Bad episode idc about the lore of wano anymore it’s just filled out and repeated to stretch run time and the stuff people care about (kaido and zoro origin) is pushed aside so we can see more shit. I just want to see gear 5 and every time it gets hype no lets show momo or kiku like who gives a fuck.

But still Ngl one piece 10/10 love the show

How do you guys love this episode? Another one lost in nothing more we already knew. We have to wait for the 1076 to pray for the end of the battle. This episode was another shit full of nothing to try to take time and dilute the soup. For me the real OP ended with Marineford, because Haki messed up everything after especially Oda killed all Devil's Fruit, but Wano it's going worst in the Anime. Too long, many fillers, lots of episodes throwed away, before OP used to do 2-3 episodes of recap after the main fights not DURING the main fights.

Peak episode. Yes, we have seen what happened already, but this was so well done and emotional I can't compare this to other flashback episodes/scenes we have gotten.

It looks like wano arc is (finally) coming to an end. Hopefully, they will start picking up the pacing cause I think we're around two years behind on the manga, which is crazy considering it was only around 9 months 1-2 years ago. I'm very excited for the next episode! Hope this week passes quickly :)

Because it was a beautifully made episode? For many people it's not about just moving the plot forward, but the artistry and emotional punch of the whole thing.

I honestly was thinking of skipping 1075 but thank the Gods I didn't, this was done beautifully.
Wano was truly in a horrible mess, no words can describe how despicable Orochi was.
HOPE HE STAYS DEAD!

Please do 1076 justice Toei, the upcoming flashback is one of the hated flashbacks in this entire story. The ball is in your court!

Excessive use of flashbacks in general can be pretty annoying but in this case I think the execution was magnificent. A harmony of themes, visually pleasing aesthetics, the amazing transitions and captivating soundtracks truly coming together. Honestly beautiful episode.

@Dahaka_ It was not and if you check how ppl are voting to the thread, the 31% hated it. You are confusing giving a good background to the story with diluting the soup to taking time. This kind of filler and background is the fifth time that pops out, plus they are exasperating this fight, like the episode of Gear 5 that was just Luffy jumping around with the whole plot on Orochi and Hiyori. Doflamingo fight>>>Kaido. The episode 1074 Luffy started to give the punch, 1075 nothing, 1076 maybe he will throw it. It's One Piece, not Captain Tsubasa.
I understand you need to take time to not come too close to the anime, but put an end to the fight and after you can do also 10 episodes of recap and background.

The start of the final battle between Luffy and Kaido, not action filled .But One of the most emotional episodes for this series.

You're just proving my point that you only look at plot progression aspect, while what people love about this episode is the artistry in directing and storyboading. 31% ppl hating it means only that they are too focused on plot moving on to actually see how amazingly made this episode it. If you don't like it, fine, I'm just explaining why it is an amazing episode for many others.

Besides, this was exactly as in the manga, so it's not anime stretching it, they just adapting original author's work at the same pace as always.

the most dramatic episode in wano arc, i feel like Oda wants to send an important message, i mean the suffering of wano people exists in real world, some people are suffering the same in real life and thats really sad, Oda always stays the best since he always reflect the reality in one piece .

[great episode whatever it didnt fucus in fight but it was great i love it]

One of the (admittedly) rare episodes that were far superior to the manga counterpart. Whoever was responsible for directing and drawing (art-directing) this episode deserves a fucking salary raise. Even the OST hit hard.

Oh, and this episode gave me 10 times the emotions that the Live Action ever did.

@Slim1795

I do get people's complaints about the pacing of the story, not just wano but the entirety of the emperor saga has kind of been this way for a long while. That is why post wano will suprise many fans to say the least. The difference almost is staggering.

Oda and his editors even recognize that the story tends to get stretched out alot and this is just reffering to the manga, TOIE adding padding ontop of oda's slow pacing makes it even worse. But please do not understate the immportance of some of these moments in the story just because the pacing is bad. There are key components and characters in the WANO story arc that are instrumental for the future of one piece. Its not all about just the straw hats. I do agree that this episode kind of rehashed alot of what we already should know. But this was meant to be sort of a "recap" moment in the manga since the story arc was so long. The distinction is that in the anime the TOKI and Orochi scenes were shown many times in the series, where as in the manga they were only shown very few when it was deemed relevent for the story like this moment considering Momo's entire character arc is tied to the ending of the wano saga.

That being said though, with the content they were adaptating, this was a very well directed and very stylistic episode, the visuals were great and the music was quite emotional so TOIE manage to make what was a standard recap moment in the manga into something quite beautiful.

The next ep will have more backstory but its backstory we have not seen before so hope you look forward to that at least.

This was very nice episode visually and you can really see the pain the people of Wano went through all these years through this
And Kaido looks so sick in his flame form
@SamBlack Yes but we saw this pain already in 100 episodes. Although maybe this arc is so stretched that it was already a few years ago, so now it's appropriate to show it again XD This show makes me sad, because no matter how hard they try, you will never be able to create a fully satisfying episode from only one chapter. Wasting potential, nothing more.

The ppl not liking the recap of Wano and what the ppl were suffering through for those 20 years are just shonen meatheads who want action and only action bc this flashback of the Wano ppl going through it really touched me man shit had me tearing up bc of the horrible things Orochi did, that guy is irredeemable for the SMILE’s too.😢☹️

I’m glad Denjiro who has to suffer the most since he was sitting next to Orochi while he was doing those horrible things was the one who cut his head off🥰

Took a 1 year break from One Piece to let things build up and just finished bingeing about 52 weeks worth of episodes, on top of bingeing the new live action. It was good to catch up again during a peak time for One Piece, even tho I felt this whole wait was only to watch Sanji Zoro and Gear 5. Now to go back to weekly as eagerly await the conclusion of Luffy vs Kaido 🥲

How sweet it is to finally get rid of Orochi. This episode really highlighted how much The Land of Wano really suffered under the new rule. I felt really bad for them and it reminded me of all the past islands that suffered before Luffy and his crew arrived to save them.
