| was this the episode they said ufotable helped work on or something? cause it certainly didn't seem like it and didn't live up to the hype. it was still the best for this cours standards but nowhere near as good as the yamamoto fight from part 1, not even close. sakuga was lacking but always satisfying to see big ass blades. zaraki still being a badass though and good to see yachiru take part in some of the action as well. the osts were very solid too. sternritter V wasn't anything special though despite his ability, zaraki deserves a more badass opponent. maybe a 6.5 or 7/10 episode, good but overhyped. |

The fact that she finally got a fight only for it to be super rushed in the anime and for her to then disappear at the end is what hurts the most. |

Hmm, I understand your frustration but I feel like you know major spoilers related to Zaraki's zanpakutou and was expecting them to happen within this episode. The Yachiru appearances here are just a hint for something bigger, even in the manga, it's suppposed to feel "random", unless you already know something more... She's VERY important in a future battle against , this is the point when it definitely needs more context and explanation to viewers, but we're talking like cour 4, y'all neeed to chill. |

| Man, this episode combat is hype as hell. Cutting meteor is always such a big flex moment in power shonen anime series lolz I thought Bleach would go downhill after season 1 , but this just keep getting better and better. This might as well be some of the best adaptation a shonen series could ever imagine. The pacing is perfect too, with each foe going down in 1 to 2 episodes The studio also doesn't use the "slow motion + monologue" techinique a lot of bad shonen manga adaptation does. Each fight use speed dynamic/ camera angle to showcase how fast/ intense the whole battle is. This is way better than Demon Slayer against Upper Moons because I dont feel the dragged on plotline/ boring monologues and long flashback to interrupt the combat. They just make each fight quick and concise , instead of lots of bloated dialogues/ slow motion/ standing in one spot staring each other , like Demon Slayer against Upper Moon. (Which takes 10+ episodes) |
| "One upping" somebody when they're fighting, in all of anime, Kenpachi's use of it has to be the most entertaining I've seen. |

| The animation looks very great! It's similar scene to Madara Uchiha in Naruto when dropping a meteorite :) Love it! Can't wait to see what's that brain used for :) |

| Very good episode. Definitely rushed though. They skipped many of the sternritter's reactions to the meteor, which isn't that big of a deal. But what is a big deal is the lack of backstory for Gremmy. CFYOW gave Gremmy context, context that would have greatly benefitted his character if included with his death. Oh well, still a great episode. Some of the shots were stellar. Phenomenal directing. |
