| I read some replies here regarding the last scene and... One might assume that people that watch anime should be more accepting(because for years we were shunned to oblivion for watching anime), regarding "the mind is in the wrong body" aka. our main lead might be trans. If our main lead is trans, hey, even better, then the question becomes how the author will explore it. Overall episodes so far are pretty good, but I wish our main leads would not be romanticly interested in each other. It's as if every main lead pair need to become an item in anime world. |

| Good episode, not sure if the lady that ran the hotel was going to protect or sacrifice the 2 MCs but regardless she's dead. The kids in the dome seem to have super powers but so does Maru. Speaking of Maru, poor guy confessed to Kiruko and she tells him she has the mind of a guy. I wonder if that's her late brother (thought about Summertime Render from last year). |

| This just keeps getting better and better! Atmospheric mood and cool fight, what was that skill?? Very interesting "universe". Many open questions after only 2 episodes. Can't believe they gave away the twist at the end in the first episode, when the two were mugged he/she said "I'm a boy too" but at least I dismissed it as a joke. Seems like you can't believe anything for now. |

| Looks pretty good until now. I just hope it'll stay a bit subdued like in the first two episodes and not become ridiculous with increasingly big and powerful monsters and never-ending combats. |

Body Swap is usually done by switching minds/spirit or transforming the body. Transplanting the brain is unusual. Makes me worry that a lot of people will be disappointed if in fact Kiruko is seeking for someone to transplant his brain back. |

| Wow, that opening sequence animation was great. Already I can see it among the best of this year. The story is not behind either, but it's a bit confusing to be honest. The way they cut from one side to the other leaves you thinking how weird one side is and how dangerous the other one becomes regarding the battle and the crocodile. Also, I can't emphasize enough how good and detailed the animation is. Great start so far, even if Maru got "brozoned". |

Considering that it's rare to see good trans representation in anime you are right, some people will be disappointed... but definitely less if Kiruko was actually trans (if you know what I mean lol). And in the same time, Kiruko doesn't need to be explicitly trans to still be relatable for trans community (or other people/communities) like eg Matrix movies. Kiruko desire to return to "original body/gender" or even not being comfortable in own body can be also considered transgender allegory. Honestly this subject could be good "hook" for discussion, if people wouldn't turned toxic. |

| 3/5 Decent follow-up episode. Certainly a drop-off from the first one in terms of overall animation but we still got some great content nonetheless It seems like we're skipping to & fro Heaven & Hell. More characters introduced in the heaven section. We quickly cut back to our protags waking up from their supposed "drugging", which by the way has to be the WEAKEST of all time. Mf's were out & about immediately xD. A bit iffy but still a nit-pick. The monster design was generally cool and the aspect - ratio switch up during the fight was a nice touch. I guess, a homage to japanese horror in a sense. The mother-son twist was redundant and it got worse after she was killed off because i could see it coming from miles but i digress. I like the quirky, non-chalant personalities of our protags but i also somehow find it a bit out of place. The twist at the end was decent and now the mirror kiss last episode makes completely sense. The way she or he put it reminded me immediately of Togata from Fire Punch( those who know) and if it's going to be an character exploration series im all for it but i want more of world building too which we certainly didn't get much of in this episode A bit disappointed, perhaps because of my own high expectations but still a solid episode |

| It was obvious from the first episode that ostrich bird monster thing was the old woman's son.. I think onee-san feels very guilty about her brother dying that she convince herself that she is actually her brother and living in the sister body |

| As we got a little bit further in the story, we still see it portrayed in an amazing movie-like visuals and smoothness, with nice use of black bars in tense moments, that was epic. There is a lot of think about, but no questions yet. Is the kids in the school the past or the present, are they linked to the 2 kids that are roaming around deserted Tokyo now ? What's the story anyway behind all of this ? It seems very developped which makes me excited to know more and discover what is really happening, still as hype for this anime, it's pretty great so far ! (also : I like you onee-chan ! But I'm a boy !) |
