| Loved the episode, the "ultra romantic" scene was well made, I approve as a manga reader lol. Somehow Miyuki really calculated everything, like it's super crazy that the ball goes over the fire and releases all the balloons like that toward the clock tower. Ai actually getting heartburn realizing that Miyuki went thru all the planning for that ultra romantic moment lolol. Oh damn and they brought back the og song huh, how fitting. The kiss finally happened and it was a love sniper lmao. And Kaguya initiated the tongue action oh shoot lol. Ai's reactions to the whole situation are funny lol. Wow and it really ended like that huh, there'll def be more future stuff, can't wait to watch more anime of this series. And it seems the confessions have yet to be made. By far this is my favourite season of love is war and this series as a whole still is my fav of all time lol. A definite 10/10 for me as usual. |

| That was such a cute episode ! I'm so happy these two dorks finally managed to get over their pride and shyness. Well, they still have the confession to make but the biggest part is done (somehow, they managed to get together before confessing, which is quite adorable). The rest of the episode was very wholesome too, honestly I feel like the franchise could've very well just ended there. I mean, not every arc is over but it would've been a satisfying ending nonetheless. Anyway, that was a very good season ! Overall I didn't find it to be as funny as the other two but I really enjoyed it, especially the festival arc. The characters are very endearing with good development, it's great to see how far they've come. Now, I need to know how Ishigami's relationship with Tsubame will go ! Especially since there seems to be a love triangle forming due to Miko. Also, I feel like Hayasaka deserves better. Poor girl has to deal with a lot of things, it'd be great to see her have her happy ending too. |

| When I saw season one, I thought this was pretty solid albeit I wasn't expecting to ever reach a confession. Nearly four years later, I found myself falling head over heels for this series and could feel every inch of the ultra romance inside me (my heart, I mean). To all of the "peak romcom" comments I scoffed at in the past year, I yield. This is easily the cream of the crop for both its absurd wit and absurdly adorable chemistry between Kaguya & Miyuki. I really enjoyed how through most of the comedic one-ups & antics there were hints being dropped at what Kaguya & Miyuki really wanted from a confession - a chance to be on equal footing to the one they love & admire most. Even as this series was laced with innuendo & sensual humor, the most heartfelt moments were as wholesome as it got. S1: 8.5 S2: 9 S3: 9.5 On a final note, I actually like the way it didn't explicitly setup Ishigami x Miko. It feels as though it respects the current feelings Ishigami has for Tsubame, like a massive heart-shaped cookie that will be deliciously fleeting. In contrast, the tiny heart that Miko received is a chance at a budding romance that would likely take shape after Tsubame has graduated. |

| They finally kissed! And they're both going to Stanford together. The main obstacle now is Kaguya's father. I wonder how they can beat such a powerful man. If that was real life, their romance had zero chance at that point unless Kaguya was willing to disinherit. It's too bad Ishigami couldn't confess for real to Tsubame yet. I'm looking forward to how he'll pull it off in the sequel. His love story is more interesting than the main story for me. I hope Hayasaka & Miko will find their romance in time. Hayasaka is so damn cute whenever she's flustered. Kaguya did it right, though. When I did my first kiss, I also used my tongue. lol |
| As someone who has read the manga and seen this scene several years ago, I must say that I am so completely delighted by the entire buildup, execution, and aftermath of this particular eps, which is undoubted;y, one of the most MAJOR events in the entire series, a time where Miyuki and Shinomiya finally acknowledged their mutual love, not in verbal words, not just yet but in their action. Kaguya for one is really bold to French kiss Miyuki as her very first kiss, though it's mostly because she didn't know any better. Whereas Miyuki himself is a more romantic and calculating individual, he has foreseen any and all interruptions and has adjusted EVERYTHING accordingly, using his authority, he does all this in order to create the most memorable spectacle not just for himself and Kaguya, but for everyone else in the School. I may be late seeing this episode which aired almost exactly a year ago, but the sense of hype, endearment, and absolute satisfaction has not waned, it's all so precious, so glamorous, oh so enchanting, seeing these two couple kiss after all they've gone through was simply perfection, I have to give a round of applause to this adaptation as well for compiling a montage of th4e scenes from the previous 2 seasons in a brief flashback to see both Miyuki's and SHinomiya's intimate interaction with one another. Man, am I just over the moon to finally witness this lovely episode! If 4th season were ever to come, the focus will be on Ishigami and Tsubame interacting together with Iino being here and there, but alas, the end is not near. There are far more major 3events that the anime will have to adapt before exhausting all the tales from this charming story. 💙❤️ |
