There aren’t any leaks, the team behind Kaguya is currently finishing up Makeine. Same issue with the 86 team working on Nier; A1 is just too busy nowadays. Even if they decide they wanna do Kaguya S4 next instead of Makeine S2, late 2026 would be the earliest that would happen.

Currently only Green light, production not started yet, the Kaguya staff are currently working on Makeine S2 after the huge success of the first season, so we'll not get Kaguya Sama season 4 for atleast 4 more years at minimum

Announce Season 4 - leak

@Shadow12340976 Mate, this "working link" is dated December 2022.

We are now in March 2025. As in two and a half years later. The Kaguya team has since announced and released an entirely new adaptation (Makeine), and then also announced a follow up to that (Makeine S2).

There is no S4. It's fan wishcasting at best. If you have actual recent news that may have bearing on the current situation, please do share it, but this is misinformation otherwise.

There is no season 4, they explicitly intended for season 3 to be the last one, since in their opinion, that represents a better ending point than where the anime actually does go.

Personally speaking, while I would have loved to see an adaptation of Miko's arc especially, overall, the manga does decline in the latter part of its run, so I agree with their decision to not keep it going.

Who knows though, maybe some day in the future it is brought back for some reason or the other. But for now, don't expect it. The story is done for all purposes, as far as the anime is concerned.
