| I was worried that it could be "that dramating, generic ending" you can see in a lot of shows, and that 9S would die once his eyes started glowing red, lol. It was so cool that not only he survived, but his consciousness could be repaired by all those slain robots. Pretty nice anime. I liked it. I haven't played the game, so I can't compare the stories of both to each other, but as an anime only viewer, I think it was fine. |
| Finally done with this since I discovered they dubbed the last 4 episodes back in november. Really interesting changes made by Yoko Taro, I am pleased with what I got out of this despite its rough start. I hope second cour gets english dubbed as well. Would not recommend this to someone who hasn't played the games considering it mixes both Route A and B and it brings some Route C spoilers early, but as a Drakennier fan it was really enjoyable. |

| episode 11 killed my buzz and there were some questionable changes made but this episode really hit the mark and did justice as an adaptation definitely going to be tuning in for the next installment and intrigued to see what they do with the rest of the game |
| As someone who has played the game years ago, this was a nice reminder of the important events and it made me happy that it kept up this atmosphere with ths haunting OST. Some parts in the game were also kinda abrupt or too vague, so I had no problems with this adaptation. Can't wait for the next one! |

| I finally rewatched this season after I played Nier Replicant. It was so nice to see the references to that game but also in this episode one of the classified information 9S was reading was regarding project Gestalt. My jaw dropped instantly as this piece of information completely went over my head in my first watch. I am not ready to watch part 2 of this anime, I think I teared up on each episode 😭 |

| I left this on hold after the meh first episode but the ongoing second season brought this back to my radar, and I’m glad it did :) A very unique setting, I kept hearing about that aspect from the game too, but the animation quality and especially the character design and action choreography were well maintained too. Occasional chirping between the two main characters was really fun too, Ishikawa Yui-san is just meant for calm and collected characters like 2B, I swear. The whole dilemma and exploration between the fine line separating Androids and the machine forms was very intriguing. I just wish the main villain could’ve been better, though. That dropped the ball a little for me. I thought for sure A2 would serve as that but that’s for later, I suppose. Plot twist about humanity already gone and out was a fun little idea I’d in mind after re-watching the first episode but it quickly dispelled when I saw Jackass (xD) and co. To think that I was actually right in the end about it though, that’s something. Usually I’m way off with these ambitious takes of mine, lmao. Good to break the deadlock for a change. Oh, and the ED theme. Amazarashi, thank you. Kyoukaisen, Kisetsu Shinu, this and aplenty more, they know how to make it despair-inducing and I just love it when theme songs elevate the show’s themes. Same can be said about the osts and the Op too but special mention to the aforementioned. Anyways, on to 2nd season next! Definitely intrigued by what this season had to offer so curious to see what’s next in store. Solid 7/10 from here. |

| This anime was fire still it's rating is around 7.5 one the other hand Mid leveling have 8.2+ rating. Damn I'm disappointed. |
