coward & pussy. He has been long childhood friend, why he act like he just meet her yesterday. And the girl all I hear is Tsukasa from tonikaku kawaii
@rijallconnie same, that bathing scene where she told him if he likes her as more than a friend and he was "well yeah, as a dear friend obviously" is so dumb like why did he friendzone himself like that, it's so painful to watch, especially knowing he does in fact likes her more than a friend, which is again very wild that he friendzoned himself despite the chance to properly confess presented itself to him, and why is the fireworks interrupting a confession a trope it's a major cucking trope imo.

It's a lot of spoilers for later as I'd have to give some context. So I recommend you to watch the anime and see for yourself whether you like her or not. It's not any loyalty issue or anything alike if that's what you are thinking.

@MegamiRem oh i thought it was a personality issue, guess i'll watch the anime and find out on my own if it's spoiler.
This will be my "I read the manga, stopped, and forgot most of the story" anime for this season.
I like how the Empire's prince was super chill about the whole marriage ordeal.
How much budget we have for the ED? Enough for a song and one illustration.
@BlichoBoy i fear this anime will end up like Iseleve in terms of animation i already spotted some weird inconsistencies in character design and animation
I waited a while for this! The first episode got me hyped, lol, though knowing what's in store, I should keep some reserves over, haha~!xD> Also, am I the only one who noticed that the plush Satou wins at the summer festival was the same animal as the one from the other world? Makes me wonder if that stall owner was also from the other side..>:P>
Kirito_online said: @MegamiRem please tell me she doesn't love him later only out of jealousy when she sees him with other girls please that trope is so annoying
I don't like Satou nor Hime or even their VAs for some reason even a bit but the way he jumped into the teleportation portal was epic. Some dense MC finally grew into something decent for a change but I'm not expecting much from an obvious harem series such as this. 6/10
At the very least, the supporting characters are interesting... (kissing just to get a power-up from the rings you have is too cliché)

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
Dammit this is harem, which means there's going to be other girls getting in the way of the already perfect relationship between Satou and Hime. All will be forgiven though if the other members of this harem are somehow even better than Hime. Satou himself is quite alright too; man just fully commits to being isekai'd. I'M THE RING KING, B*TCHES
Best character so far of course is the prince whom Hime was supposed to get married to. Dude just sees his girl run off to kiss another guy and says f*ck it, borrow my sword as well
For now, I'm loving it. Even if it all goes to sh*t later, at least we can be at peace knowing it's got some pretty good fanservice.

No nothing like that.
@MegamiRem so does she secretly love him now or does truly feel only platonic feelings of friendship for him?
bro is last season was edgy battlefield this season ecchi paradise its already the third ecchi uncensored anime and this one also happened to be a harem anime this is really interesting wish could have seen this yesterday but was binge watching jojo no time
ngl she looked like she cares for him but as a best friend but with a hint of possible romantic feelings, i just hate that she's not letting it show like come on you kissed him he said you took his breath away you guys are husband and wife even shared a freaking bath in the nude and what she says is she chose him on impulse cuz she doesn't know the other dude and you clearly know he cares for you and yet you drop the question of whether he likes you as more than a friends simply putting him on the spot like that in a situation where you're both naked like wtf! you do know she's making things very difficult for him to confess his true feelings plus throwing all these signs and basically destroying it almost immediately of course he's never gonna know she loves him if she keeps acting like that.
I haven't even went through all ep1s of this season and I'm already tired of all these japanese emotionally and socially handicapped people. This dude spent 10 years, everyday, with her. Yet the show somehow pretends that this is the first time he feels flustered around her. The boobs didn't grow today, he would've had YEARS to get used to her. YEARS to get used to talk to her. YEARS to come to terms with their feelings. And he waited YEARS to confess, and when SHE DOES, he is so fucking dumb to mumble something and friendzone himself.
Not to mention that, apparently, its more ok and easier to willingly step into what appears to be a pillar of fire and light to go who-the-fuck-knows-where with only a shirt and pants on your ass, than to actually TALK to your BEST FRIEND of 10 years about your feelings.
Cute, hot, tsundere waifu voiced by Akari Kitou. I love Hime already <3.
Surprising uncensored nipples. Nice one Crunchy.
Tbh I would have been fine with a romance with just the two of them but the other girls have some pretty appealing designs haha. Putting them in lingerie sure is a strong move to look forward to them xD. Harem aside, for now I want to see how Satou and Hime's relationship develops.
I really liked this first episode, should be a pretty enjoyable show for me this season.
Well drawn, not exactly a unique plot. Looks like it may turn into a harem if the OP and END are anything to go by - which isn't my thing.
Seems a bit of a slow burn so far.
Decent 1st episode, feels like the obligatory generic isekai of the season but it could still be fun. I enjoy casual nudity somewhat more than exagerated fan service, so the brief glimpse at Hime's chest when she gets in the bath with Satou feels realistic and fun.
At first I was thinking this wasn't gonna be a harem because protag-kun is hitched but I realized that's clearly not the case once I saw the OP and ED.
The characters are a bit plain to start off but if we get some more personality on them the story would greately benefit from it.
FInally, the glmipse we got at an early-on villain is pretty cool, so I'm excited to see hour heroes get into some fantasy fights!
nice backgrounds, weird sheep. teleports straight to the mc?
Gramps Alabaster cool va.
Friendzone after that 'marriage'...? straightforward cheesy isekai. barely a fight but decent animation.
cool OP. wait on literal Black Hanekawa, not-Albedo & Tron.
Man really left his father without a word of goodbye or anything… his poor dad is going to be looking for his missing one and only son for the rest of his life, assuming he might be dead
Why can't anyone write these harem protags in a way where they should be at least capable of stringing together a couple of words and convey whatever there is to.
Years after years, seasons after seasons, shows after shows, and we just can't get this one thing right.
Fanservice will be the only saving grace of this series, I already know. Not expecting anything out of this main dude lol. Just hope I can see it through to the end.
Satou is quick on the uptake on the majority of things. But romance is his weakness! Hime's line about changing her style because it was what is expected of her has me conflicted. She definitely rocks it though.
